I went into the Swoozie's store on Roswell Road today at 5:55. I was standing in line behind another customer. The associate asked me can I help you I asked if they wrap items not purchase from your store. The associate said yes you have to buy the wrapping paper then she proceeded to say only two of us here and I am helping this customer. My other associate is helping another customer and I have to ring up that customer. I said OK, the store closees at seven, correct, the associate then she proceeds to tell me the wrapping paper is over there to the right and then rolls her eyes and... this is my response. I feel like you want me to come back tomorrow the associate reply's YES. I left the store...because you have literally an hour and five minutes before you close and you can't tell me you can't wrap my gift. read more

I like some of what I find here, but have found it overpriced for the most part. I was preparing a gift bag and removed the price sticker, only to find Swoozie's had marked it up 25%. Of course, I don't care about the dollar, it's the principle, and 25% is a lot on a more expensive item. read more

I love swooshes! It's the best place to pick up personalized gifts from everyone in your life! I can even call them, vaguely describe what I want, and it's perfectly made and wrapped when I need it for pick up. Everyone who works in the store is lovely and they work very quickly. It's surprisingly affordable to make it purchase personalized gifts and even the in stock regular store items are great to make any activity more festive. read more

I'm so glad this Swoozbie's is still around! I loved the one on Peachtree but it closed and now this one is closest to me. Still a great store for small gift items, fun and inexpensive jewelry (perfect for summer when you get all hot anyway and maybe want to be a little more casual a lot of days), stationery, and cute cocktail napkins and the like for festivities. I also love their deals on boxed notecards with monogramming, and they have a solid selection of greeting cards. NPWH, too, which is always a plus! read more

Stopped by here since I saw they were having a sale. Found it kind of odd that they put their sale products outside the store (especially when it is 100+ degrees outside)...but OK. After walking around inside I came to two conclusions: 1. This place is super cute and has great gift ideas....BUT... 2. Things are WAY too expensive. Why are two baby burp cloths $22? Why is ONE baby bib $19??? There were monogram necklaces for $29 and $39...I feel like you can get actual designer monogram necklaces for just a little bit more. Things were simply just not worth it. It's a cute place with good gift ideas, but the price point is just too high. And like other reviewers have stated, not once person approached me to ask me if I needed help or had any questions. When I checked out, I was looking for some small clear goody bags (generally found in a pack cheap at a party supply place). When I asked where they were, the sales associate said they were behind the counter. I wanted quite a few and she informed me they were priced individually for .50 per bag.......so small you could not fit a cookie in it. I felt this was "opportunistic" as they were priced per bag. The sales rudely looked at me like "Oh well" in a very condescending tone. I only shop there when I need something last minute. Based on principle, I will not be shopping here again. Ok, this place just totally sucks! We finally got our invites and realized that the outer envelopes were not lined as we had to order, so we waited 3 more days for them to come in. Then last night when we were putting the invites together we noticed that the inner envelopes didn't fit in the outer envelopes; so we decided to just go with the outer envelopes and not use the inner envelopes. Then after putting all the invitations together and stamped we noticed that the outer envelopes they got us did not have the sealing gum on them. It is much too late to wait for them to do another reorder so I guess we'll have to glue stick them together with creates another pain in the ass step of putting these things together. WTF is wrong with these people that work at Swoozies. I really wish I could give them negative stars! read more

This is the perfect gift shop, especially if you need something fun for a female. Great for bachelorette/bridal shower gifts. Lots of monogrammed items as well. 3 star's because customer service was blah. They were busy setting up a new display when I walked in and I guess that means too busy to greet customers. Yes, Swoozies is expensive, but y'all have to pay for great swag! I've been to a bunch of bachelorette parties over the years, and almost every time the decor is from Party City. When I was on the quest for gear to surprise my college roommate for her wild weekend in Vegas, I knew Swoozie's was the place to go. For $60 - I got her a bachelorette wine glass, sash, tiara with a veil, party cups, napkins, and some other glittery girly fun. Since I had to pack everything up for the plane ride, the team at Swoozies was kind enough to give me extra paper and ribbon so I could make everything pretty and presentable after we landed. Our bachelorette loved everything. I would highly recommend checking out this location when planning for any party. If anything, just walking around the cute store will get your creativity going! read more

I debated on whether to give this 2 or 3 starts. Went w/ because........the merchandise selection is varied, fun and alot of it. My first time going back into Swoozie since the reopening. I went in on a Sunday to buy some baby presents. While the selection is great for both baby boys and girls, the service was not friendly, The two girls really didn't much care if I was there or not. They were polite but I don't think wanted to be bothered. Another gentleman (seemed to be known, a regular?) got great service. So I know they can do it if they want. That kind of turned me off. In the future, I'll try to find it someplace else and use this as a last resort. I thought I loved this place, but the customer service was awful! After purchasing something to be ordered, I had to call to find out the product wasn't even being made anymore. Then when I called back to order a newer version, Carolyn was EXTREMELY condescending! Only when she had to ask me to repeat my last name 4 times, and then my card number 3 times (nerve-racking, I know) was she the least bit apologetic. Management said that this shouldn't be there and that they aren't running coupons on the app right now! I love Swoozie's, however, my experience at this location was not the best. I was looking to purchase a silver monogrammed necklace. The lady who came to help kind of had an attitude like I was bothering her. I told her that I'm curious as to the price of the silver monogrammed necklace. She said it was $334 and I expressed concerned about the ones they had on display as they were very tarnished. And she said well silver tarnishes rudely. I'm not sure why they would display tarnished jewelry for sale at $300+ dollars...I will gladly spend that money at a real jewelry store. read more

I often stop in this location for gifts and fun treats for my friends and myself. I treated myself to a monogrammed drinking cup for my birthday, however the person (short with long dark straight hair)who does that for this location could not have been ruder to me. She placed the monogram, it looked nothing like the sample, and when I told her it was unhappy, she could not have cared less. I shrugged it off (barely), and carried on with my birthday anyway. Especially since the other woman (sweet lady with sparkles in her hair) behind the counter work her buns off to make up for how rude the other lady had been. I recently returned for a purchase for one of my dearest friends. The same person who was rude previously was now working the counter. Never looked up to greet me. Never smiled-not ONCE. Never said 'thank you.' Just continuing to display that she hates her job and everyone who enters the doors. I would simply like to say that your store specializes in happy. It's unfortunate that one of your employees regularly works so hard to convey her UNHAPPINESS. Maybe she needs a hug. I don't know. But someone please give it to her or ask her to try. It's like a color explosion when you walk in! There is seriously a gift for everyone! Side note: I saw all the bad customer service reviews below but I've always had great service! And personally I hate to be bombarded with questions while I shop. It makes me super overwhelmed and flustered. I usually know what I'm going in for and prefer to be left alone or to a minimal of 1 question during my shopping experience. If I need help I simply go ask someone. It's pretty easy. The store is super easy to navigate and everything is sectioned off by theme! I usually go in for a few things and end up spending way more than I meant. I ordered cocktail napkins with custom printing. When I went to pick them up I was a little panicky because they did not turn out as anticipated and were difficult to read. The staff was extremely gracious and was happy to have them reprinted at no extra cost and expedited as I was running out of time. I really appreciate their response and desire to make me happy - that's what real customer service is about. And the new napkins turned out great. read more

I could spend all my money in this little shop. I say that because everything is so dang cute (but also because it is pretty pricey). However, if you are looking for a gift for someone - this is the perfect place! They have an awesome selection of themed gifts/decorations/cards for your big event (birthday/baby/football game/holidays/wedding/etc). If you don't have a party to plan, this place will make you want to host one (or wish someone was hosting one for you haha) - they have beautiful serving platter, cups, themed table clothes, and table sets to match (I'm talking chargers, linen napkins, etc.) I love this little place! I haven't tried their personalization services, that's not really my style - but I did buy a ton of things for my sister's baby shower. These aren't cheap dollar tree decorations. These are beautiful, well-made decorations that can last for more than one event. If your looking for a cheap party store, this isn't it. I have been a loyal Swoozies shopper for years, but the customer service at this location left me feeling like today was my last time in the store. Funny enough, they're celebrating customer appreciation day. The cashier asked if I had my loyalty info - I'm sure I have an account, but didn't feel like trying to match with correct phone number/email, etc, so I just said no. Meanwhile, I hear a lovely cashier checking out the guest beside me ask her if she'd like to shop anymore because "don't forget, it's customer appreciation day and everything is 20% off." OK, 2 things, 1) had anyone mentioned this to me, I could have done damage in the store, 2) I didn't get 20% off. When I asked about the 20% deal, the cashier indicated I'd not provided my info. Well had she mentioned I'd get 20% off, I feel confident I'd have taken the extra minute to track down my loyalty info. And why not use the 20% as a way to encourage someone to sign up if they're not already in your system? Bottom line, I've been coming here for 10 years...had countless invitations printed (even my wedding 9 years ago!), hundreds of beverage napkins purchased, and so on....the service here has left me feeling angry more often than not during my recent visits. No more, I can shop online or go to another retailer. Furthermore, the same cashier was quite unpleasant to another customer who was inquiring about wedding invitations - not sure customer service is the best fit for her. Overall, just disappointed to see a place I once loved continue to get worse and worse from a service aspect. read more

No one bothered to say hello or greet me when I walked into the store. With it being a Wednesday afternoon at 1p they weren't busy and one would think if there were 2 employees (one male/one female) setting up displays within 10 feet of the entrance on either side, one of them would have said hello or is there anything I can help you find. No they didn't. I proceeded to walk through the entire store for about 10 minutes and with other employees throughout the store no one said a word to me. Customer service is big and will make a difference if someone decides to purchase or not from your business. A simple hello is all. I saw several items I wanted to purchase but decided against it since they didn't appear to want my business. Also on my way out the store, the same employees were still doing the displays and guess they were still too busy to say thanks for coming in, did you find what you were looking for or even have a nice day. I came in to Swoozie's a few days ago to get a housewarming present for a friend. I have come here a few times but never seemed to get the customer service I want from a store, but I thought I would try one more time. A really sweet woman helped me find a gift, I thought finally great customer service, but when I went to the register to check out the older lady who works there (Ive seen every time Ive been there) was extremely rude. She couldn't find the price so she yelled to another sales associate to find it then got frustrated because the associate was busy helping another customer then the she walked off with the item about 5 minutes later she came back and finally checked me out. She asked me if it was needing to be gift wrapped and when I said yes she rolled her eyes. I'm not sure who this lady is but if she is the owner of Swoozie's they are not going to make it. I will never recommend going to this store just because of this one woman who works there. Her attitude is horrible and gives off a terrible vibe in the store. They will lose business because of her.
