I like this place to get propane, boxes etc. I'm here every six weeks or so…read more I give it four stars because I have no frame of reference for a five star U-Haul. Unlike a Waffle House I don't know what a five star U-Haul looks like. Let me tell you about my experience today; Hurricane Irma is coming to visit and like what seems to have been half of Seminole FL I went to get my tank(s) filled. I stood in line for about 2 hours from 10am-ish to Noon in the rain and it was good, really good. The people in line were all great, dripping wet, storm bearing down and a long wait, all talking, laughing, visiting and being good Neighbors. The rain and weather made it actually pleasant to stand outside for two hours (gotta look for the blessings) normally the sun is trying to kill you. The tank I brought was capital M, capital T. Yes, Empty! It was out, replaced and sat in the shed for a couple of months. After standing in line it was filled with 4+ gallons and cost me $17.+, a bargain because an exchange is 23 with tax. That's why I come here to refill. Be it full, half or a quarter full you only pay for what you get, unlike exchange you pay regardless of how much you have in the tank already. I am driving by an hour before close and see there is almost NO line and I am like.... I wish I had waited! Given there is virtually no propane exchange in Pinellas Co. remaining I don't regret my wait this AM because; IF they ran out you have no idea when you might get more. Seeing there is no line I run home and get my tank that is currently in use and about 1/2 to 1/4 full and run it back down. As I'm standing in line I hear the employee give a total of $19 something to a gentleman. The guy goes to his car, returns and gives the employee a tip. I was thinking propane must have gone up since this morning because a tank was costing $2 more than what I paid. The next ladies total was $19.95, I remember because she was standing there hold a $20 bill and I thought that was lucky, it didn't go over. I place my partially full tank up, it's filled and the employee says it's $19.95...... that's more than my empty tank and this one was at least a 1/4 full. I looked at the meter but it was already back to 0. The employee asked if I would like a receipt and I answered yes. He said I would have to go inside to get it. I was paying cash and for a moment considered just giving him my $20 bill and going, it's been a long day of prepping but I was curious about how my 3/4 tank cost $2 more than my empty tank and since I had a receipt from this morning for comparison , I said I would go in. He did something on the handheld then said "are you sure you need a receipt?" When we got inside he was already behind the counter. Another employee had come out and asked for his help on an issue with a contract while I was standing at the pump and he told everyone he had to go inside so it was not a surprise he left people in line to come in and get me a receipt. When I got to the counter I asked if propane had gone up since this morning and he said he had made a mistake. He said when he refreshed the handheld it was a different total then what he said outside. He said he had told me the previous customers total which is true BTW. I know these guys have been banging it out ALL day but it struck me as odd that the last three folks were all the approximate same total and it was just under $20. My ACTUAL total for my tank was $13 which is what I paid inside while waiting for a receipt. Not saying anything was done intentionally, computers are computers and these guys are typically outstanding! After a long day like this I'm sure it was all a legitimate mistake but I want everyone to make sure they look at the meter at the pump and know the price per gallon is before paying. I'll be back without hesitation the level of service was amazing today despite the circumstances and it's normally spot on. I believe the mix up on my total was a legitimate mistake but the point remains you need to check it.

I got to U-Haul around 440pm 6/25/26 to get 2 propane tanks refilled but never got the help after…read more30 minutes of waiting even though there were 2 staff there. Will be my last time going to this U-Haul at 10440 Seminole Blvd, Seminole, FL 33778.

I had a very disappointing and costly experience with CarLocker. I stored my 2020 Audi A6 Allroad…read morethere for four weeks, and it came out with over $4,500 in damage. The car had just been purchased from Audi Sewickley, fully inspected by the dealership, and drove over 1,000 miles from Ohio to Florida with zero issues--no warning lights, no mechanical problems. When I dropped it off at CarLocker on May 8, everything was in perfect working order. Devin, a staff member at CarLocker, even drove the car himself and did not note any concerns. Fast forward to June 9 when I picked it up, Devin again drove the car and immediately commented on a dashboard warning light. Just hours later, while driving, the vehicle experienced a complete electrical failure and shut down in traffic. I had to call 911, and the police came to divert cars around me. Audi Clearwater diagnosed full failure of both the 12V and 48V batteries. Their service team stated this likely could've been prevented if the vehicle had been maintained properly, like keeping it on a battery charger, which is standard for long-term storage. I paid $4,364.96 for the battery replacements, plus $154.90 for towing totaling $4,519.86 out-of-pocket. I gave CarLocker the chance to make this right. Their response? Denial of responsibility and a claim that they only cover "gross negligence." Apparently, a car arriving in perfect shape and leaving with thousands in damage doesn't meet that bar. Whether it's gross negligence or just plain negligence, it's unacceptable. I expected better from a company trusted to care for high-end vehicles. I won't use CarLocker again, and I suggest others think twice.
