Sylvio's Traffic School was actually recommended to me by my mom who took lessons from them years ago, and even after searching online myself for other companies, Sylvio's always had the best prices, even according to my mom who took lessons 16 years ago from THE Sylvio, for just 10 dollars less per hour! 16 YEARS AGO!! I'm absolutely delighted with having had Ruben as my instructor. He knew my neighborhood and the ones around it like the back of his hand, knowing all the great places to practice the test material. Always very honest about how I was doing, and gave me all the best advice to improve my focus, concentrate on my position in the road, and even tips that would improve my test scores!!! I now have my license!!! After putting it off for years Ruben changed that in just 5 lessons, money well spent as an investment in my own future! I would do it again in a heartbeat, and my sister will be taking lessons from Sylvio's traffic school when she's ready! He was so thorough that by the time I took the test, I knew the exam EXACTLY! He did a lesson that was exclusively THE EXAM! I ws looking for a school for my grand daughter near Choral Gables. I interviewed 3 and not impressed. Then I went to Sylvio Driving and signed her up after meeting him and ooking at his style and program. This guy cares about teaching safe driving more than just getting the kid his license. He takes the extra time and is very clear about all aspects of driving. Sort of like what all schools should do right? anyway, she has her license and drives with intelligence and skill. She can even handle 95 at rush hour. Kudos to Sylvio's Driving School. What a school should be which most are not. read more

I found this school looked it up and asked around purchased 12 lessons, I was very nervous about learning to drive since I'm a New Yorker I didn't feel the need to learn until I moved to Miami, my instructor was Pedro he was heaven sent great person with lots of patience then Silvio gave me my last class before the test it was an amazing experience I felt very supported during the whole process and confident in my driving skills. I recently took driving classes with Sylvios Traffic School. Ruben was my instructor, and he was fantastic. I am a new driver, and having to learn how to drive in Miami was quite overwhelming to me. Ruben was understanding of this, and his presence was always calming to me. Even though he is new to the English language (I am not a Spanish speaker) he was great at teaching the "Art" of driving. Finally got around to writing a review. I'm so happy I can now drive a car. I've been putting off learning to drive as long as possible because I was intimidated by all the cars and speeds but thanks to Reuben I now feel 100% confident and comfortable in any type of traffic. I took classes with Valentino. I passed my written test, got my learner's permit, went outside and took a class for two hours... He literally told me everything that the driving test would include and we even did a simulation of it. It was excellent. I went back inside for my driving test and passed. They even let me use their own car! I took the test on the car I practiced with. Got my licence the same day and everything. This was a gift from God!!!! read more

His patient and calm demeanor were incredibly helpful particularly when I was anxious (like on highways). I am a new driver and I searched and have gone through some other driving schools but none of them were like Sylvio's driving school. Pedro was my instructor and he really tests you on quick thinking and makes you redo turns and everything for the driving test.
