The sales associate told me the Black Bay 54 is "not a dive watch," which is just factually wrong. Then she tried to show me a TAG Heuer Solargraph. I asked whether it was a quartz movement. She said no, "it's solar." I clarified that I understood it was solar-powered, but asked whether the movement itself was quartz. She still said no. When I pointed out the ticking seconds hand, she insisted that just because the seconds hand ticks doesn't mean it's quartz. At that point, it was clear she did not know the watches she was selling. I don't expect every salesperson to be an expert, but if someone is going to speak confidently, the basic information should be correct. The whole interaction came across as rude, dismissive, and uninformed. I walked out and will not be returning.
