17 hours of multiple transfers, misinformation and now 0 acceptable response. TMobile service not functioning on the phone purchased from them 6 Mos ago. Says network not available and can only make emergency calls. Have to turn phone off restart and this happens during a call as well so disconnected. Offered a reconditioned phone. Asked for new. Customer service now referred to as care team. An oxymoron Told a warranty would be extended for 7 days. Go to store for 4th time for replacement. None available in all of TMOBILE system. Told could replace with newer model however none of precious payments would apply. So losing another 200+ dollars. Chris found a work around but his superiors not only said no they indicated even the replacement was no longer possible. I asked to speak to Chris superior or regional manager. Told he had no way of reaching. 7 days now up ? Told I have to call customer care again. What do you think the likelihood of my getting same person are?!!@ read more

This is an amazing team of people! Jose Rangel, Jr. has hired and developed staff that are enthused, knowledgeable and kind! This is what customer service is all about. Jose was engaged with everyone and knew what was needed in each situation and ready to help. Jose moved throughout the store in a friendly manner. All of his staff smiled and helped each other. Thursday July 8th 2021 my son, my future wife and myself went to this T-Mobile to change my phone and my son's to her T-mobile account as we had decided that T-mobile was the better carrier than what we had. We treated very well by the representative that took care of this change and though it took a long time that would be to be expected and he was quite professional, we left with phones we were quite happy with. My son's phone encountered an issue right after getting home, it would not turn on but we both work and could not return until Sunday the 11th. We were waiting and a store employee came over and told us we would have to leave as they we busy, they would put us on a call list an would call us in an hour, maybe less. I explained I lived an hour away, what was I to do? She said that it was unfair to others on the waiting list (remember those words) I said we had just spent at least 1000 dollars a few days ago on phones and can she just look at and see if it was something simple as it often is with these things. She said it would be unfair to the others waiting. (remember those words) I told her I was leaving with a bad taste in my mouth about the new company I just signed on with, her exact words were "That's fine" Fine for who? Not for T-mobile, not for us but for her who seems to be on some power trip kicking customers out of the store. I went out to call my lady and cancel the phone, but I remembered the man who was very helpful in selling us the phones and would not allow this little girl to cost him his commission. (I worked music retail for years selling musical instruments, I have seen many forms of commission sabotage) Then they told me I was not authorized to have it serviced so I had to call my lady and have her add me, she did. Remember I said to remember those words? While she was putting me on the authorization list the good salesman came over, looked at the phone and in less than a minute had it turned on and working. He then discovered it seized up in an update, 5 minutes later we were out the door with a working phone....5 minutes. This little girl refused to listen to my pleas to just look at it like any other place would do, she just said we had to get out, she had to play the tough store merchant and almost chased away a customer with her dismal to no professional sense. My lady was on the phone with T-moblie getting me authorized (it was obvious that the Bangor store was trying to get us out without service again) and she explained what had happened to them on the phone and one complaint is already going to corporate from her conversation as the info has already been taken about. I am calling tomorrow to file another and as I understand it my lady explained that I would (she has been with them for quite a while). During the time we waited no one went into that store, two groups tried and were also turned around, this little girl with too much power said to me that it would unfair to others waiting...we sat in that lot for 45 minutes, there was no one else who went in, no one else waiting, she lied...read that again, she blatantly lied to get me to leave the store with defective equipment they sold me. All this could have been avoided with what use to be normal customer service, they could have taken two minutes to look at it first but apparently selling a good product is less important than a little girls ego because she would give an inch even when it makes pure common sense. If we hadn't already been this far in I would not stay with this company, there is no other alternative for T-mobile within 100 miles so I am stuck with this little girl who has no problem looking a customer straight in the eyes and bold face lying, I hope T-mobile gives the employees of this store the training they need...in this case the customer wasn't right until events proved he was, still he wasn't...very sad service in a world of declining service and higher costs...paying to be abused.
