The crew (2 men) knew their job and made sure the fence was straight and exactly where we wanted it. All posts were cemented in. They cleaned the fence when finished. They cleaned up the property as if they were never there. We highly recommend Amazing Garden snd Construction.

It started off pleasant and went relatively well until the end. And the aftermath. Here are all the things that they did to destroy my property while redoing my patio. Their Electrician isn't skilled enough in outdoor lighting and screwed up. the entire system told me I had to run a whole new line for $10,000 when I didn't. He even left it unfinished with wires hanging everywhere and it was mostly unusable. I had to spend $10,000 again to get it repaired shout out to Apollo outdoor lighting they're amazing. The irrigation they shut off the zone that was surrounding my patio even though I still have things that need to be watered there and they ran over another zone, therefore destroying my irrigation system to the point where the irrigation company had to run all new lines for those two zones... another 4K down the drain. They also destroyed the landscaping in one of those zones by driving over it without any concern for my landscaping. The grout that they used in between the patio stones easily gets pressure washed out. Picture included. And lastly, they destroyed my fence. They took it apart, and when they put it back together again, it looked like a child had done it with screws folded over all over the place. Picture included. And the two fence doors I have both now are in a leaning position so you can't barely open and close them. These are the kind of people who are really nice to your face, but they don't manage their construction site as well. They leave a mess and you don't want that you want a contractor that does a good job of cleaning up after themselves. I do not recommend these guys.

The other reviews on this page are fake and his company, despite what he will tell you, does not have 31 years of experience in masonry. It is clear he has no experience doing masonry work or managing a business. We hired him to install a concrete pad and a patio at our home after a pleasant quoting experience. Unfortunately, he took advantage of us and in the end, he left our yard far worse that when it started. I could write ten pages of all the problems we've had with this guy and his company but here are the highlights: His ragtag crew of disgruntled workers worked at a snail's pace over the week his team was at our home. They showed up hours later than expected every day and sat around frequently. Pat was only partially present at the job and it became clear he was not communicating with the team actually doing the work because we had to constantly remind them of the details we had discussed with Pat. His crew argued constantly with each other and him. They destroyed our deck in the process of installing the concrete pad and piled tons and tons of dirt, rocks, concrete, and construction debris on the majority of our lawn. We were extremely patient and gave him the benefit of the doubt as he kept making promises that "we would be so happy in the end" and "that the job would be done right." No such luck. After the job took longer than expected, he demanded more money and left us with thousands of dollars of damage to our deck, yard, and many truckloads of debris to remove ourselves. When his workers left for the weekend, we found beer cans buried in our flower beds, whiskey nips and hundreds of cigarette butts strewn about the yard, many screws and rusty nails, and even a bag of human feces hidden in our bushes. I should have taken it as a huge red flag when Pat and his crew began panicking at the sight of a car of one of our neighbor's that resembled an unmarked police vehicle, unfortunately we'd already paid him a good deal for the work and so we were hopeful we would still get the job completed. He claims to be fully bonded and insured and offers an official looking contract and impressive 7 year warranty, but please don't be fooled- his phone number is unlisted, his website is pretty but just newly created, and his address links to a UPS Store. He does not have a legitimate bank account and will immediately cash any checks you give him. He was verbally abusive, sexist, and manipulative and refused to return to finish the job he started.

My neighbor found him online and mistakenly called him for a masonry job rebuilding a wall. He saw me and suggested I should have my stone foundation repointed. Pat, the "owner" of this company that he claimed was founded by his grandfather in the 70's.... He is not a mason, but an accomplished scam artist. The job his workers did (on a day way too cold for concrete), was very unprofessional. I expect I would have to pay as much to another mason or more to fix the job. He conned me into paying him the full amount before they were supposed to return to clean up the job and apply a sealant. He needed to go to a check casher to have the check cashed and had hoped I'd pay him cash. He never returned, after assuring me he would and reminding me of the "7 year warranty". His glossy "business card" and website are slick but totally phony. I feel bad for his workers

Quality Excellent Appeal Excellent…read more Service Excellent As a new coastal home-owner, we contacted Shade & Shutter Systems to learn more about what products were available to protect our home. Our call was returned immediately and Paul Craig, owner of the company, provided exceptional detail about the various products and their benefits / drawbacks. We scheduled a site visit; Paul showed up right on time with samples and guided us through the various applications. We selected the VueSafe product. Paul indicated a 2-week lead time... but as Hurricane Sandy approached Paul contacted us on Saturday morning to let us know they had accelerated production and an installer would be on-site that day. The installer, Ed, was prompt, courteous and diligent throughout the installation process. We couldn't be happier. The product is up and already we feel more secure. Many thanks to the entire Shade & Shutter System's team for exceptional customer service and rapid response during an emergency situation.

We selected the electric controlled roll shutter product. From our initial contact with Steve through frequent contact with the project foreman and wonderful installers, the project couldn't have gone better. The local showroom displays all the products to view, and the custom installation looks great. The shutters also seem to be excellent quality. Before the order was sent to the factory, the installers came out to review it to make sure of any special challenges or material that would be required. After installation, which they worked around our schedules, they were careful to explain proper use and maintenance as well. It is obvious that this company takes great pride in their business, and realize that customer service and recommendations mean everything. We are very pleased, and look forward to the shutter protection during storm season.
