Unfortunately I had to short-sell my home - what a NIGHTMARE!! Until I contacted Lilan and Fabi at Synoptic. I was working with a local realtor when BofA turned down a CASH offer that was almost full value of my home because the bank wanted $5k more. The people walked, the realtor rolled. The Synoptic team stepped in and patiently worked with the bank who couldn't care less if it sold or foreclosed. After 2 months of providing and re-providing information, the bank said "whoops, we lost all of the data you've input due to a glitch in our system. You'll have to submit it again!" I am not sure how others' experience with her, Lilian. I found her very unprofessional. I asked her help to put an offer for me for one of her listing properties. Two days after I put an offer, she asked me if I can offer more (~10-11K). I told her that's my highest offer and I am not willing to go any higher. She told me, they have people put higher offer and another one put the same offer as me with more down payment. Since I am not willing to go higher, she told me she would counter offer everyone, which was fine with me. So I was waiting for the counter offer but I received nothing. The next day (Thursday) which I was still waiting for counter offer, she gave me a call telling me that they decided to accept me offer (I wasn't able to answer my phone, so she left me a voice mail). When I called her back to confirm, she said she would call me tomorrow (Friday). So I was waiting for her phone call whole day, of course, she didn't call me back. I tried to reach her twice and left her msg, still no call back. Then I asked my boy friend to find her. He also left her voice mail. In the evening, she finally returned my boy friend's call, NOT ME. This time she told my bf that she received another two offers last night (Thursday), and both offers came in 10-11K more than my offer. She would like me to stop by her office to talk about the $$ again. I was like....I thought she has accepted my offer. How could she turn around and accepting other offers? My experience with her....she is not professional at all. On top of that, she is not honest what so ever. read more
