We had an excellent experience at this Meijer location. The store is easy to navigate and shop, with fresh, beautifully displayed produce and consistently kind and helpful associates throughout. What set this visit apart was the outstanding customer service. We needed assistance with two items after our purchase, and the manager, Sami, went above and beyond. She personally called me back and handled everything with such care, kindness, and expertise. It's rare to encounter that level of genuine service, and it made a lasting impression. Very good! The workers are nice, the place isn't dirty (doesn't mean it's spotless), and there are bike locks outside of it! I bike there on warm days, so the bike locks are a HUGE bonus! read more

I came by this Meijer as I was in Fort Wayne and was blocks from this store after taking a tour of the Debrand Chocolate Factory. I needed to buy groceries for the week and went inside. Great Meijer by the hospital. Well stocked, but the sales seem to lag compared to the other stores in the area. If you work in healthcare, they're clothing section does include scrubs. Overall, the store has great produce and HomeGoods as well. The only thing that could be better is quicker sales. Hidden deals: look for the random sale sections. They also have great deals when there is an additional percentage off sale items already, especially including the clothing section. read more

Meijer has stood out for me as my favorite retailers for, literally, decades. On a recent visit from Louisville I was surprised/delighted/elated to see this new location right across the street from our hotel. Being the Meijer fans that we are, we had to visit. This new aesthetic is an amazing upgrade from what Meijer used to look like. The modernized exterior is eye-catching. The interior layout is different every other Meijer I've ever been to, and I've been in A LOT of Meijers. The entirety of the grocery department takes up nearly the entire back wall. The decor and fixtures have a fresh appearance (an update Meijer has needed for years) and the layout, while drastically different, makes sense and has a great flow. While I'm still not a fan of the self checkout (I LIKE to talk to cashiers), these are laid out and handled well, unlike a competitive retailer whose primary color is blue and doesn't give a shit or two about its customers. For the first time I actually enjoyed my self check out. I don't know that I'd ever be able to say that again. Being so new, everything is currently very clean and shiny. I hope that continues to be the case. Meijer and I are old friends, but sometimes it's great to see an old friend with a fresh face. read more

I'm totally excited for this review. Aesthetically, this store is one of the most up to date and beautifully designed stores in the city. The business atrium at the top of the store is gorgeous. This is a solid 5 start store. Although, the parking lot entrance leaves a little to be desired. The store has an expansive parking lot with 2 main entrances on either side. I like to enter on the pharmacy entrance side. This allows me to get all of my personal care items as I enter the store. This also allows me to shop in the manner I like. The grocer section of the store is along the back wall of the store and the meat section is on the side of the wall and produce and deli in the front area. The layout is easy to navigate and allows for seamless shopping. So far, the meat and produce has been exceptional. The freshness, the flavor, the appearance is amazing. I'm happy to have this store on this side of DuPont Rd. read more

I will no longer shop any Meijers. I bought a prepay phone from them that did not work at all. They refused to refund my money. They pulled out a piece of paper that showed items they won't give refunds on, and cell phones were on there. However, no one showed me this paper or verbally told me this. So, a company that made 19.59 billion dollars in 2020 won't refund an 80.00 purchase of a faulty phone. Absolut criminals. read more

Meijer is a nice place to shop. Meijer used to have real nice sales on many groceries and their other things they sell. But now, with inflation, they are done with that. Even with mperks, Meijer is costly. Meijer's checkout self-service has their bag area way too far away from the register. At least at Walmart, the shopper can put the filled bag(s) in one's cart after scanning. If Meijer had a delivery like Walmart Plus, we may consider using the store(s) more. Instacart marks up Meijer's products even more and adds extra charges. Not want we want. read more

I shop Meijer for just a handful of things. Other than that I think Meijer is expensive. I purchase plants, Ammo & Liquid Chlorine when it's on sale there. Otherwise we shop Walmart or Kroger. These two stores have better deals and prices hand down. read more

The reason I dislike this Meijer on East DuPont Road in Fort Wayne Indiana is because of the way the night manager treats the workers I have not heard one good thing about this manager I was told his name was Chris and that he has a pony tail. He is rude to the third shift workers when lets be honest they do a great job. A worker that recently worked there who is my child told me that he does petty stuff on purpose and gossips about other coworkers to other coworkers. And he gets mad at the coworkers when they aren't going the same speed he goes but he has to understand that not everyone will go the same speed. Honestly he miss treats the best workers. Yeah it's okay to be a little upset over some things not getting done but taking it out on the people who do the most work is terrible. I'm honestly surprised none of the higher up staff have even talked to him about anything other than Chris this is an amazing store to shop at!! The company no longer cares about the customer experience in the least. They install 30 freaking self-checkout stations so they don't have to use any manual labor whatsoever. Then on top of that they fail to even put the hand scanners in so now when you decide you need to buy dog food you have to try and manipulate your 40 lb bag of dog food over a scanner that it doesn't fit on to scan a barcode . The other option was to stand in line behind four or five carts full of food and wait 15 or 20 minutes so you can check out with one item . Absolutely disgraceful and it shows that major corporations do not care about their customers just their bottom dollar . It was such a poor customer experience I just left the food and went down to Kroger's and bought it there . They had half the customers and twice the registers open . read more

Thenew Meijer is very clean and very organized!! very impressed with the flow and how well the store has been the last few weeks! WAY less crowded than Kroger even during peak hours, very happy to have more than 1 grocery store in this area now. It is also very accessible to walk to from the neighboring areas!! Lots of sidewalks and crosswalks! I will say the reason to write this came from visiting the other Meijers. I was at Maysville location yesterday and was purchasing fruit, and today at the Dupont location I got the exact same fruit. Dupont prices are heavily increased, most of which are $1 more. My apples were $1 more per apple..Which sounds silly, it's just a dollar, and I don't REALLY mind but it makes me wonder if other things are priced higher at the Dupont location... read more

I've always supported Meijer's stores for a long time. Over the years, I was impressed that they've invested and accomplished major impressive renovations to their locations to freshen up the shopping experience and maintain a nice edge. I was excited about the new E Dupont location. I understand that there was concern in regards to contributing to traffic in already stressed region, but I believe the planners did a a nice job at providing 3 wide avenues into the facility area. An additional street signal in Dupont was added, but it's a very reasonable well timed and doesn't unduly interrupt the flow of traffic. While certainly any brand new store has challenges, I've been giving the store some time to work things out. There continues to be some concerns which I have. - the organization of the produce, deli and dairy departments. Slow to restock items, Substantial fluctuations in temperatures in cases, molded, distressed produce/deli guacamole, deli salads , unrotated/expired dates (bread too), completely empty cases, out of items found in abundance elsewhere, nicely heated deli and grab/go station cases rotisserie chicken should not be completely empty on busy Sundays. Why Absolutely Nothing being warmed during peak hours? ie. Also, software in checkout kiosks are glitchy always prompting assistance from associate login clearing. Aside from rather haphazard slow (loose glass hangs) replacement of shattered dairy doors, Lastly a lot of really ugly stains and spills that continue to need to be properly promptly cleaned up with clean water. Safety signs are there, but for a brand new store, it should be essential to keep appearance pristine. Complaints aside, readily can be fixed, it's a nice location, full of perfect potential with great associates and management. All very helpful, friendly and hard working. I appreciate the convenience of the location and look forward to shopping there. read more
