I went in to the new Northgate location to get a manicure and padicure. I was in and out quickly and very happy with the high quality service. the massage chairs are very good and powerful. it has a soft pink vibe with nice lighting. i can not recommend this place enough, such a lovely and kind couple that run the spa. The owners Kim & Khan are so attentive & kind. They will do anything to make sure you are satisfied. Love the wax, it's so warm and relaxing on hands & feet. I do dip & they remove the dip every time to keep my nails healthy. They do removal in a gentle way with remover & not yanking them off. The pedicure last for over a month. read more

Pedicure. Did a semi decent job with massage, but the nail polish was so thick it was streaked. The tops of my nails are white and the owner/service provider did not trim my cuticles, but painted over them instead. The place is filthy. Look at the bathroom and ceiling. Never going back! read more

Went in for the first time to get a gel pedicure .. went with the best VIP pedicure and I liked that they had pedicure kits with different scents .. I asked if they served drinks but they said water and coffee , I asked for coffee but never got it ... the guy did my pedicure and it was ok but he really didn't do a foot massage more like a leg massage and it just didn't feel like the best most expensive pedicure they offered.. the customer service was nice and nail salon is clean .. but the overall service and matching my paint job was average .. I may try them again for my manicure but my review is based solely on my pedicure .. I hope they do better next time if I do decide to try their VIP pedicure again . Decent prices and they were doing a 20% discount at that time For their grand opening .. it was $65 + for the vip pedicure , there are also other options which I probably should've just went with but I wanted to experience their best pedicure and just seemed average and they charge extra for removal of gel .. if your getting a service I would think they factor that in the price so that' wasn't a good factor and was told after I started my service .. I paid about $80 for the whole service. I still had to go home and clean and get my cuticles and he didn't really clean and cut my ingrown toenail so it hurt when I left .. read more

My new go-to spot!! I was searching up and down Yelp for an affordable yet quality spot. Kim immediately greeted me at the door while she was with her customer and Khan did my pedicure. I got a hot stone pedicure for $35 before the promo. He offered me a water and immediately started asking about my day and made me feel really comfortable. Walked in for a pre-vacation pedicure and discovered my new go-to nail place. *Amazingly* friendly and welcoming service, as well as a detail-oriented technician (the husband owner I believe). He worked with me on getting the 'look' I wanted, recommending a duo to get the color and shimmer I wanted, since there wasn't one single polish that quite worked. And that pedicure lasted - at the beach, no less - for 5 weeks (woulda been more but my little toes needed a cut and retouch). Wish I coulda transported back from the East Coast to Nice Nails instead of the average place I ended up. ANd their hours are longer than some other salons, which helped me immensely. I'm new to the North Seattle area and have been looking for a new nail salon and let me tell you this will be my new go to spot!! The service was just so amazing. The man who did my nails and helped me me, who also owns the business, Khanh, was just the sweetest guy to talk to you could tell he's a perfectionist, which when it comes to me and my nails, I love!!!! Please if you're in the Roosevelt area go to this nail salon they deserve your business and they deserve your tips too!!! The little nail salon was one of the cleanest ones I've seen in Seattle as well. I was telling him too when he finished up I always ask for a very simple nail, but for some reason that seems to be the hardest for nail technicians to make it look even and symmetrical. This was probably the best experience I've ever had in a nail salon. 10/10 would recommend and hope to see you there cause this is my new spot!!! Also a quick sidenote I can already tell that these nails aren't gonna come off within the first two weeks, for my nail girls when you know, you know. I went to this place for about a year and they seemed nice but now when I call they say they don't do acrylic nails - like a fill or redo or anything. Which is ironic since it's THEIR acrylics I need to redo. I've never worked with a nail place that has had so many fake nails break... I've actually NEVER had a fake nail break before this place. And since they tell me over the phone they don't do what I asked for (which I know is a lie) I went to another nail salon and when they went to remove & replace my acrylic nails we noticed Nice Nails must be been quick & dirty because I had browning under my nails after being this locations customer exclusively for almost a year. Not sure if it's the tools or materials or what but I've had fake nails on/off since I was 14 (I'm 24) and I dont keep fake constantly just during busy social times but I've never had broken nails ever before this place and definitely no browning. I went to this place because it was close to where I live, but I would never, ever suggest them... Please do not go to this place. read more

They always go the extra mile with back massage after treatment, wax hydrati, oils and hot stone massage on your shins for pedicures. I LOVE getting my nails done here- they look so beautiful afterwards. Husband and wife duo are so sweet and thorough in their work. Every step of the process is thoughtful and clearly very practiced. At the end, they oil up your hands, place them in hot wax and then dry them with a warm towel. Atmosphere is charming with pink walls, little alter at the front and picture of their adorable kids. If you're worried about COVID: you wash your hands right away when you get there. You both are masked up the whole time. There is plexi glass between you and the person doing your nails and when you leave they grab the door for you which is not only a good way to prevent the spreading of germs but feels very courteous. I have become a regular here now and Khanh and Kim are the sweetest pair working very hard during this pandemic to make their clients feel safe, welcome, and cared! Such a nice little nail salon! I've been nervous to try and find a good nail salon since I've moved to Seattle(it tends to be difficult finding your nail salon). All the photos on Yelp helped me decide - everyones nails look so good! Really nice nail technician, had her Covid certification right behind her and she slayed my dip manicure! particularly the shape which is usually my biggest let down! This was my first time at this nail salon, and it was such a great experience! Easy to book, nice and clean, and the husband and wife owners were very thorough. They had us wash our hands as soon as we got there, which I appreciated. The pedicure was great, nice leg massage and hot wax to smooth your feet. This was my first time having a manicure dip, and they had lots of color options. I appreciated how much time and care they took with each process. I have a bad habit of biting my nails, so I hope this will help! We were the only ones there and found out they had to let some staff go due to the pandemic closing them down for a bit. Right now it's only them two working, and they have owned it for 12 years. Hoping this post will help them get more business. It was a great experience with fair prices. I love having Nice Nails close to home! There are a lot of nail salons in the neighborhood but I keep coming back to Nice. It's friendly, spacious, and always do a great job! Pre-Covid times, they were steadily busy but still very accommodating for walk-ins. I'd definitely recommend an appointment during Covid since they're sanitizing between clients, keeping people apart, etc. The spa pedicure ($35) is so luxurious with a paraffin wax, hot stones & hot towels in addition to the standard. They don't rush, and always make sure to do thorough work! They have a punch card and offer a discount for cash! read more

First time getting powder dip. I requested powder dip ombré natural/ French. I'm so impressed by the professionalism, attention to detail, and kindness of the nail technician. She's an artist. Kim and Khan are fantastic! Kim did the dipping powder on my nails and removed the cuticles nicely and finished the experience with a wonderful wax treatment that made my hands feel so soft. Khan did my pedicure and it was one of the best I've had. He was thorough, took out an ingrown and scraped the dead skin from my feet, which not many people do well in my experience. The complete experience was fabulous and I will be coming back, additional they use sanitized equipment every time. Thank you both! read more

I've never felt so tense throughout the entire session, which I was hoping to be relaxing. She made comments as to why I had long nails before and told me never to do that "hard gel". I've also never got my nails dunked in a bowl of acetone before. It's usually wrapped so the smell isn't overwhelming? I've went back and forth about whether or not to write this review since I'm usually one to promote businesses! I am hoping it was just a bad day but I fear I won't be back as the energy of this particular tech was a lot/she seemed unhappy... I wish I could say it was good work but my nails and polish didn't even last a week, even with GEL!! :( Two nails broke and the paint peeled off. I was sad because this was my birthday nails lol. So to start off I called 2 days before to ask if they did either any type of gel on my natural…read morenails because I grew out my natural nails purposely becuae I didn't want to get acrylics. I also asked if they did Gel X. When I came in yesterday right off the bat my red flag was that they said they don't do gel x I'm not sure why that was a lie, after I was told they did. so I just chose to do gel since they said they could do that and I sat on the chair mind you they were rushing me. When I showed them a photo of what I wanted done they said okay and yhen cut my natural nails and when I told them that's not what I wanted they got bothered as well as they did some type of dip powder no color and not at all like the picture and since I pointed out it's not heat I wanted they then got upset again. There was 3 different girls working on my hands and toes so the shape also was not at all what I wanted. Very different on both hands. They then had to add a top to my nails since the lady cut them. Then when I requested square multiple times they kept rounding them and again I'd say something and they were upset. i was the last person to leave because they had to redo my whole nails I told them before they finished but they kept saying they knew what they were doing. And again the second time around bot at all what I asked for they definitely look like gum and thicker than my natural nails I have pretty petite and slim nail beds so the fact that they made them look wider it saddens me. Aside from that the did cut me multiple times and kept ignoring me I'm still bleeding from two spots. So anyways im never coming here again thanks.
