Huge shoutout to Becca, she was incredibly knowledgeable about the coffee and took the time to walk me through options, then helped me pick out a matcha drink that was exactly my taste. You can tell she really knows her stuff and genuinely cares about the experience. Great drinks, thoughtful service, and the perfect excuse to wander a beautiful nursery while you're there. I'll definitely be back.

Their other location has colorful seating, artwork, with tables & chairs woven into a forest-like wonderland of plants. This one? A table. A gray backdrop. Sure there are plants, but they're a ways away and it felt more like hanging out in a midwestern garage. The other issue that has me knocking it down some stars is that this has become THE place to get warm. Sure we have our furnaces blasting in January, or a fireplace roaring, but you know that kind of late spring, humid warm? This is usually it, but I have to say I was borderline cold on my last visit. It felt clammy and more "March spring" than "May spring." Coffee is EXCELLENT from Thou Mayest, and it's hard to go wrong. Wifi was not all that strong and ran into a few issues on a video call, but is relatively sufficient for most day-to-day work items if you choose to work from here. If it's equidistant, I would say go to the Shawnee location for sure. If this is the closest one, it's not all bad, but I would love to see some real warmth and color in here to help complete the escape-winter-energy that we all need during this cold, gray stretch.

This is their third shared location inside of a Family Tree Nursery. The idea is wonderful; I mean who doesn't enjoy being inside a greenhouse surrounded by beautiful plants, flowers, trees and succulents - maybe the only smell that beats the aroma of coffee! Unfortunately this location does not have indoor seating, which was a bit of a drag on this cool rainy morning. I enjoyed wandering around sipping my beverage, but I really had planned on sitting and relaxing for a spell. My beverage today was a specialty drink - The Pollinated Lavender Latte. It was just as delicious to drink as it was bougie to pronounce. Honey, pollen, house made lavender syrup and several shots of espresso gave me energy and a reason to carry on through the rain. If the bees, coffee and lavender plants have to endure the weather to bring me this decadent drink, then surely I can face the storm and make it a positive experience. I will definitely enjoy returning here and sitting outdoors, but only on perfect weather days.

After walking most of the trail we were abruptly stopped and told " How many times have I told you ladies you can't walk here. You can't be here unsupervised!" My friend and I were confused and shocked at the person telling, who then told us that other golfers had called to report us and that it was a hazard for us to be walking on the paved trail. Granted, there was a lady walking the same trail who had a baby in a stroller and another gentleman who was jogging on the same trail. The man then told us that we HAD to get in the golf cart and he would drive us back to our cars even though we were only a few steps from finishing the trail. During the short trip back to our cars, he asked how did we even get in and did we jump the fence. He asked was the gate even open? He then asked if we were sure that we hadn't jumped the fence? Honestly, what reason would there be to break into a public golf course that had the front gate wide open. After this interrogation session, he decided to add to the yelling by telling us, " Im amazed no one asked you guys for your numbers because golfs are weirdos." I responded with, "Oh are they?" He was quiet after and began asking where did we park again. After dropping us off he decided to remind us that we can't walk there anymore because of the so called dangers that is present (which is present to everyone on the course). My friends mom called the manager who told her the other walkers paid to be there. If that's true, then why were we not offered that or told that we could walk if we paid. Additionally, he still said it was dangerous to walk on a paved path at a golf course. If that is true, why were there walkers there that paid a fee to be on the trail? So disappointed in the level of treatment. They treated us like criminals because I am black and friend was with me.
