My brother was looking for a work truck and I noticed a bunch in their lot. We scoped out the website first and found a few options that fit his specs and budget, so I was the "scout" that got to run over there and see things first-hand. Dave was super friendly - he gave me the straight-scoop on what he had, where they came from, and options (some had undercoating sprayed on them, etc). The trucks were in great shape - brought in from Arizona, and you could tell. Not a spot of rust anywhere. Clean as a whistle. The time came for my brother come see them in person and it didn't take long. We dealt with Jacob - also super friendly - and after a quick test drive, it was a done deal. About 20 minutes of paperwork and you're out. I'm impressed. That's the most I've ever trusted a car dealer, and I appreciated their honesty. Pricing there is pretty firm - they price to sell and aim for volume sales. You can try to dicker - we didn't, mostly because the truck was already nicely priced. I struck out trying to get Jacob to throw in their Corvette as a "finder's fee". Ah well. :) Next time I'm in need of a vehicle, I'll certainly check them out. I'd recommend others do the same!

Placed a call to Lodi Shell not expecting an answer but was incredibly surprised by the positive tone and urgency that Bryan responded. He was incredibly quick, took less than 20 minutes just as he provided as an ETA. He quickly used the battery pack to start car. After hearing we had over 100 miles to our next destination, he said he would be hesitant to drive that far due to possible damage to alternator. He said he would be happy to check if they had the correct battery. We followed him back to the shop in Lodi, he quickly found the correct battery and changed 100 times faster than I could have done it. Not only was Bryan an incredibly nice guy, he also talked about how he really liked working for the owner (don't hear that much nowadays) and the generous support the owner provided to the community. 100% recommend Lodi Shell! When we went in, we sat down with the creepiest salesman who just kept asking us if we were ready to buy a car today and we said, we just want to take it for a test drive and if we like it, we are ready to move as he just kept scribbling on his piece of paper. Then finally he said ok, I will get the keys...only to find out they sold the car that morning. Don't waste your time with this place.... I certainly won't.

I just hope they could return the TV's that they didn't give away for that little extra something in their pockets....that being said, I would return if ever in the market and they had what I wanted. UPDATE: NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE. Purchased a second vehicle from them and WILL NOT RETURN! Saw a couple things that needed taken care of and the service guy was all about "just making something work" instead of FIXING the items that the sales dude would be taken care of. Now keep in mind I've purchased 2 vehicles from them in a year and a half right. THE ONLY person that remembered me (including the owners) was the finance lady (she needs to find another job). The owners went from awesome to "whatever". WILL NOT RETURN, not looking for a butt kissing but don't need the 60's "we're loosing money on this one" BS. I'm shocked at the difference.

I bought a car that overheated 2 days later had to trade it for another car which luckily they were nice enough to do which they made sure to make me aware how generous they were for it. My boyfriend's truck has a shifting issue and was under warranty and we dropped it off to them to test drive and find the issue and they said they never saw the problem. Boyfriend's brother bought a truck from here and transmission went out 2 months later. Next my boyfriends dad bought a truck so over priced and it does not sounds correct, took advantage of him.
