While the coffee and treats are great, I feel a very positive spiritual presence here ... all is better by coming in.

I've been coming here for years and the quality and service has been consistent. The coffee is more popular for their specialty and seasonal lattes, rather than the coffee quality itself. I used to frequent this place while in college to study. Now I drop in every once in a while to try their new items out. Now to August they have a summer menu, from which we got the lemonade pie, cookie butter latte and tres leches latte. The tres leches latte was okay, it was just milky coffee which considering its tres leches seems about right. I preferred the cookie butter latte as it had a stronger taste of the flavoring. Although I will say we got two cookie butter lattes one with oatmilk one with regular milk and in the oatmilk one the cookie flavor was much more prominent so I would recommend getting oatmilk in it, if you decide to try it. The lemonade pie was really though, I always enjoy the baked goods they have. We went through the drive thru, and were the only ones in line at the time so we were greeted and serviced fairly quickly. read more

Came from out of town to try this coffee shop. We ordered 2 HOT lattes and a croissant to go. When our order was called the lattes and the croissant were both COLD. And we went back to ask if they could be warmed up, they offered to throw the lattes in the microwave or to remake them. Also, the lattes tasted burnt and did not have any flavor (we ordered with flavors). Very disappointed, will not be coming back. 1 star rating because I have to. read more

While in Houston we were looking for a good coffee place. I don't to Starbucks unless I am in a bind. My husband came across this cute little place around the area of our hotel in Pasadena. It's situated in a neighborhood and it looks like a regular house . It has plenty of parking and nice little tables to sit outside and plenty of seating inside. My husband ordered a vanilla latte and I went with what the barista suggested, it was a brown sugar drink and it was delicious!!!! Just what I needed. They also have lots of delicious pastries we ordered the coffee cake and it was so good. It was such a great little gem to find. If I am ever in that area I hope o can visit it again. read more

We love this little coffee shop! It's a fun change from the other more fast paced places. Every pastry we have tried has been delicious but the lemon poppyseed is a must. The drinks are always made with care and amazing. They do have a drive through but we always like to go inside for a bit. They offer outdoor seating which is perfect for a beautiful sunny day. Definitely get there early because their parking is limited and it always fills up quickly! The coffee and muffin were both mother-in-law approved so you know it's good! This is not where I usually go for coffee, but I need to come more often because it's a great place! I'm still trying to figure out my go to drink from here. I like iced coffee, but not all iced coffee is created equal. So far I prefer their hot coffees over the iced. The drinks aren't bad, but I need to find the one that I just love. Regardless of the coffee situation, here's what I love: The food - they get their food from the Pine Street Cafe (I think that's what it's called) right across the street, and it's delivered daily and fresh. The quiche - my goodness it's good. They run out fast though. They also have pastries, cookies, muffins, etc. as well as at least 1 vegan option. I don't tend to pay attention to the amount of vegan options. Anyways, everything I've eaten from there has been *chefs kiss* delicious. TRY THE QUICHE, but leave a slice for me. ;-) It's also nice that they have tables, and a little seating area with comfy chairs on one side. I often see people working on laptops, so it must be a good place for that as well, but I've never gone there to work. I just love the cozy home-like feeling. It's like you went to your friends house for coffee and quiche (because I always get the quiche lol). It's a great place to go for a little coffee date, chat with a friend or loved one... and there is a drive thru if you're in a hurry. It's a great place and they have another location too. Dropped by after enjoying brunch at Pine Street Cafe at Silver Sycamore because I wanted the full experience. LOVED this little cozy coffee shop and I'm jealous of the residents that live right across the street because how cool is that? You can walk over any time and enjoy the space, the hot coffee and walk right back over. The life. I order the Cinnamon Almond Delight hot and it was perfect for me. I don't like my coffee too sweet and it had the perfect amount of sweetness. Too good! My man ordered the special drink they were promoting: the Brown Sugar and Cinnamon Oatmilk Latte iced and he loved it as well. He enjoys his coffee sweeter so he requested 2 extra pumps of the good stuff to have it to his liking. The shop itself was packed, people with their laptops enjoying their hot brew. Typical coffee shop things, but the part that stood out the most was the sticky note wall designated for customers dreams and goals they'd like to achieve. What a great idea to bring the community together, loved that. Look forward to trying more items on the menu and maybe enjoying one of the books they have stacked on the fireplace. It'd been different if it was a "protein" or "Keto" one-then I'd understand to expect that. The staff wasn't very knowledgeable. I watched them both mess up orders (but w/e we are all human). They were t very personable. Kinda clueless rather and not the barista service I'd expect. I showed them several pictures of items from yelp and neither could make them. They didn't have any savory breakfast without pork. Food is good they just don't have a lot of variety. Pastries were tasty and affordable BUT you can't look at them up close. They have signs that said "do not touch" but they weren't in the best spots so it let to an awkward encounter. This is a little out of the way coffee shop that should not be overlooked. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is very laid back with historic pictures and motivational stickies on the wall. DEER PARK LOCATION- The atmosphere is super cute and quaint but the customer service is not great. We walked in and didn't get greeted. While we were waiting in line, another person walked in that the barista seemingly knew and she carried on a conversation with them before acknowledging us and taking our order. We went back up to the counter later to get another food item after our first order and was completely ignored by both staff members that were standing right there at the counter. Coffee was decent - we got the flight of iced coffee and the vanilla one was very bitter but the other flavors were okay. Will not be going back because of the customer service. read more
