In particular the chocolate milk non homogenized and no pasteurization was smooth, creamy, naturally sweet, and the cocoa flavor was just enough. We love horseradish and were disappointed to not find any in the cooler although the sign indicated it is made there. A very nice gentleman overheard us and came out with an armful of the horseradish curds and a few other items that were in little or no supply in the cooler. Clean and fresh everything dairy fills the cases and shelves. They also make a homemade beef stick in a multitude of flavors. I chose the pickle and the sweet chili which i later tried at home and found them to be less salty than the typical beef stick with good flavor. Now back to that horseradish curd. Suffice to say our mouths exploded with fresh horseradish flavor and warmth leaving a slight heat on the tongue without overpowering the cheese flavor. We both agreed this was the absolute best we have eaten over the years and vowed to buy no other. More flavors to try we will skip the stores where it can be found and return to the farm for the best of the best.

Almost everything is available to sample just ask. Horseradish cheese was creamy with just enough horseradish to not overpower the cheese. The olive and roasted pepper was one I'd never had or seen before and it was good. I also grabbed a bag of mixed chocolate covered coffee beans sooo good. My friend and I had done the cheese trail the year before and all in one day but had a blast. We never found Adirondack that day as we were directed to an old sub location in the Village of Clinton. We were to get a cooler bag in completion and mail in of our completed trail brochure and I had sent mine in with the explanation of what had taken place. I never received the bag but the owner had some in her stockroom and was so nice to give me one when I told her my plight! Can't wait bring my friend here now that I found it!!

I purchased the chocolate covered kettle chips and shared with the family. A couple of these chips go a LONG way and the pairing of sweet and salty is always a winning combination. I was dying to visit, because they offer cheese tastings, so I'll start my review by describing that experience! You walk up to the bar, tell them you want to do a cheese tasting, and they had you a ticket. Then you can walk to one of their two tasting areas (you'll see long tables with staff on one side and customers on the other, with lots of cloches with cheese under them) and get started on your tasting. You get to try 12 cheeses, and they give you a little tasting sheeting so you can rate and take notes on the cheeses. It only takes a few minutes, but it was fun and a great way to learn about their cheeses. If you're not into a cheese tasting or if you want more than just the tasting, they offer charcuterie boards, Finger Lakes wine, wine slushies, beers, cider, and non-alcoholic drinks. You can also buy a block of cheese and eat that, too! I did the cheese tasting (fun - and I liked most of the cheeses), and we shared a wine slushie as well. We arrived pretty close their closing time, but I was glad we had time to experience what Muranda has to offer! They have a shop in the back, where they sell their cheeses, wines, pottery, and other Finger Lakes products. There's also an amazing patio off the shop, with gorgeous views, rocking chairs, and tables. They host live music at this really cool stage above the bar. So you can eat cheese, have a drink, and listen to some live music in a beautiful barn? Sold. It's a fun time. And I recommend it between wine tastings or other activities you get up to in the Finger Lakes!
