A lovely chocolate shop with a wonderful variety on offer.
The fact that the shop is quite small and thus no centimeter is wasted and all the space is filled with chocolate from the floor to the ceiling gives this shop an additional charm - it's like a little chocolate lover's kingdom.
Variety: great - they stock both internationally renowned gourmet chocolates (Laboko, etc), but also a nice variety of Austrian brands and chocolates with nice Vienna or Austrian motives, so these make great gifts from your trip. (The chocolates that I bought had a 60% chocolate content and really tasted good, so you don't have to worry that a touristy motive on the chocolate is all you are paying for - the shop stocks chocolates which did not compromise on their quality).
Plus they don't only stock luxury chocolates - I went during Easter time, so there was also plenty of cute Easter chocolate for the kids, or regular chocolate bars and chocolate boxes to satisfy an everyday's sweet craving.
Price: quality chocolate obviously does not come for cheap, but I did not find the shop overpriced. The more common chocolate brands or Easter chocolates for kids were also reasonably priced.
Location: super convenient for adding this shop to your itinerary for browsing Vienna's city center. It's a couple of minutes walk away from the Schwedenplatz metro station, or you can reach it by foot in about 10 minutes from the St.Stephan's cathedral and square (while walking in the direction of the river) read more
