I was recommended by a friend after I spilled milk on my 2013 MacBook Pro and my expectations were far exceeded. He is easy to contact and responds very quickly. Very knowledgeable in that he knows what to look for and how to fix the problem and explained it to me so that I can prevent serious damage if there was another spill. Even though it was only a liquid spill, he cleaned the whole inside of dust and cleaned the keyboard to make sure it wasn't sticky. Try finding someone to fix a Surface Pro 3 broken screen in a timely manner at a fair price in San Diego? ?! They exist, but if you found this review, look no further as I had a positive experience. Just make sure to call ahead and schedule an appointment first! Monday (5/21/18) I broke my SP3 screen. Asked for quotes and turn around times and Slava was one of the few vendors qualified to fix my screen as many do not want to touch the fragile thin screens. He had a fair price, accepted Paypal, and credit card payments, and got back to me immediately! I dropped my screen off on Tuesday (5/22). Slava replaced my broken screen in 1 day and had great communication through text. Any time I called he answered and was very flexible. I picked it up on Wed (5/23), but did not get to really test it out until Friday or Saturday. That is when I realized that the battery was not being detected. I notified Slava of the issue and he said to bring it in so that he could repair it free of charge. Due to the Holiday weekend, I got it to him the following Tuesday. Unfortunately another issue arose after he was able to fix the battery issue. As a result, what was supposed to be a quick 15 minute fix turned into about 2 days. Some may be turned off from that fact, but I would rather the repair be thorough than quick. I appreciated that he ordered a brand new screen to replace the faulty new screen. All in all, I was able to keep my SP3 for under $300. A used SP3 is twice that and that does not include all of the time of having to format and install all of the programs. Thank you! read more

This guy Steve is someone is of true character. My computer was down. I couldn't even move the cursor and I needed some very important documents. He called me and over the phone he was able to troubleshoot my computer. OK. I strongly recommend Slava of SynerLogic. My MacBook Air 11 inch (2014) had vertical bars on the screen. I checked yelp and found SynerLogic. They have relatively little reviews, 29, but after carefully checked the recent ones, I decided to try. In other reviews, they call him Steve but I think Slava, who I met, is the same person. Slava seemed busy with many customers but could finish the work in two hours. I checked his work carefully and he did a really good job. Actually, I also have a problem in one of my USB ports. But Slava did some patch work when he found the issue, even I didn't tell him about it. So I could know he checks all the areas even his work was just for the screen. If I have any other issues, I'll definitely go to him for the repair. He's really good. read more
