There is no Dr. Jiang, no Dr. there. He has been gone for 18 months, fake advertisement.

Run away. The staff is incompetent and lazy, and the physicians are late. The office smells like mold. Don't schedule even if you're referred, and spend time filling out forms due to surgery on the dominant hand. The staff knew this and directed me to complete the new patient packet. Upon arrival, I was handed more forms to sign. I reminded them of my condition with my hand to no avail. I was given forms and instructed to "just sign," ignoring the many blank lines on the four forms. I told them I wasn't uncomfortable signing and leaving the other lines blank. I was told I couldn't see the therapist unless I signed a medication form. I wanted to know how they could prescribe medication without diagnosing my symptoms. I'm confused by this policy. From the first when I couldn't find the office which was quite shabby to the care I received, this was a huge disappointment. I made a mistake handing my medication list to the front desk. The NP I saw never got it. Instead of stepping out to retrieve it, he asked me so many questions that actually looking at the list would have solved. He kept mixing oxicodone with hydrocodone with acetaminophen. Big difference. He then prescribed 4 times the original dose not realizing my weight and age. He barely took my history, didn't examine me and never looked me in the eyes. I am in excruciating pain but the first appointment was not until end of August. The wait time to see Dr. Jiang was in excess of a month, which had to be endured despite my crippling pain. My initial prescription was wildly inadequate for the level and frequency of pain I go through. I did not appreciate that the specific dosage was not discussed in the office, and I didn't find out the details until a week later, after I first passed their drug test. Once I found out the dosage was only once per day, I immediately messaged his staff that this would be inadequate. They were not receptive to my concern at all, and seemingly would not relay my concern to the doctor. After another month of agony, I spoke with the doctor over the phone. I told him how much medicine, and the frequency, best met my needs, to which he was receptive. This time the doctor prescribed exactly what I needed in order to get back on with my life. Dr. Jiang has proven to be a well educated, reasonable doctor. If you're experiencing as much pain as myself, make sure to discuss the exact dosage in-person with the doctor, as his staff will seemingly not relay him the message if the prescription is inadequate. The length of time I had to continue hurting inclines me to only leave 3 stars, but Dr. Jiang's willingness to work with me earned another star. If you have the resources available, I suggest trying to narrow down the most helpful medicine while waiting to see the doctor, so you can get a suitable script first try. ***Update: 2.5 months in, myself and Dr. Jiang have built enough of a relationship where I believe he's starting to trust me. We agreed on a solution that I thought would work for me. Unfortunately it hasn't met my expectations, but that is of no fault Dr. Jiang's, rather it points to the problems of opioid therapy. The doses that once were perfect, are no longer such. If you have opioid addiction problems, please seek help. It's out there. Dr. Jiang agreed to do our next appointment in 2 weeks rather than 4, which eased my mind, because I knew the dose we agreed to had the possibility of no longer working for me. So I look forward to our correspondence in a couple weeks. Until then I'll hang in there, with a newfound recognition that Dr. Jiang is on my side. Not to mention, the level of pain has gone down considerably since we've met. I think there are just some "kinks" to work out, so I'm not awoken in pain at 2 AM, while still appreciative enough to update Dr. Jiang from 4, to 5-stars. read more

I found Dr. Jiang to be very arrogant and not attentive. Dr. Jiang said that he had no intention of prescribing medicine for my pain and that his decision was based on his contract in some way. I was under the assumption there was Hippocratic oath where a doctor did what was best for the patient. My conclusion is that Dr. Jiang is untruthful about the contract statement, or he is unfaithful about his oath, this makes him a liar either way. Of course, I cannot get him to put that in writing, but I will get to the bottom of it. Arrogance is a weakness Dr. Jaing exhibits. read more

I'd like to start by saying I only came here because Regal Lakeside cancelled their contract with my current pain management doctor and this was my only option other than someone in Camarillo who had horrible reviews! This was a five star pain management facility. The doctor who had been there for years who was amazing and made a huge difference in my life was Dr.Kevin Jiang, amd for what ever reason he is gone and now only NP's are there to help they don't change medication, they are so screwed up that they they send out more bills and then charge on the my health website. You cannot get ahold of a doctor, when you call it is a answering service that has no clue how to look up anything or make an appointment. They all of a sudden stop prescribing meds without telling upfront. This was an outstanding pain management clinic until they lost the doctor. Do not go!!!! read more

Dr Jiang is a young doctor. He is nice, very attentive, and takes the time to listen to you. He greets you and shows care. It's easy to make appointments. The staff are friendly. The office is very small, doesn't look like a medical building, plenty of parking space. I would highly recommend this doctor :) read more

Dr. Kevin Jiang's office staff is nice. Dr. Jiang is nice also. My appointments were not what i expected. I am learning how he operates his office and schedules pain management on wednesdays. There was confusion, perhaps on my part, for appointment times and phone appoints vs. in-person appointments. His office does not use the "day prior" text message verification method. For example, your appointment is "date and time" text Y to confirm or N to cancel. So I called them to verify. His office did not make it clear that some appointments are by phone contributing and causing missed hours at work. Wednesday is for pain management and other days are for consultation I guess. IDK. I do not think i should go there again. read more

I was a bit hesitant when I pulled up and saw how old to the office building was. Same when I walked into the office. But my experience was that of an upscale facility that provided exceptional attention. The front desk staff was prompt and responsive. They did run about 20 minutes behind with a 9am appointment. Dr. Jiang came in, introduced himself and shook my hand. He proceeded to do a very thorough evaluation of all of my documentation and explained to me the results of the MRI he received. He appears to be an excellent physician and I'm looking forward to going back and receiving my 1st epidural for pain. I would highly recommend this practice for pain management. read more

Dr Jiang is AMAZING! He is caring and super professional, he will advise and think outside the box. I recommend him, especially if you're in pain and want a helpful ear. He is a DOER. The only thing I wasn't crazy about is the group: Synovation. The staff can be slow and unhelpful. You gotta be stern and give it time! Eventually they will come around but it's up to you to be in top of it! But trust when you get to him it will all be worth it. read more

Dr. Jiang is a wonderful, caring pain management doctor who listens and discusses options to help treat your pain issues. He was an advocate when I needed surgery and was originally denied by Blue Cross/Lakeside. I can't say enough good things about him. The only drawback is that it's not easy to speak to someone in his office. The phone is never answered and you have to leave a message. read more

Not the most glamorous building but Dr. Kevin Jiang is a great pain management doctor. He's very kind and attentive, you can tell he cares about his patients and he doesn't rush anyone through their visit which is huge when you're in chronic and debilitating pain and things are complicated. The front office I'd give 3 stars b/c the girl up there is not the friendliest and has been texting or doing something on her cell phone every time I've been there, but the guy that works there has always been nice and professional. read more
