Chris who just so happens to be the owner Answered the phone when I called. He was patient with me and listened to my issued and even helped me try to problem solve over the phone. Unfortunately we couldn't figure out the issue and Chris was unable to get my trailer in the shop and returned to me by the time I had to leave (less than 5 days, which is totally understandable) but he did take even more of his time to allow me to head down to the shop and he spent some time trouble shooting with me in person and was able to isolate the issue to my trailer (big help as I wasn't sure if it was my car or trailer that was the issue) he even provided me with some advice on a temporary solution so I could use the trailer as needed! Aside from his 5 star customer service his entire property inside and out was clean, to me that speaks volumes in itself. I'd give more stars if I could read more

I would highly recommend Hickman Trailers to anyone needing trailer work. I was in town for a College Reunion and brought my triple axle Keystone Raptor along so the dogs could come too. While in town, I decided to have the axle bearings repacked and check the brakes for operation. I called and scheduled an appointment with Christy, I asked if they did tires as well and she recommended Rex Tires as they were the folks who did their family's tires. I was extremely happy with the work they did on my trailer, professional, courteous, and they didn't try to gouge me on cost. I have owned many trailers and had work done at some of the RV superstores, no one could touch the personal and honest work that was done at Hickman Trailers. Chris and Mike were very personable and answered all my questions. They suggested only work that needed to be done, not work that they wanted to do and wasn't necessary quite yet. These guys were great, I was concerned with one of the ratings I read on a previous post but found none of the problems stated to be true in my case. I would schedule another appointment with them for any and all trailer service and repair work necessary. In addition to their service, the time went by very quickly as they were great guys to talk with, they made the time much more enjoyable, their waiting area was clean and neat. Their recommendation of Rex Tires was spot on as well, please take my recommendation of their services. This business is amazing! They are first rate technicians who treated my wife with the utmost respect and courtesy. We took our pickup in for repair of faulty trailer wiring. They completed the repair same day, including searching the city for Nissan specific parts required to complete the job. Hickman Trailer installed a custom hitch on the rear of my 5th wheel to accommodate towing of my 4400lb boat in order to double Tow. The job that was done actually it was immaculate. I would not recommend HickMan Trailer because of how the owner Chris Moore treated me after I brought it to his attention that his company was very unprofessional in not providing any estimates or requesting any approval from me prior to making all repairs. (Read below for the details) Yesterday I took my pop-up to Hickman Trailer, and I was greeted with a very kind gentleman who listened to all my requests and offered suggestions that I would not have thought of on my own. We did discuss the fact that I would be getting a call later with the estimates prior to them proceeding with the repairs so that I could approve what all they find that needed repaired. This nice gentleman even wrote it on the job paper work to call me with quotes (this is in writing on there job paper work that I have today). I got my first call about 4 hours later from the owner Chris Moore and he said that my trailer was ready for pickup and here is what we did and here is what you owe. I was taken back, I told him that I never got a call for any estimates prior to them fixing everything. He stated that his salesman said that I said to proceed with everything and I needed no estimates. (even repairs for things that I didn't even know were wrong or even talked about). Chris then said that he would send me the invoice so that I can review it prior to paying, I received the invoice and proceeded to try and decipher their coding to understand what charge is for what, because when he told me on the phone all that they did it was like he was speed talking, so fast that I could not even note it all down, it felt like I was being hustled. Once I reviewed the invoice I called him back and again I said how disappointed that I was never called with estimates, but he again sided with what his salesman said about me not wanting any call prior to all the repairs known and unknown. He was very mater-of-fact during the whole call. He did offer to undo parts or even all repairs to my trailer so that I could take it to another shop. You could tell that he was very upset about me being disappointed that I never got an estimate call that they agreed to prior to me leaving the trailer there. So, feeling a bit overwhelmed that he was totally unapologetic, I just agreed and paid for the whole thing, again feeling very much bullied during this entire call. Even the nice lady that I spoke to two days before I brought it in said that they would review what needs to be fixed and then give me a call with estimates to get my approval prior to any work being done. After my emotions had called down for me to re-read the estimate/bill I noticed write there on the work order it said call with quotes, so I emailed Chris back and showed him that the paper work even said that, because he was certain that I made that whole thing up. Within that same email I asked for some sort of discount because of then never calling me with estimates like they said they would, and even fixing items that were never discussed without my knowledge or approval. He waited till today to respond to that email that I sent him 5 hours before I picked up my trailer. SO, when I went to pick up my trailer, they were there still in the office watching me hook up my trailer from the door, again, never coming out to apologize for their unprofessional misconduct, they even drove their cars around me to leave never saying anything. Today when I finally got his reply to my email he wrote: (cut and pasted) "This is beginning to not set right with me AT ALL. Yesterday I gave you the opportunity to treat your final call like an estimate and was more than happy to remove any item you didn't want and completely eat the cost on my side. You specifically stated "NO, I WOULD HAVE APPROVED THESE REPAIRS ANYWAYS" I'm not sure why a discount would be needed at this point except you want free money. " read more

this is the second time I had trouble with hickman trailers. I had them repack bearings on my trailer. After driving three hours I stopped for gas. The cap came off and grease and bearings were full of gravel from road construction. The first time they rewired my trailer and ranch hand ended up reworking it.Chris refunded $60.00 and told me I was no longer welcome that he refunded money to me the first time which HE DID NOT. They are not the same company since Chris bought them.I wouldn't take anything there again. There is other places to get work done a better prices.My fault for bringing it there two times read more

I needed some welding done to my ATV trailer. They called me the night before to remind me of the scheduled appointment and when I left the trailer they told me they would call me when ready to pick-up. Four hours later they did call.
