Ordered well done pizzas. For some reason they use cooked onions which were charred. I asked for a replacement because it was inedible and to please use raw onion instead of cooked. Replacement had the same burnt onions on it again. They are burning the onion on the flat top and then putting it on pizza. Management claimed it burns in oven, but why is nothing else burnt? Just onions! We order well done pizzas wherever we go, never had any of them looked like that. Do better, Tony would've never let that pizza leave the building. read more

So disappointed I got a grilled chicken salad an it had a pound of cheese on it, I was not even able to eat it not to say menu price was 8.99 and I asked her why she was charging me 10.99 she gave me an attitude and told me the prices changed I told her maybe you should update ur menu. Picked up a few slices for lunch here once, and was disappointed. Not the absolute worst pizza from a mom and pop shop I have ever eaten, because it was well-made pizza at least, but the sauce and cheese were just so bland. So it's a close second. It tasted like they use a no-salt version of everything because it had the form and texture of a well-made hand-tossed pizza and the flavor of frozen Ellios'. Sign in their window for the last 2 years it said that they were hiring full and part-time positions. I went there four or five different occasions gave my information and then was told they only hire authentic Italians. In town getting pizza. This place did not seem busy when we stopped in for pizza on a Sunday night. We took it to go. The pizza was hot which was very much so a plus and the cheese was very good. As for the crust it was very doughy and had quite a bit of flour on the back. And for the sauce it was very sweet! Not really my thing but the pizza was still alright. read more

I moved to the area just over a year ago and have been working my way through the local pizza joints. Tony's ranks up my list for carry out pies in the local market. This is small place and it looks like it's been here for a while. Tony looks like he's mastered what he does. Ready when I arrived, fits on the box, not over sauced, adequate toppings and cooked perfectly. Good flavor to cheese. Good value. No doughy middle, skimpy toppings, pies that are folded over to fit the box or 10 minute waits after calling in, all which have happened to me within 10 miles. I will be back. read more

I have recently moved to myerstown at the end of 2015 and have been looking for the go-to pizza place. This is not that place! Even though I don't believe they serve the best pizza, it is still a good pie. I have gotten pizza here about a half dozen times, and it is pretty consistent. If you like a sweeter sauce, this is your kind of place. I like a more rustic, robust, dare I say authentic sauce on my pizza. I have tried the cheese steak as well, considering I'm from the Philly area, let's just say, I will not be ordering that again. My favorite thing here is the hot wings. But really, how hard is it to mess up deep fried anything...their mild sauce is more like a butter sauce, but I like their hot sauce for their wings. They say it is a homemade recipe, to tell you the truth I don't care if it's out of a bottle! I have also tried the chicken fingers and fries...not horrible but not the best chicken fingers in town. Tony Roma Pizza is the best pizza shop in the Myerstown area hands down. Homemade sauce from the owner who makes it fresh everyday. The dough is hand made for each pizza not frozen like some places do. You can sit down and enjoy a slice and catch the game or pickup your pizza and go. Service was very Friendly and fast. Nothing special about the menu, typical pizzeria menu. I ordered a pie with green peppers and onions, taste was regular- crust was a little doughy.
