Located up Highway 65 in Ham Lake you will find Elevage Hospitality restaurant "T-Box". I have been to most of their sister restaurants (Roadside, Bricks, Oliver's, St Anthony Village Pub) and have always enjoyed them so definitely wanted to check this place out too. Very similar to the other places. Slightly more "upscale" if you will but not snuffy. Very casual and relaxed but also good for a date night. I sat at the bar and was greeted in an appropriate amount of time. The place wasn't too busy and the staff were mostly all congregated, talking amongst themselves. I ordered the Raspberry Habanero wings. I always see Mango Hab wings which are a personal favorite so I was full of joy to see a Raspberry option. The wings were nice sized. I think they could have been tossed in a touch more sauce and maybe cooked just a tad bit longer but they weren't bad. The flavor was delicious, however, lacked heat. The bartender actually made a comment about how I had not drank much of my water while eating such a spicy wing and I told her I didn't thing they were spicy at all. She seemed to be in shock by my comment. Either I have a high spice tolerance or this just wasn't a spicy batch. Heat levels are known to be inconsistent with peppers. But again, a very delicious flavor overall. I would absolutely go back. The menu consists mainly of burgers, pastas, and flatbreads. All of which I would like to try. read more

Stopped at T-Box to satisfy a burger craving. Arrived in the nick of time to get some happy hour drinks. I ordered a Tequila Sunrise and it was a perfect blend. One of the new menu items for the summer is the Lobster Stacker appetizer. Highly recommend, the flavors came together very nicely to create this delicious, shareable starter. The burger choice to satisfy the burger craving was The O.G, juicy lucy. The burger was cooked just right and lived up to expectations, juicy, sweet from the caramelized onions, and bun. Always a fan of the thin cut fries. I like to try new items and recommendations, so left it up to Arielle, our server, to pick for me. She picked her favorite item and one of the most popular on the menu, the Lemon Chicken Pasta. The flavors were fantastic and a great culmination of variety of ingredients. Bar menu was small however I'm sure the bartender would make off-menu drinks as well. Bartender had a great personality and was enjoyable. I had both kid their Old Fashioneds and both were good but I was a little put off to see they were pre-made and just poured over ice when ordered, maybe I'm just being picky but when paying $16 for a drink it's nice to watch it being hand crafted. Service & ambiance a good, comfortable space to hang (until your butt says it's time to go ( I guess there is fine line between wanting to turn tables quickly or sell a few more drinks). Staff very friendly & attentive. Their beer (tap) menu is pretty limited unless you like the hoppy pale ales & IPA's,(which I don't). As far as food, I can usually find something I like @ varying price points, my wife on the other hand doesn't like "spicy", she often disappointed at the limited options. Went for a book club holiday party. We had the party room and it was great. Loved that the tables were set up in a circle and we could easy talk as a group. Our server was so great. We came upon this place on our way up north via Highway 65. Delicious Juicy Lucy's. My husband had the October Chicken soup as his side. I went to T-Box for the first time for dinner on a Sunday night. I think it is probably the best restaurant in the area food quality wise. I'm willing to overlook the poor service we received given it was a sunday night and she might have been new, but I did take a star off for it until I have another chance to try this place again. The Food: We ordered the Steak Burger, Box Burger, and the guido pizza. I have to say that all the food was excellent, surprisingly so for a 'bar & grill' in a strip mall. The fries seemed to be housemade and were crispy and delicious, and the burger was cooked medium well at my request, without being overly charred, and was juicy and very tasty. The Box Burger, which is their juicy lucy, is heaped with toppings and the pizza was great. The portions were also very generous. We will be going back to try the steak which looked amazing and the fire baked cheese which has been recommended to me. The Service: Here is where this place went from 4 stars, to 3. The service was pretty terrible. The restaurant it pretty small and there were 2 servers and a bartendender. Our waitress forgot to put in our appetizer order in to the point that when we asked about it when our entrees came she didn't seem to even remember us ordering it. Annoying, but I was willing to overlook simple human error, we had her take the app off our bill and she made no attempt to make it up to us. She hardly checked in on us at all, our drinks sat empty for the entire meal until we finally were able to flag her down to ask for refills and I asked for a side of mayo. She forgot both of those things and only came back when we were done to ask if we wanted refills and to give us the check. Again I will emphasize it was not busy, and the restaurant isn't that big. Ambience: This place feels intimate and quaint, with only a few tables, some wooden booths, and a fireplace. I can definitely feel the vibe they are trying to put up - wine connoisseur with some steak place but intimate/romantic. read more

This unassuming restaurant in a strip mall is easily one of the best restaurants in the Ham Lake/Blaine area. It's small and cozy with incredible food and good service. Couple these items with the fact that my husband and I live about 5 minutes away and we have visited T-Box around a dozen times in the past 6 months. Our one regret is that we didn't find this gem right away when we moved to Ham Lake. Although a bit pricey, the quality ingredients that are used make the prices worthwhile. The one qualm I have is that a house salad used to come with an entree which just changed. Now you have to add an additional $4 to add a house salad which makes the overall value not quite as good as it was before. Below are some of the favorites of the things my husband and I have tried: Grass Fed Bison Tenderloin: This is far and away my favorite item on the T-Box menu. The bison is always a quality piece of meat and the white cheddar polenta cake is easily the best polenta I have ever had in my life. Do yourself a favor, and order it. Thick-Cut Ribeye: My husband always gets this and requests for it to be cooked pittsburgh style (rare in the middle, with a great char on the outside). The kitchen is always able to support this request and the red wine compound butter that comes on top of the ribeye makes it an incredibly rich dish. Sirloin Steak: The gorgonzola cream sauce that comes with this steak is a total winner and one of the reasons why I like it. Fire Cracker Shrimp: Although a little on the pricey side ($16 for 6 shrimp seems high), the dragon sauce combined with the habanero aioli are an absolutely incredible combo with a great kick. Truffled Fig and Bacon Woodstone Pizza: It looks like this item has changed on their menu and the new option is now with apple instead of fig, but the old fig option was absolutely sinful. It was perhaps the best pizza I have ever had in my life with subtle truffle flavors combined with fig, onions, gorgonzola and pancetta - a total winner! All in all,my husband and I will keep returning to T-Box. We actually had the pleasure of eating here on Valentine's day and got to try out their special steakhouse menu which was fantastic as well. If you live up in this area, or you don't, you should definitely try T-Box out! read more

A friend and I decided to stop in for lunch, my friend had been here before, he said they had great food. I was a little skeptical since I had never seen or heard of the place before. I ordered the brisket sandwich with hand cut fries. The sandwich was amazing and the fires were great as well. Very nicely decorated small restaurant and bar. We visited Wednesday night and at 7 PM it was full. Noise level was low so we could talk. The waitress was knowledgeable and nice. We started with an appetizer burnt cheese on flatbread. Comes in a little crock pot you spoon on the bread. Very nice. I had the scallops with cauliflower purée and Brussels sprouts. 4 scallops were done to perfection. The cauliflower and Brussels sprouts were excellent. Warning if you're a big eater not very many cauliflowers or sprouts have their lives for my meal. Beer selection was good and happy hour excellent. The had a red ale from Alaska. My partner had shrimp scampi negro and I got a taste and also wonderful. Bigger portion than mine. Only reason not 5 stars was the portion size. For some it would be perfect. read more

I've been wanting to try this place since they opened. Just stopped in on a Wednesday night, besides us, 3 people in the place. Got a menu expecting steaks. And they have a $36 steak and a $30 steak and i guess burgers for $20. Left without trying anything. The staff was friendly. Silly me, I was just expecting a T-bone or any other steak at a reasonable price. I guess I'll just go to Texas Roadhouse from now on for great steak at Great prices. read more
