On the day of the job, Rudy and Marlin worked tirelessly for 3 1/2 hours and got a tremendous amount done - trimming multiple hedges and bushes, cutting back an almost dead lilac, power washing the patio (it looks as good as it did 15 years ago when it was installed), cleaning moss, etc. off the garage roof (hadn't been cleaned since I got the house 30+ years ago), cutting up and removing a fallen branch, and power washing a basketball backboard that I wasn't even sure could be reached. I then said that i would like them to come back and mow the lawn. When the grass started to grow and the lawn was not mowed, I realized that maybe we did not exactly have a meeting of the minds. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. So I called and left a message, they called back on a Friday said they would be there Monday. No one came, however I gave them the benefit of the doubt again, given the rainy days of late and they likely were overbooked. I figured then they would come on Tuesday, the lawn would be done as the lawn is now overgrown. No one came. I called late Tuesday and left a message that I wished they had told me they were not accepting my job, I would have begun my search all over again.
