The aquatics lessons require you to signup for a session of 8 weeks, and you need to select a…read moreparticular week and Time (based on their sessions). If you are not a member at ProClub, the sessions available to you need to be Monday-Friday: 9:00AM to 5:00PM. When I signed up for aquatics lesson, I was told specifically, that in event, I am not able to attend the session, I will be able to reschedule, as long as I provide them a 24hour notice. As such, I have a conflicting event for this weeks lessons, and I contacted the club 5 Days in advance, and was told that they simply do not do make-up lessons, and If I miss the class I will not be allowed in one of the alternative sessions. Mind-well, ProClub has 6 classes at similar level during the week, which I can attend, and I was specifically told by ProClub staff, I will be able to cancel and reschedule class if needed. The overly restrictive time for Non-members compounded by their lack of understanding that sometimes due to unavoidable reasons people may need to reschedule, make ProClub aquatics not a good choice.

None of that re-enrolling after 10 weeks (or however long other swim programs are) and writing down 3 time slot choices (hoping to get your #1 choice). - group session is maximum of 3 swimmers! - consistent teachers. My daughter had teacher John for almost 2 years before seeing a different teacher. - program director is very receptive of comments. Example: one new teacher talked a lot in the beginning to the point the kids were no longer listening. Explained the situation to the program director and the following week, there was improvement. Short instructions, kids listened well, and ample swim time. My daughter would've stayed with Orca if it weren't for the fact that she wanted to join a swim team and needed that next-level program to improve her endurance and skill set. I always recommend first time swimmers to check out Orca.

The assistant general manager Mason was also happy to help me corral my son back into the water when he inevitably ran away from the pool (not out of fear, but more of having fun running away from his mom stuck in the pool and desperately calling out his name... he's a jokester and a runner). I do think the lessons are pricey ($168/month for weekly 30 minute sessions means $42 every week), but I don't know what your budget is. I ended up canceling because of the price and the timing with my and my baby's schedule. If I had all the money and time to splurge on my kid, I would definitely continue. Color Me surprised when I saw that Waterbabies was offering a once a month free swim hour in the Kent rec catalog. So, we decided to give it a try. It's only about 16 minutes from my house so it's not too far to go. Getting there was not very tricky. I followed my GPS, which led me behind a bar at the far end of a business complex. Parking has always been easy to find, even a close spot near the door. We've been here three times since and my girls love going. To be honest, I love going too. But what sets it apart from other pools is that they have really awesome foam toys that I had never seen before, like a floating foam slide and a foam canoe that fits two. They also have lots of handheld toys, rings, and goggles to use. They have the larger pool, which is 4 ft throughout, and they have a smaller one by the door. My one gripe with using the local pool was that it was always a fight to get a shower afterwards...But not here. We've always been able to walk right into the changing room, shower with pleasantly hot water, and know that our belongings are safely stored in one of their lockers. One convenience feature I also saw was a pack and play available for moms with babies that need corralling. All of the staff is very nice, with even keel, reasonable energy. You don't get overtalked to, but everybody is informed in case you have questions. It's been a really great experience coming here and I hope they continue to offer this monthly family swim!

Update they made it right added a few stars…read more I had my daughter's birthday here. We weren't impressed by the lack of communication and how long it took to get a reply and book the party. It's nice you have the entire space for just your group and you can use all the water toys they have. Which is a ton of fun toys. The party space was a good size for the group of 12 kids but their wasn't a lot of extra chairs for the adults. I liked that we were allowed to tape decorations. You are responsible for setting up the whole room. The tables were all folded in the corner and chairs in stacks. The huge negative was the pizza package that was clearly stated on the website to include juice, water, plates, napkins, and forks... When we ordered it it wasn't mentioned they didn't include those anymore we found out a few minutes before the party was going to start! One of us had to run to the store to buy the needed things and missed half the swimming time for my daughter's birthday. If it was just me I don't know what I would have been able to do to get the needed supplies and watch my kids... If we had known none of those were included and it was only the pizza I could have bought and picked up the pizza for a lot cheaper since dominos is in the same complex as the pool. And I would have been prepared with the items we needed.

Enrolling our daughter here was genuinely life-changing for our family. It enabled both of us to return to work full-time with the peace of mind that our little one is in good hands. Communication from the teachers and staff is timely and thoughtful. They keep us informed about any incidents or needs as they come up -- nap-time challenges, behavioral hiccups, and the like -- always with our child's best interest at heart and always in a kind, informative way. Big shout-out to Miss Julie and Miss Kate, who run this location so smoothly -- they've helped us with everything from enrollment questions and arrangements around medications (our kid has an allergy, and they walked us through the entire emergency process) to updates on events. And the classroom teachers -- Miss Lakshmi, Miss Shomika, Miss Zamira, and Miss Raja -- clearly have our daughter's best interest at heart. We couldn't be happier.

But you…read morecan always give me a red heart after you enrolled you kid and really learned about what I said in a hard way. And, you are welcome. We enrolled our child here for a few months and experienced so many problems that we decided to withdraw. Honestly, it's hard to put everything into words. If I had to sum it up in one word, it would be chaotic. The management is extremely disorganized, and it shows in every aspect of the school. They promise everything during the tour, but nothing is actually realized. For example, my son's potty training regressed while he was here, yet on his very first day at his new school, he was completely successful again--clearly showing where the issue was. Staffing is a major problem. The school feels understaffed, and instead of hiring enough people, they move teachers around constantly. Teachers are pulled from classrooms to cover the front desk, which leaves children without consistent caregivers and disrupts their sense of safety and stability. Sometimes multiple teachers sit at the front while classrooms and playgrounds remain short-staffed. When teachers are missing, children may be moved into other classrooms without parental consent or proper camera access. The facilities and environment are also concerning. The classrooms and floors are often dirty, even in the morning when children are first dropped off. The food quality is very poor, meals look like leftovers, often just cereal porridge with tiny bits of vegetables or meat, and not the organic quality that was promised. Supervision is lacking both indoors and outdoors. There are no cameras outside, and playgrounds are regularly understaffed. Our child was seriously injured outside and no report was provided. During one unannounced visit, I even witnessed children crying hysterically with no teacher comforting them, while other teachers raised their voices harshly at kids in full view of parents. Another disturbing concern is the culture: the school head's own child is in the school and acts as a bully in the classroom without intervention. Other staff members' children also receive special treatment. If teachers dislike your child, they may even allow or encourage other children to mistreat them. To make matters worse, they openly supports physical punishment, something every other preschool we toured explicitly prohibited. Unfortunately, our child experienced this firsthand. He was two years old, but punished in a harsh and rude way. The teacher had segregated and neglected him during nap time. We are contacting the agencies for the abuse. Hopefully they'll get punished soon. Communication with management is evasive and never provides reassuring answers. Overall, this school fails to provide the safe, nurturing, and trustworthy environment that children need. I cannot recommend it.
