Made an appointment two weeks ago TWO WEEKS, ordered the parts, called to confirm Friday and hippy Skippy it gonna happen! 8am this morning we drop the truck off at the trailer shop, all is fine and dandy, said "yes sir Mr. K! Should be a 2hr 2 1/2 hr job at the most. Call ya when she's ready!" Alright alright! 1:45pm rolls around and still no phone call... Husband calls "hey there, Just checking on the status of my hitch."........." uuuuh...Sorry sir but we haven't gotten to it yet..." SAY WHAT!? "Well, we didn't think you would have the right parts so we sent both or techs to grand junction today" Dave explains to them this is unacceptable, and he needed this done TODAY. The guy on the other end got pissy and said that that wasn't HIS problem UH, YES THE F*** IT IS, SCOOTER!! Fast forward to 415pm and we drove down there, The truck has not moved from the spot he parked it at 8am!! He lost his ever lovin' mind!! BUT WAIT..THERE'S MORE! Pretty much told them that their company was as useless as tits on a goldfish, the manager said she'd keep the two techs that apparently have to hold hands and not get appointments done, and finish it tonight. Suuuure. As I'm turning off the highway...the call... "Uh sir, you still have the rails on from your other hitch and...well, the thing is...we just don't feel comfortable doing the job...so, guess you can come back and get your truck tonight. Rude service every time, wont take responsibility for their mistakes. Certainly no way to treat customers who a paying hundreds of dollars to you. OH, and we had to order the hitch ourselves!

We had a towing emergency when the rear leaf spring broke in half on our 16' cargo trailer. The…read moretrailer was towed to Speken Iron and Metal in Pueblo Colorado late in the afternoon. The owner of the company looked at our problem and was able to arrange the repair that same afternoon even though they already had a full schedule. They had a new leaf spring for our trailer in their inventory and were able to have it installed on the trailer within an hour. Speken Iron and Metal specializes in trailer repair and their work and professionalism show it. This company could have really taken advantage of our situation because we had to get the repair done in order to get back on the road. The cost for the repair including the new leaf spring was very reasonable and fair. We were treated like we were a long time customer. Even though I live about 180 miles away in Eastern Colorado, I will be taking all of my trailers to Speken Iron and Metal for repairs and maintenance. These guys are the guys to call when you need anything taken care of with your trailer. Thank you

We were very upfront and thorough with what was needed and what our expectations were. Very sloppy work - looks like a child did it. One of the main reasons for the reseal was a piece of tape had rippled up, and they did nothing to it before "resealing", therefore the issue remains. Shop extremely dark and full of pigeons. Pigeons tracks and s**t all over the roof, in the reseal material, pop-outs, vent covers, air conditioner, etc. Charged $1,700 for this job!????!!!! When I called to complain, all I was given was half hearted excuses by Mike. Can not say enough how much we would warn you away from this place.
