The recreational lady was kind of strange asking if I want to go to church service. Thank god nurse practitioner said I was too sick to be there and sent me back to the hospital. Like another review mentioned the place was a nightmare for me too. They really need a new building it also looks like the last time they decorated/updated was 1970's.

My family member is diabetic and they did not know how to treat him. Only tested his blood sugars before meals. Countless times we had to tell them they would need to test it to determine if his number was high or low. My family member was there for some physical therapy which the staff never"pushed" a patient to do. I think some encouragement would've been helpful. If we needed to get a hold of the facility at times outside of business, you couldn't unless you contacted the local police to go over. My family and I had zero trust in his caregivers/nurses. Although one nurse and one physical therapist were extremely helpful and friendly, Meggi and Melissa. The nurses and caregivers seemed to be scared of their patients. Definitely try to duck out of rooms quickly. Many times when I was there alarms at the top of patient's rooms were going off for 10 to 20 minutes before a nurse went in there. This place was more of a nightmare than anything, definitely one of the worst experiences for our family.

This room made the perfect office with free wifi, an adjustable desk and a comfortable recliner. I found the majority of the doctors, nursed and staff I personally interacted with to be friendly, really nice and competent. The hospital also gave me a voucher for a coffee at the cafe, and I was very impressed with the coffee. So far, every time I've visited, they were either making popcorn for the residents, helping them shoot basketballs into hoops, and engaging in conversation with them. I feel my mother is much safer here, and better taken care of since it is a nursing home, and there are nurses, CNAs, and workers everywhere. I was told that they even buy little Christmas gifts for their residents. How thoughtful. I notice that my mom isn't as anxious at this facility than she was at the last home. I think because there are so many people everywhere, she isn't left in a quiet room by herself. There are 2 residents to a room. My mom's roommate just happens to be a woman who was with her at the last assisted living facility. So I'm thankful she's with someone she recognizes. The place may not look fancy, but they are well taken care of here and that is all that matters to my family and I.

The facility is very clean, the rooms are nice and roomy and we felt peace of mind that she was safe and well cared for which was priceless! She had Alzheimer's and was treated with care and respect. The staff was kind to the whole family and the volunteers treated us like family and were very dedicated to taking care of residents. We became very close to many of the staff and will be forever grateful to them. We visited multiple times/week and made a point of developing a relationship with staff and volunteers and letting them know how grateful we were and that we understood how hard they worked to care for residents. It's back breaking work, requires tireless patience and caring for patients that sometimes can be combative and even aggressive. Repeatedly, I would hear and see aides, nurses, and volunteers respond to this lovingly with understanding and patience. As we would acknowledge their efforts - like anyone - they appreciated that we recognized the commitment it takes to do this type of work and would respond "I love what I do." It showed! They put their heart, mind and body into their work. Letting them know that we appreciated them was easy for us and meant a lot to them. It goes a long way no matter what facility you place your loved one in. I can't recommend Tabor Hills enough. It gave us comfort and peace of mind during a very painful time in our family.

The business is in a strip mall, unassuming and doesn't pander to luxury. But my massage was in a quiet, well equipped room, dimly lit, and exceedingly comfortable. Therapeutic massage can touch deep along the spine and wake up nerves and muscles that don't want to unkink! It can hurt but in a masochistic, it'll make you better kind of way. My masseuse gradually worked the kinks out and repeatedly communicated about my comfort level. This is rejuvenating! Try it!

I have been to a number of chiropractors in my life and so have a strong basis from which to make comparisons. On one end of the spectrum you have clinics that throw a heating pad on your back, give you some adjustments and send you on your way all in less than 15 mins of treatment. Spinal Rehab is on the other end of the spectrum. My treatment has included soft tissue therapy, chiropractic adjustments, and (critically) instruction on exercises that will help correct the problem and keep it from coming back. This place is looking to get you healthy, so you can get back to what you want to do. They are not looking to keep you coming back for treatment for week after week. To me, that is the proof that they care about my health, because I'm sure it would be more profitable to have long-term customers who continually need adjustments.

Shoot I forgot his name) got my dad all set up on the device and Joe stayed with my dad for the duration of the trial, offering him support, observing his movements, and answering my dad's many questions. My dad LOVED the experience. He was able to walk PAIN-FREE without worrying about losing his balance, for a full 20 minutes. He was thrilled.
