First call, I find out my actual doctor doesn't even service the location I go to. Then the less than nice receptionist tells me I'm not able to make an appointment just in case it's outside of the 30 day range of my surgery. I could have easily called in and adjusted the date because my concern was I wouldn't be able to get an appointment in time. My guess was right. I called today to make said appointment and they have nothing. At any location. Nothing even with an RN or a PA. Additionally, at all the appointments I have had over the past two years I asked for a refill on my asthma inhaler and they kept forgetting to give it to me, so I'd call and they'd tell me I'd have to come back for another office visit just to get that so I'd end up paying another co pay for their forgetfulness. I'll take the hit of having to start over with a new primary care doctor. Go elsewhere because they simply don't care.

The initial nurse who took my vitals was rude. All the office staff is dismissive. I've had to call and wait on hold numerous times to get the results of a test I had to have done. Now, I'm from NY, but I don't think its too much to ask that the office staff treat people humanely. Once I finally got a hold of someone, I was berated about how she needs to do her job and that my call wasn't a priority. I also thought it was laughable that when I was exiting from my appointment, the one receptionist was trying to take care of something for me while the other one sat there looking at the Popeyes menu while the phone rang off the hook. Not to mention I didn't see the doctor until 50 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Though I would highly recommend him for his knowledge, I would not under any circumstances recommend Total Care Physicians since they do not employ professional office staff.

With a crazy work schedule (rotating nights/days at a hospital) I've had to reschedule an appointment or two. The most recent appointment was cancelled by the practice due to my PCP leaving. So having said that, I was met with one of the most inconsiderate encounters with Veronica, who I would assume is a front desk employee, over the phone while scheduling an appointment for the first time in over 1.5 years. Whenever scheduling appointments I have a sticky note handy to write the info down so this is a direct quote from Veronica: "well young lady you have cancelled three appointments and have no showed one so are you sure you are going to show up to this one?" *continues to go off on a tangent* If only I could convey her tone through this post you would understand my bewilderment. There have been no instances where I have "no showed" and quite frankly, you never know why people need to cancel appointments! Mind your business and keep your comments to yourself if it doesn't affect you! These are trying times with overworked/not enough physicians, which is the reason I have no where else to go at the moment. Encounters with just your front desk/scheduling staff can influence people to take their business elsewhere.

I have had zero luck finding a primary care physician in Bear and I am thrilled to find this practice! The office is clean and spacious. I was greeted promptly and taken back to an exam room very quickly after finishing my initial paper work. The doctor came in and did her assessment and I was completely blown away by how honest and personable Dr. Chaudhry was. She was extremely knowledgeable and I appreciated her saying she wouldn't prescribe any medication that she wouldn't give her children. She is very in-depth with her patients and leaves no stone unturned while asking the necessary questions to properly diagnose. I brought my daughter in the same day for a sick visit to be seen by her husband, pediatrician Dr. Nazar. He was equally wonderful and knowledgeable and I look forward to bringing her back to see him. There is nothing like bringing your child to a GREAT doctor. I'm very pleased. The entire experience was the best and most refreshing doctor experience I've ever had. I would absolutely recommend this practice to anyone who lives in New Castle County!

If you stop in for a referral for a specialist, be sure they do not provide you with an expired referral number. Also be sure they don't overcharge you if you have a copay. Know how much your copay is going in. COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR INSURANCE PROVIDER before stepping foot in here because again, they will schedule your appointment and wait until you arrive to tell you information is missing and you can't be seen. I will NEVER go here again. Our child was sick and this was the only place open. The only person…read morethat was nice was the front desk girl. We got home from work late to find that our son seemed extremely ill and we were worried. Get to Glasgow 15 minutes before closing time. The nurse in the back asked the girl up front if she had locked the door yet when she saw us standing there waiting to be helped. The front desk girl gave attitude back and said "I'm only one person." Then, we get back and the nurse and doctor are visibly upset about not being able to go home. The doctor easily became frustrated over or sick child being unhappy about a tongue depressor. We warned him that forcing one down our child's mouth would make him throw up. He looked at us like we were crazy. Well guess what.... our son threw up like we warned him. The nurse then tried to do a finger prick for a blood test. She didn't even wipe the blood coming out of his finger. Didn't clean him up. Didn't give us a band-aid to put on him either. So what happened? He had blood all over his hands and clothes and they seemed to act like that was acceptable. So after that he just didn't seem like he wanted to help at all. He said our son needed further tests and sent us to the Emergency Room. These people did not want to help us.
