They did not provide regular detailed invoices yet charged my mother's credit card continually. After a month an a half and after I discontinued their service, I questioned the billing and had to insist on a full accounting. It took a while to get this, but it turns out, she was over charged over $800. My mother was finally refunded this amount but I was never given an explanation nor an apology, so I have to conclude it was due to incompetency, lack of oversight, and/or possibly fraud.

I was supposed to be discharged on March 225, 2026. I was already packed and ready to go home. My son was there to pick me up. Then Case Manager Asley Felix came by and ibformed that she submitted an appeal to the insurance to extend my stay. I told her, I am ready to go and I am not waiting. She said just for a few days . I reiterated and made clear that I should not be charged staying there and waiting. I am aware that the approved of my stay ended on March 25, 2026 my waiting and staying there should not be charged to me. She said not to worry she'll take care of it. Ofcourse the appeal was dnied. and I left on the 31st of March. Before I left, I dropped by Ashleys office and reminded her that I am not to be charged. Later, I got a bill for $750. Went back and talked to Ashley asking her, what is this? Told her she made the assurance that there will be no bill. She said. She will take care of it.

This constant rotation is especially confusing for someone with dementia, and I've had to personally meet with each new caregiver to explain how to communicate with him and what activities he enjoys. Over the course of ten months, some caregivers were kind, while others were outright unkind. I saw no real signs of specialized dementia training. Often, during the three-hour visits we paid for, they would simply let him sleep rather than engaging him in meaningful activities. UPDATE: My father went into the hospital and I texted Amanda at 5:10pm to let them know he needs services canceled for SUNDAY. The business, Like Family Home Care, I was approached by the owner, Adam, who conducted an assessment of my home. He demonstrated exceptional attentiveness to my needs, which immediately impressed me. He was very experienced. I was subsequently assigned to five caregivers, with Kelsey being the most present. Kelsey is exceptionally caring and passionate about her work, prioritizing the well-being of her clients. She effectively assisted me with showering, dressing, mobility, and transfers. Kelsey gained valuable experience in cleaning and dressing my wound, as well as helping with my daily chores, including cooking, laundry, and cleaning my home. I highly recommend Kelsey. All the caregivers provided exceptional support throughout my recovery. Adam and Amber were particularly helpful in every situation.
