Took some material to be made into a saree top -- gave them pictures of the exact top (covered back, 3/4 sleeve, round neck, closures in the back of the top). 3 weeks later, I came back and they gave me a top with a completely open back and closures in the front with stitching coming out. When I showed them the pictures and asked why they hadn't done it correctly, they had no answer; their tailor was nowhere to be found with the leftover material. Given this was for a wedding and we were leaving that day, I asked for a refund since this wasn't going to get fixed by them. They lied and said they couldn't get a hold of the owner or the tailor and that they'd call me but that I needed to text them with the information and the picture. They tried to get me to sign the pickup ticket in an attempt to have me say I was picking it up in good order which I refused to do. They never reached out to me after that to do anything about this issue. Needless to say; won't ever be getting alterations done here again nor will our family ever purchase clothing from them again. Global mall has a better selection, better sizing, and better tailors. read more

Terrible... they don't know how to do alterations properly. I told them it still wasn't fitting correctly and they said it was fine. Huge waste of money. I will have to pay another place to do the alterations correctly. They sold me a jewelry set and when I got home to open the pack I found that one earring was broken. They hot glued it back and hid it from me. I brought it back to the store and they told me I broke it myself. Don't waste your time. read more

The service was OK it was like they were forcing you to buy the saree so I end up getting a saree. I found out I'm not going to be able to use the selection. I had picked the value for it was OK the pricing was too high. I had call back two days after the purchase to see if I can do a return because I would not be able to use it anymore she said no, they don't do that. I feel like you should have a return policy at least 30 days this is unacceptable and I don't appreciate it. Mirage has an amazing showroom, abundantly stocked with gorgeous sarees, fabrics, and premade garments for men, women and children. I like their other bigger room location down the street. The prices are usually fair and I like their buy 1 50% off deals (Look...I'm brown and the aunty gene is catching up to me) I think they're doing great marketing with that altogether. However, make sure you understand these stores don't operate where you can actually return. No returns! Make a wise decision before purchasing just a tip to ladies! They have signs that prohibit haggling but they're always offering me lower prices without me asking hahah i'll take it! Staff were very helpful, and not judgmental at all. Helped me pick out matching accessories as well. Admittedly, their selection in my size is a little lacking (I'm 5'1" 130lb). They have a tailor who can alter things to fit, but there's only so much that they can do sometimes. I purchased an Anarkali here for my baby shower. My parents go to India every year and normally get me quality Indian clothes with the latest fashion, but they could not go this time because of COVID-19 and the Indian clothes that I already have would not fit me anymore. I knew I was going to get ripped off shopping for Indian clothes in the States, but I felt like I had no choice. The Anarkali that I bought was for 200 dollars, which they claimed was the 'best price,' and the stitching was not even aligned with some seams falling apart. I kind of expected this to happen, but once again I was desperate for something to wear for the event. My family from India said that the Anarkali that I bought would have sold for 70 dollars or less since the stitching is not perfect. Anyways, in the future I will try to find another Indian clothing store to shop at but I feel like I will have the similar experience of getting ripped off unfortunately. The staff was incredibly helpful in finding me 3 perfect outfits for a wedding especially as a plus size girl. From color to design to alterations, they had everything I wanted for my look. And the final product turned out AMAZING. I am so so pleased with how hardworking Farial, Salima, and Rizina were with finding me pieces that fit me best. They were so kind to let me come in 5 min before closing to pick out 2 more salwaar kameez that I needed last minute. The owner is a RACIST AND BIGOT. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Was about to purchase a dress for my mother, but upon closer inspection of the dress I noticed that the craftsmanship of the dress was extremely poor. So as a result I told the owner that I was not interested in the dress anymore. As I'm walking out the owner starts throwing racist insults at me and saying to go to Pakistan and buy it on the street there. Well number 1 I'm not from Pakistan, #2 I'm quite sure I'd find much better quality dresses and designs from there, #3 I don't have to buy your poor quality dress if it's not up to my standards. So obviously I gave him a piece of my mind and he then half heartedly apologizes and keeps on hurling insults at me. Mind you I'm 6'1 and about 200lbs, and this owner is 5'6 and a sloppy 135lbs soaking wet. Not sure why he thought it was appropriate to be a RACIST and insult me for deciding not to buy his shoddy dress. Funny thing is I told him prior that I'd come by tomorrow to look at more stuff. Do yourself a favor and DON'T BUY from here. They obviously don't care about customer service and think it's okay to be disrespectful to customers who want to spend money at their shop. Very poor quality. I purchased some jewelry that appeared to be beautiful fine pieces while in Mirage Sari. When I arrived home shortly after putting the belt on it fell apart and so did the anklet/footwear nor were two pairs of earrings wearable because the size of the stems are too big for pierced holes. I immediately returned the next day to find that Mirage doesn't stand behind their product nor customer service when it comes to addressing concerns. Instead they stand behind their no exchanges no returns policy even though their merchandise is shoddy. One example of their response is that they encourage people to try on the earrings in the store before buying them which is a very unhealthy practice that no one should follow. Not once did they mention that they may not fit because the size of the stem is too big. BEWARE although their items may look nice in the store once they get your money according to them they think the customer is stuck with the purchase! read more

I was searching for the perfect outfit for an upcoming wedding! I really had no clue where to begin, but the sales associate was SO incredibly helpful! She explained outfits, showed me multiple options and colors, and was so patient with me! really liked a khaftaan a friend of mine was wearing at a recent function so I went to Mirage Sarees looking for the outfit...couldn't find the exact same thing but purchased a variation of it in a different color...had tried it on at the store but the lining inside the khaftaan was a bit snug...they suggested using their alterations person but I opted to just make the purchase and use my seamstress...keep in mind I had to really rummage through their selection of khaftaans to find the right size and one that wasn't damaged as most of their outfits had slight imperfections...could be why there was a 30% off sign above that particular section...got home that night and noticed several spots on the khaftaan resembling an oily substance...called the next day and after being raked over the coals and instructed to email pics to them was finally told to bring the outfit back to the store for an exchange since they have a final sale policy...I live a good 30 miles away so I informed them I'd go there the next day as it was already close to 2pm and I had another engagement to attend that evening...what ensued the next day was reprehensible...the associate that I spoke to on the phone wasn't there but the staff was aware of the situation...store employee Kinari accused me of wearing the outfit and trying to return it even though she was at the store when I made the purchase two days prior and she had knowledge of the liner dilemma...naturally I was infuriated especially when I pointed out that the tags were still intact on the khaftaan...she went as far to suggest that because they were in the back I could've still worn the outfit...Kinari not only lacked customer skills but her entire demeanor was a complete turn off...she continued to argue with me about the khaftaan being worn...was FINALLY able to just exchange the damaged khaftaan (after several grueling minutes of being interrogated) for a different one and make my way out of there...I thought the customer is always supposed to be right...never ever again will I return to Mirage Sarees...aside from the unpleasant experience with Kinari the two or three staff members present were dismissive of my experience as they intervened between Kinari and myself...the owner is familiar with me so I asked for Kinari's name and suggested that I leave my name and number so that I could have a word with the owner...one of the associates advised me to "just let it go"...had to coax them into providing me with a piece of paper to jot my information down on...there's no doubt in my mind that the owner would never recieve my note or hear about Kinari'slavk of tact which is why I decided to write this review...Mirage Sarees does have quite a large selection of Indian outfits and accessories reasonably priced but I'm taking by business elsewhere...never ever again doing business at this place and weird how all of the reviews on the facebook page with low star ratings don't have an actual review read more
