It is great to see a boutique up north! The atmosphere is very fun. Tons of clothes, jewelry, and little "gifty" knick knacks. A great shop to stop in when you feel like avoiding the crowds at Glenbrook. I love their clothing selection. Ranging from active wear, t shirts, casual, to fancy dresses. There is something for any occasion! They have you covered for simple and cute or something that stands out! Customer service is on point. I have always been taken care of there and I think that is the benefit of shopping at boutiques. They are willing to help you shop, pull items for you, and get everything organized for you in their fitting room. On my last visit I also found out they are expanding! WOOHOOO! They are to be adding more accessories and need more room for their frequent shipments of clothes.

The shop also sells hats, candles, and jewelry. What I enjoy most about shopping here is interacting with the staff. They are friendly but not overbearing, and very helpful. I liked their previous store location, and love their (somewhat) new location on The Landing. Across from the home décor store and next to a restaurant, The Urban Hippie's namesake fits in perfectly with this trendy area of Downtown Fort Wayne.

The style seems to mostly appeal to the high school/early college set while the prices are more appropriate for soccer moms. Although I found several cute things, the quality of the clothes did not give me hope that the items would last for very many washes or for more than one season. Prices were a bit high (around $50 average, per piece) compared to similar styles at chain stores and there were no plus size options. You def have to look at each piece of clothing in the racks to see what you're getting but they do a good job of labeling sizes and what is in each isle. But watch out cause I saw many items with dog or cat hair left on them, stains or small tears in the clothing Some items are priced well while others are way overpriced. They have a ton of shoes and some look new while others are so scuffed and worn you wonder why they're selling them. They also sell new items that is the stores. It's expensive. They have tons of dressing rooms and I didn't have to wait in line for one. But it was a huge mess. They also limit the amount of items you can take in to 6 only. Checking g out was another story.
