For the past 2 or 3 years my wife tried to convince me that we should try some type of camera system and I always told her I can do the work that the camera does. I had called Guy at Country Guard a year ago and talked about cameras and that's where it ended, finally in the fall of 2024 I made another call to Guy to talk cameras again, this time after a lengthy discussion I finally decided to purchase a system. My cameras arrived via the courier thanks to the mail strike, as I said I am not a techie person but I was able to set my cameras up in the house to make sure everything worked. Once everything was good and confirmed working I transferred everything outside to my calving corral and calving barn. We started calving on the 15th of January and have had some-30 plus wind chill weather which makes calving a little more difficult, but with the help of these cameras we are able to watch cows 24/7 and we literally do.The iPad is always on and focus on the calving cows we still go out and check the cows but the camera allows us not having to live with them in this weather. I am very happy with the cameras as far as the zoom capability and the range of motion that they allow. As far as support I have never had a problem with Country Guard if they do not answer the phone I will leave a message and I get a prompt response. My experience with Country Guard,the camera quality, and the support I have received has been very impressive and I highly recommend them to anyone considering a system they have to offer. And this is coming from a guy who was a technology nay sayer. Thanks again Country Guard for the helpful hand and I am already planning additional cameras to aid in heat detection of cows for AI ing in the spring.

Their behavior is dishonest and predatory. It feels like they're just hoping I'll give up or stop noticing the charges. This is not just bad business--it's a scam. If you're thinking about signing up with Fluent Alarm, don't do it. There are plenty of other security companies that won't continue to take your money long after you cancel. It felt like they were there to upsell or charge for basic assistance rather than actually help. Instead of guiding customers, they make you feel like you're inconveniencing them by asking basic questions. They told me yesterday that they will have a technician come out today and that technician cancelled on me very last minute, prompting my call back to them today. I have received several different explanations as to why there have been so many delays. I have never experienced such a terrible client experience. I have asked to cancel my service and they told me I would need to pay over $300 in fees if I want to do that- for a service I am currently not receiving. Unfortunately there is a lack of internet providers in my province and I am stuck with one of two terrible options. Telus should really reevaluate how they choose to do business.
