It was about 15 minutes before they closed and when we arrived they were so kind and helpful. The service was quick and the price was great! The two ladies at the front desk were awesome and Ronnie and Mike as well. I wish I caught all their names but didn't. Everyone was friendly, even the 3 shop cats we hung out with while we waited they gave my son some entertainment. I am happy I cancelled my roadside assistance and got to experience Ronnie's. Less than 15 min on the road it starts hissing and bogging down. I stopped to look underneath the hood and truck. Oil sludge from the failed motor was left all over my frame and engine components and bolts etc. A coolant leak had coated the entire under side of my vehicle. Engine out of control in the high 2ks rpm and climbs in park. An indicator light flashing saying tighten gas cap keeps appearing. They had to remove my hood and hood hinge to pull the engine and now the hydraulics and hinge won't hold the hood open. I found the one hinge spring I had left laying down in my battery compartment. I immediately returned the vehicle so they could check it out. I let him know I'm only in town for a couple days. They took another week to look at it. I then received a work order via text stating that the hissing was an intake leak that the super glued back together. And the coolant leak was a loose clamp. Stayed that My old intake was destroyed and that they attempted to use the one that came with the used engine. When I dropped the truck off the second time I stated that if there's any parts that we needed that we didn't know about just call me and I would give him a credit card number They did not call. Just super glued my intake and pushed it out. I love this truck, I completely restored it. It blew a valve while traveling out of town. I had no choice but to let someone else touch it. I chose the wrong place. It looks like a complete mess under my hood and under my vehicle. Engine stumbles and studders. I'm afraid to lift my engine cover cause it may break my intake. This is ridiculous. One of the most stressful interaction of my life.

I called and was told the mechanic that was assigned to the vehicle was out of the shop. And would be back soon. Not wanting to rush the shop, I would drive by to see the truck not moved. It was kept in the lot After serving MONTHS of sitting, I call and wad told THEY HADN'T HAD TIME TO GET TO MY TRUCK. I waited another month and called informing them I would be picking up the truck. I didn't receive an explanation for the work not being done. I wonder if they felt I couldn't pay for the repairs. Or they thought I didn't live in Giddings, even though I have a Austin mail address.
