My gel removal and manicure were done quickly and well, and I'm pleased with the service I received. Unfortunately, when I was paying, a woman came in for an appointment with her licensed service dog and the staff would not let her dog in. Even when she explained her medical need and the law, they said the dog (a very chill long-haired retriever type, wearing the official harness) was "too scary". Gel pedicure and manicure. The salon is lovely and offers many options. However they only remove gel nail polish with a drill. I've gotten an infection from that. You can easily remove gel polish with acetone on a cotton ball wrapped with foil for 5-10 minutes. Comes right off without damaging your nail bed. However the staff are really nice, they do a great job otherwise. If you have thicker nails I would highly recommend. But if, like me, you have thin nails, go elsewhere. I really don't like doing this to businesses, but now after two broken nails, and the horrible service that I received, here we are. first time guest- I was getting a fill. They said they didn't know the product so they needed to do a removal and start over...she started cutting my nails, short and quickly. , she cut down all my natural nails, and barbarically flicked off anything that was left on my nubby of a nail By wedging a fake tip under what was still attached. While doing this I asked her To Stop several times ' can we please soak them?' she Acted Like I Was being dramatic. Her actions and carelessness created a deep tear and made me to Bleed. The owner told me it was my fault, they didn't give any discount for my busted finger, not even a simple 'sorry'. Besides all that, it's been two weeks, and two nails have snapped off. They provide TERRIBLE customer service. Firstly, they declined helping me with eyebrow wax because they "claimed" they burnt my eyebrow/ skin which never happened. This is absurd. If they really burnt my skin/ injured my eye, believe me I would REMEMBER this and NEVER return like I did today and filed a complaint on them. They did a price increase without saying so. Gel polish change was 25, today 30. Five dollars up charge is a huge jump. Maybe couple dollars but 5 is way over charged. I have my license, and gel polish and reg polish did not increase 5 dollars more. Either way they did not inform of the price change, i went to pay and I saw it was 30 and i questioned them. First time customer and scheduled an appointment. I booked Gel X nails and asked about the Gel X nails when I arrived. They asked to see my nails and said acrylic powder would be better. This was very odd and I stated I don't like the damage acrylics do to my nails and I prefer Gel X. When it was time to do my nails they started to put acrylic tips on and I had to stop them and restate that I wanted Gel X. At this point I was very annoyed that I was ignored. It felt like they weren't able to do Gel X. She switched to the Gel X process and I stopped her halfway to take them off as there were so many air bubbles in my nails. They stated my nails were "not right" for Gel X which is crazy because I've been getting Gel X done and have never been told that. I would've rather been told that they don't offer this service. I wish I can give this place Zero stars !! Came in here for long set acrylic she charged me 140 for nails & a 40 pedicure , I ended up paying 175 !! For every design she charges 15 each nail ! My friend and I have been coming to T & T for a few months now and have had generally great experiences. We both live outside of the neighborhood and even came out of our way every 4-6 weeks to patronize the business because we thought it was a great value for the quality of service. Unfortunately, we won't be returning after last night. We called ahead and made an appointment at 5:30 for both nails and toes. When we got there, there were four patrons and only two technicians, and it seemed like they were overbooked as they were in the middle of service for two patrons and two had yet to start service. When it was clear that the salon was understaffed and not going to take us on time, we tried to leave but they insisted that we stay and that others would come. While we were waiting, they wrapped our fingernails in the foil and acetone combo to remove the gel polish, which not only made it difficult to try leave again, but also was very rough on the skin of our hands. My friend's cuticles are now dry and swollen, and mine were cracking last night. That they made us sit for over 20 minutes with acetone-wrapped nails is unacceptable. Only one other nail technician came and the appointment still took a very long time and we were made to wait, when we were willing to leave and come back. The service itself felt rushed and sloppy. They kept leaving in the middle of removing polish or filing to go fix something else on one of the other patrons, and would either leave us there unfinished until they came back, or someone else would jump in. And this happened multiple times. The experience was very hectic and offputting. My nails were cut too short, filed unevenly, and the polish looks clumpy, and my toenails were filed so roughly that it hurt, yet they apparently weren't filed enough because I had to file down sharp and uneven edges myself last night once I got home. I completely understand how hard it is to be working right now, especially with places running while understaffed, but I'm so upset that they insisted we stay (we didn't want to make a scene and they were super insistent so we complied) even though we were willing to, and even told them that we would, reschedule for another night. And that, after making us wait, they still proceeded to give us sloppy and unprofessional service. Until now, I've had positive experiences at this salon and this was my go-to. I will not be returning--that's how negative last night's experience was. read more

T&T Nails And Spa has been around Greenwood for the last few weeks. I ended up coming here after waking up to my lower body feeling stiff from changing up my workout routine for the week. I figured I deserve a much-needed mani and pedi with all the progress I've made. When I walked in on a Saturday morning, I immediately felt relaxed. The place is minimalist, clean and zen. It's a nice change for the usual noise, crowds and lack of space I experience from my previous nail spots in Seattle. Kathy motioned me to a chair and so I hopped in, once I rolled up my leggings. She even offered me water or tea which is always a plus when nail spas offer that. One of my favorite things about T&T are their massage chairs. There are several settings to help you customize your massage, and I dig that the rollers do go low enough to hit my low back. I thought I was on cloud 9 until Kathy worked on my arms, shoulders, traps, feet and calves. I knock out for a little bit and my body felt so relaxed after my session here. As for the mani & pedi, I appreciate that Kathy was meticulous on shaping and polishing my nails to perfection. I also like that she focused on me, rather than trying to multi-task and work on in-coming clients. What is also included with a pedi is a paraffin wax, which leaves your feet feeling smooth and brand new. Minus tip, I paid $27 for my mani & pedi which is such a great deal. T&T has got themselves a regular client now! FYI: Currently, they are offering a couple of Grand Opening Specials: $5 off on pedis, shellac and full sets. read more

Cute little place tucked away in Greenwood. They were able to accommodate 5 of us (bridal party) with a few days' notice. We did a mix of pedi/manis, pedis, and shellac manis. Although it took a little longer due to there being only 2 of them, they did a wonderful job with each of us and we were impressed by the quality. Personally, I've paid more for lesser quality elsewhere...plus I haven't seen such a low price for a shellac for at least the past year! The facilities themselves are nothing fancy, but the chairs are comfy and they have water and tea for customers. I plan to come back the next time I'm needing shellac! read more

How disappointing.. I was wanting so badly to like this place because they're incredibly convenient to my house & yes their prices are cheap but so is the service. The conversation was friendly (why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1) but they rushed through my pedicure so quickly the lady didn't even put lotion on my heels. In their defense I did come in 30 minutes before closing but in my defense I called before going on and they had said they had time (another reason I'm giving 2 stars rather than 1).. whether they meant they could do a decent job in 30 minutes or that they would stay late to do a good job I did not care. They also didn't use liners in their foot baths which always bothers me, it's such an easy way to be way cleaner! The chemical smell as other reviews have mentioned was strong but at least it was warm enough for them to have true door open. They're always so nice. They do a really great job, have great attention to detail, and work quickly. They work with you on colors and what you want. My acrylic fill lasts me three weeks. Also important to note it's under new management!! They were originally by Tukwila and have recently taken over this place. Some of the nail techs are from California (if you know nails, Cali is good!) I've gotten several services here. Shellac pedicure, acrylic full set and fill, eyebrow tinting and waxing. Let me tell you I've gotten my brows done and have usually hated how they look and they did SUCH a good job on my brows when I got them done here. In terms of covid safety, they check your temp and have you use hand sanitizer when you first walk in as well as asking you to provide name and number for check in. Pedicure $19, it was a regular pedicure + paraffin wax and a foot massage. The staff is very friendly and the place was nice and clean, doesn't smell like a lot of chemicals like other salons.
