Hands down one of my favorite TJM stores in the area. This location moved from the mall across the street in the last few years, and I love it even more. It's bigger and paled with lots of goods. I shop here often for home decor, clothes and beauty items. Most recently I was searching for Joico shampoo and knew I would find it here. I was right. Found that and $100 more worth of stuff I didn't need. But they have so many brand name items at a nice discount. I even found a cute chunky necklace for $16. The line here can get pretty long but it moves very fast. I barely waited 20 minutes and they only had about 4 registers open. Much quicker than the Huntersville store in that regard. Since the store gets pretty packed it can be hard to snag a cart, so just know that and grab one in the parking lot if you see it.

This store has a crazy amount of merchandise to choose from. The store is well organized into departments with every aisle and shelf stocked with cool items at great prices. The clothing section is filled with name brand fashions. They have casual clothes, dress clothes, workout clothing, golf wear. They also offer changing rooms. They have shoes. It took about thirty minutes to totally peruse the store. I wound up walking out with a table runner and a set of cloth napkins. I found a few more things that I plan to go back for. They make the checkout process a breeze. They had plenty of registers open. The cashiers were friendly. I can't wait to go back.

What a great store. Been waiting for the Home Goods/T J Maxx store to come to Concord. The store is so fresh and alive. I love the layout and the presentation of everything. The price point are fair and they gave many options to choose from. The dressing rooms are clean as is the restrooms. It's a store I hope will be here for many years to come.

She was absolutely amazing and didn't seemed annoyed as my best friend and I went back and forth trying to pay each other's total.

I visited TJ max this week to shop for holiday gifts and browse the store. I hadn't visited a TJ Max any during the pandemic. The store was busy and had various great finds from fashion fragrances and home decor. The employees and shoppers were nice. I think that I visited every department but managed to spend kist under $100!! My customer service experience at checkout was phenomenal especially for retail. The line was long but moving. When I approached Charlene she was super welcoming, bubbly and professional. Charlene made me feel like I was the only customer in the store. I appreciate her great attitude and I will visit the store more often because of her! Thanks.

Stopped in TJMaxx yesterday; the store was filled with great deals and lots of customers. It was clean and spacious, and home goods is combined (which I loved.) I saved on items that I would have paid full price for in a traditional luxury department store. The cashier was probably the only interaction I experienced where there wasn't any true engagement (outside of her just asking me to sign up for a TJMaxx card.) 4.5/5~ Tiffany

Probably one of the BEST TJ/Maxx Home goods in the area!!!! So I've been to a few Homegoods/ TJ Maxx locations and I have to say I really like this location. When you first walk in- you notice that this store is HUGE! They have all of the typical sections (luggage, pocketbooks, men's/ women's section, make up etc). What made this store stand out to me is that both stores were very CLEAN! I didn't see any hangers out of place, the sections were very tidy. On top of that, there was a very good selection of different products. Home goods had "pet, office, bathroom, kitchen, Living room, kids rooms- you name it! Don't get me wrong, the other stores had this as well but there was more products to choose from and the prices were reasonable! Last but not least (icing on the cake) the person at the door (young man) greeted EVERYONE walking out. This is HUGE to me because stores don't realize the value of a greeting to your customers ESPECIALLY in a pandemic when people are already missing the human element of interaction (waves hand!). Overall- I was highly impressed and will definitely be back.

The line is always so long - doesn't seem like cashiers are in a hurry to move the line along. The selection is not the best. Lots of empty shelves.

    Yep, they got furniture!

Am I the last person on the face of the earth to venture into TJ Maxx? If not I have to tell you few who haven't been blessed with a trip to the store that this place is wacky and wonderful! Never in my life have I ever seen such a random assortment of furniture/jewelry/cosmetics/and kick knacks, there's something for everyone here! So first things first: it's inside Concord Mills. Parking is going to suck, the lines at checkout will probably be long and you're going to have to lug around all your new stuff you bought here that you didn't even know you needed. Can you really blame the store for this? Well, yeah a little bit... but you gotta take the good with the bad at Mills. So on to the store itself. They have aisles of canvas artwork in the corner for super cheap prices. A whole section of LAMPS, yes lamps! There are rows of cheap yet decent quality furniture pieces and a few even caught my eye. Keep in mind that stuff like furniture looks to be more of one time in-and-out items, instead of regularly carrying a set selection of chairs, ottomans, tables, etc. When you see a loveseat you really like but decide to hold off, don't be surprised when it's gone next visit! One more very specific find: A section of glass vases that go from the floor to a height of about five feet. What? Why? I don't know, but I kinda want one. So the store is half practical and half non-essential homegoods, and I didn't even get to the clothing. I'll make sure to venture into TJ Maxx more often and try not to go into financial ruin by buying everything interesting!

I guess the Yelp pages got merged after the move? Anyhow this review is for the new T.J. Maxx / Home Goods across from Concord Mills Mall (In the old ToysRUs building). A shiny new building with plenty of room inside and a parking lot with tons of room outside add a fresh coat of paint onto what is otherwise a nice but unsurprising experience. TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Marshalls, Ross and even Burlington coat factory are all a very specific style of store. That being, nicer clothes at a slightly more reasonable price, with a dash of home decor thrown in. What this new location does better than most is allow for an almost 50/50 split between the clothing and household items. The Home Goods branded side is all dishes, bath towels, kitchenware and holiday decorations while the TJ Maxx side is clothes, outerwear, sports wear and even some shoes. Despite the way the store is "split" its really all one thing. There is a dividing wall of sorts inside, but its open in more than one spot and you're free to shop both halves. Everyone goes to the same registers too. I'd be curious what the new floor plan actually looks like including the stock areas. There is quite a lot packed into the space available, but having seen how massive this building was as ToysRUs before the remodel it somehow feels smaller now. Just an observation. All in all not a bad store. Some of the same problems of other TJ Maxx locations persist, like far too few cashiers despite nearly a dozen registers, but that's retail some times. I've found everything from nice workout gear to amazing bath towels here before so its definitely worth the occasional visit. (both my wife and sister in law love looking through the kitchen section for goodies to bring home too.) If you go in knowing what to expect you may be pleasantly surprised.

I even promised my mom that one day when I was engaged we would at least stop in to look at the dresses. Lo and behold, about ten years later we wander in a few months after I got engaged to try on some dresses, just to get a sense of the styles I liked. I was honestly amazed with the quality and design of the dresses for the prices. The staff was sweet and accommodating, and did their best to make me feel special, which again surprised me for such a large chain store. I went to multiple boutique dress shops before and after my visit here, but nothing could top the mermaid gown with a plunging illusion neckline I had found. A few months later, after running into multiple issues with the online store and running the risk of not being able to find the dress, I contacted this store again. They were incredibly helpful and continuously accommodating - they found the floor gown I had originally tried on, held it for me, and even sold it at a discounted price due to a torn seam we'd discovered. Suffice to say, I found my wedding dress and I could not be happier!

My daughter never asked for a gala dress. She wanted a gown with tulle for a photoshoot. She spoke on the phone with the owner and was not explained how things went during the consult. When we arrived at the store she talked to the owner and expressed concerns about the heat in the mall and about the style of dresses at the store. During this conversation my daughter, once again was not told how the consult is conducted. When my daughter approached me at the store, she was confused and a bit overwhelmed by her conversation with the owner. I walked over to the first person I saw, thinking she was a sales lady. I asked her if she could explain to us how the consult works because it was our first time and we weren't clear about it. First thing she said to me was, "First of all, she doesn't even want to be here!", pointing at my daughter. I thought for a second this poor lady was confused because she seemed upset at my daughter for telling her about her concerns regarding the dress styles at the store. My daughter approached and started tearing up. I looked at the lady and said, "Oh no, she's now crying. You need to be more sensitive to your customers". In the Yelp response the owner says I was screaming at her and getting on her face, but the only thing I did was challenge her customer service, without once raising my voice. I had my earbuds in because I was listening to Nat King Cole. Who can ever get angry while listening to such wonderful talent? The lady then looked down at me and said, "Who do you think you are?!", I was shocked and asked to speak to the manager. At this she bent down to my level, to speak down to me and continued to ask, "WHO do you think you are?" I'm 51 years old and 5 feet, I have never in my life have been spoken to in this manner. No one has ever gone out of their way to bend their knees to speak to me in a condescending form. At this point my daughter told me the lady I was speaking to was the owner. At the news I took two steps back and gasped!!! The owner treats customers like this? I was ready to leave and never look back but my daughter wanted to end the conversation with the owner. My daughter stepped in and asked me to let her handle the conversation. At her request I walked a few feet away to the counter where a sales lady was standing. I kept listening to Mr. Cole and made sure to enjoy everything I heard. I disconnected myself from the conversation my daughter was having with the owner. In the Yelp response the owner says I treated her employees as less than humans, but she's describing the way she treated my daughter and I, not the way I treated her. I told the salesperson I was sorry they had to work for such a difficult boss. She just shook her head "no". She looked very angry. It never occurred to me she was angry at me. Interesting enough, I was still in shocked at how the owner had reacted without any instigation. I think I was thinking the sales lady looked so angry because of the entire scene. I still don't know. I responded with, "She's not difficult to work with?", once again the lady shook her head "no" without opening her mouth to say anything. So I said, "Oh. Ok. I must be reading her wrong". She just looked at me. I raise chicks for therapy and emotional support so, I pulled a video of one of my latest chicks and showed it to her. At this point, I just wanted this lady to have a smile on her face. The baby chick video was welcomed by her. She smiled and said, "cute". Soon after that my daughter told me it was time to go. I later learned the owner had refused service; which is exactly what my daughter wanted at this point, because she wanted her $50 refund. The owner told her to email her so she could receive her refund. Which she sent a few days later. I wrote a quick review on Yelp warning people to be careful with this business and the owner responded to my review with nothing but lies. She mentions videos of the entire encounter where I allegedly scream at her but I wonder if such videos captured her yelling at me and bending over to talk down to me. In the Yelp response the owner also mentions calling security and us being kicked out of her store. We never saw security and we walked out of the store calmly. I even had a chance to walk with my daughter across the hallway to the Kona Ice stand. My daughter ended up finding a gorgeous dress on Amazon and had an incredible photoshoot. The value of the dress she bought was equal if not better than the dresses at the shop. It turns out we never needed to visit this shop anyways.
