The two ladies at the front desk were awesome and Ronnie and Mike as well. I wish I caught all their names but didn't. Everyone was friendly, even the 3 shop cats we hung out with while we waited they gave my son some entertainment. I am happy I cancelled my roadside assistance and got to experience Ronnie's. I called and was told the mechanic that was assigned to the vehicle was out of the shop. And would be back soon. Not wanting to rush the shop, I would drive by to see the truck not moved. I paid $7000 for an engine swap. Wow that's high for an 07 5.3. It took 3 weeks to get it done. I…read moredrove back from out of state to pick it up. Less than 15 min on the road it starts hissing and bogging down. I stopped to look underneath the hood and truck. Oil sludge from the failed motor was left all over my frame and engine components and bolts etc. A coolant leak had coated the entire under side of my vehicle. Engine out of control in the high 2ks rpm and climbs in park. An indicator light flashing saying tighten gas cap keeps appearing. They had to remove my hood and hood hinge to pull the engine and now the hydraulics and hinge won't hold the hood open. I found the one hinge spring I had left laying down in my battery compartment. I immediately returned the vehicle so they could check it out. I let him know I'm only in town for a couple days. They took another week to look at it. I then received a work order via text stating that the hissing was an intake leak that the super glued back together. And the coolant leak was a loose clamp. Stayed that My old intake was destroyed and that they attempted to use the one that came with the used engine. When I dropped the truck off the second time I stated that if there's any parts that we needed that we didn't know about just call me and I would give him a credit card number They did not call. Just super glued my intake and pushed it out. I love this truck, I completely restored it. It blew a valve while traveling out of town. I had no choice but to let someone else touch it. I chose the wrong place. It looks like a complete mess under my hood and under my vehicle. Engine stumbles and studders. I'm afraid to lift my engine cover cause it may break my intake. This is ridiculous. One of the most stressful interaction of my life.

I brought my car to Ronnie's Tire & Automotive Center after Ronnie Caldwell told me he would…read morereplace one of my catalytic converters. Instead, he took it upon himself to cut out and steal BOTH of my catalytic converters without my knowledge or consent. Rather than installing proper replacement converters, he welded illegal straight piping in their place, which violates federal and state emissions laws. To make matters worse, during this hack job, he severely damaged my vehicle's oxygen sensors and electrical wiring. This unauthorized work caused immediate mechanical and sensor failure in my car. When I took my vehicle to another professional mechanic to find out why it was running so poorly, I was shocked to learn that both converters had been completely removed and replaced with straight pipe, causing extensive overall damage. Ronnie took my money, stole my parts, damaged my car, and left me with thousands of dollars in repair bills to fix what he ruined. He has continuously refused to refund my money or pay for the massive damage he caused. I am still actively fighting to get my money back. Save yourself the stress, money, and damage to your vehicle--stay far away from this shop.
