After refusing any further service he started being unreasonably rude to me and my dad. I then walked out of the store. Well I took out the battery and after a short while I put it back. And that fixed the problem. That was in Jan. Well three weeks ago the battery trick would t work so the folks at the store reset to factory and it was charging. For about three days. So I took it back and it was still under warranty so I chose to use the warranty. Well it's been a week and a half. No new hot spot yet, no reliable internet for three weeks. So will I have to pay the $83 dollars or lose my whole service? I have ordered things from cell phone online and it's never taken over a week to come back n the mail. Says network not available and can only make emergency calls. Have to turn phone off restart and this happens during a call as well so disconnected. Offered a reconditioned phone. Asked for new. Customer service now referred to as care team. An oxymoron Told a warranty would be extended for 7 days. Go to store for 4th time for replacement. None available in all of TMOBILE system. Told could replace with newer model however none of precious payments would apply. So losing another 200+ dollars. Chris found a work around but his superiors not only said no they indicated even the replacement was no longer possible. I asked to speak to Chris superior or regional manager. We moved back to Maine a few years ago after several years in Florida. We turned to Spectrum to set…read moreus up. We only needed Wi-Fi and weren't interested in a cable package. They applied no real pressure to sell us more, so that was fine. They were also helpful getting our Wi-Fi set up, both in person and on the phone. During the first few years the service was nothing but excellent. Our download speed is excellent, and I think we just lost our Wi-Fi a couple of times briefly. The service seems more spotty recently, not with outages but rather with clocking and delays in websites or our smart tv apps. However, that could be related to our having several more devices using the service than we used to have. But my most recent interaction with Spectrum was dropping off equipment for our neighbor who is in Florida. I was surprised to learn the Spectrum office was open 12-5 on Sundays. It was convenient for us that day, but I am not sure it is worth being open for just five hours. Not great for the employees, but it worked for us. If you do go in without an appointment, be sure to sign in at the computer station at the front of the store. I walked right by it and was told by someone else. The employee who dealt with us was fine. Now a rival new service in town is promising better Wi-Fi for $10 less, but I saw in the fine print that after the first year the regular price kicks in for $10 more, so we are sticking to the known quantity for now.

They asked if I wanted to pay the $150…read moredeductible for the insurance fee or pay $106 to pay the phone off and then upgrade to new phone because I would get $800 towards new phone if I traded it in. Obviously I go with the cheaper route. I went in today to trade in the phone and they said I only get a $350 towards the trade-in that's a big difference. The only choices they offered me was to give me back my broken phone and return the iPhone 14 or basically suck it up, not recommended will be changing carrier soon.
