Several times over the last few years I've gone to this location about my account and every time the response is "We can't do anything" or just a straight "No" There is NO effort whatsoever to even try to help let alone even look up my account. Yet when I go to any other location the workers will instantly help and get me taken care of. Even though we were informed already and knew exactly what phones and Lantz wanted. It's nice for them to know product knowledge and answer questions nowadays pretty much any shop you go to services poor product knowledge is low. T-Mobile is my mobile phone service provider, they the one that allows me to Yelp on the go! Been with them for 20+ years. I came here the other day to upgrade my outdated Apple iPhone X. It was 5 years old. However it was still in excellent physical and working condition. But it was time to upgrade that dinosaur phone. The service was fast, Annie the T-Mobile Representative was helpful, friendly, patient and was able to answer all my question correctly. I got the new Apple iPhone 14 Pro!! Had to have them order it for me because they didn't keep the 1TB version in stock due to its monstrous price tag. They didn't have a public loo for me to review, but that's okay, no one really uses the loo when upgrading their mobile phone. I would like to test the mobile phones in the loo, since most people are on their phones in there while doing a two. Overall excellent place. Excellent iPhone 14 Pro. Excellent service for me. I went in on sun of this week to cancel my moms acct who is 86 w dementia and the man jose was helpful but said i needed to call. he was able to note the acct and state that i am the one to speak to regarding her acct. i brought in the POA which is needed in this case to cancel her acct as i have financial power of attorney for her since she is incapacitated. the people over the phone was no help at all. went back on mon to get this done and give them the POA like i tried to do on sun but the girls that were there around 3 were rude and didnt want to help or do anything and said i have to call which i explained i did already and they wont do anything w out the POA being scanned they refused to scan saying they cant do that and i asked where the corporate office is so that i can go speak to someone else and was told to google it. the guy that was there gave cross streets but asked for the address and was told to google it. i waited till he looked it up cause as a customer i should not have to do all this running around for something simple as an address and to cancel my moms acct. when me and my daughter were leaving they were making rude comments and laughing like i was causing problems when they were the ones who were causing problems and being rude. your employees are garbage that were working on mon around 3. the girls are rude and should not have a job there. read more

When we told him to stop he repeatedly said "what you don't want to leave us a Google review?" My husband had to ask back for his phone three times before the associate would give the phones back. He then told us we had to "wait for the clock to run-out" before giving us the bags. He then went over to the associates at the other counter and started whispering something. THE ABSOLUTE WORST!! I'm 60 years old, a retired Major from the U.S. Army and have been all around the world and under very adverse conditions and I've never been treated this poorly by a business before. The salesman lied to me, selling me an Apple Watch SE and telling me that it was an Apple Watch 10, (which is what I was trading in my Apple Watch 7 for), he flat out lied to me. I discovered the fraud two months later while traveling and began experiencing heart pain which necessitated use of the ECG function, which I now know isn't included on the SE version of the watch (I specifically mentioned this function in the store). Fortunately, the health issue resolved itself but I was upset that I had been lied to after specifically asking the young salesman if the new watch had all the features and being told yes. Based on being lied to, I ended up trading in my 7 for a lesser product that didn't have some important features I needed. In addition, the salesman told me the device was free and that I would only be paying for the line activation- which was dormant on my account based on my son having broken his watch. In fact, he had sold me that SE and started a contract for it (Lie #2), despite me telling him I wanted to pay up front and not do any contracts. I had to contact AppleCare to identify the problem. They had me contact T-mobile, who 3-wayed me in with the store. The store promised me a call from the manager the following day. That call never came, despite the 800 operator explaining the I had been mistreated. I called the store myself and spoke to Jay, at least that's what he said his name was, but I doubt it. Jay essentially told me he was the store manager and there was nothing he could do because the two week warranty period had lapsed. I laid it out plainly for him so he could see the fraud that his employee perpetrated- and Jay could clearly care less. I called back to t-mobile, then back to the store for a higher level manager, but to no avail, then finally back to t-Mobile to switch over to Verizon. The store employees and all but the final lady at T-mobile simply told me to suck it up and than an upgrade would cost me more 100's of dollars. Even after explaining the health issue thatbled to the discovery that I had been duped by one of his employees he still could care less. At this point I was done, I've moved on to Verizon who were professional and offered me a better deal for less money. I had been a loyal customer since 199, starting with Nextel, Sprint and now T-mobile. I even sold my Army on them resulting in a 50 phone contract- not to mention the countless people I've persuaded to change to these companies over the years. I was the fool and Jay made that very clear by his words and actions. The Glendale T-Mobile store near Westgate Mall (9284 W. Northern Avenue) is spectacularly terrible, those kids have zero concept of integrity or good customer service. Deal with them at your own risk. If I could give zero stars, I would. read more

A traumatic day for me, my phone died! I immediately went to get another one. Garrett was so incredibly helpful. I purchased a new phone, he got me set up on it and I walked out of there ready to use it immediately. FYI-I am not tech savvy, and Garrett was so patient with me. The iPhone I had was not approved by manager because we replaced the screen so we ended up leaving without a phone. When my bill arrived, I noticed a new line and I was being charge for that. I called the store several times and asked for manager and left message, but she never called and was never available. This place was by far the worst experience ever. I walked in to see about potentially upgrading my phone, there was no set up outside to assist customers who CHOOSE not to wear a mask. So I was immediately yelled at and told to leave because they're only assisting customers with a masks. No even a greeting, common ladies you can do better. Avoid this store if you can.....Never giving business or going back to this store again. Initially, we called the store to find out if we had received our phone and the girl there asked questions about the phone. Our issue is that the phone had battery problems and wouldn't stay powered on. So it would power up and then couple seconds later it would turn off. So the girl on the phone asked if the phone would turn on and we said no. She quickly went to say she could not do anything since it was an insurance deal. Then we asked again can you check if the phone was delivered there and then we got hung up on. She never checked our account! We then proceeded to call customer service to confirm if the phone was delivered and it in fact was. He gave us the number to claim phone. So here me and my fiancé go to the store and there were two females. We were attended by the girl with the lighter hair, I wish I would have gotten her name. We go in and tell her that customer service notified us that our replacement phone had arrived. We made no mentions about the hang up about an hour before. Than she asked the same questions of powering on phone. She looked up info and then starts telling us we are able to upgrade so she ends talking to us about the other options one which was the Galaxy A21 , which no down was needed and then some other phone was a Samsung where we'd pay $100 and some down. We then said ok let's do the one without the down payment. Then she stated, well with this phone we also have a lot of warranty issues much like Galaxy A20 you have so I wouldn't recommend it. So we then told her ok we'll come back after our trip and we'll make the upgrade. Finally, after alllllll that she states Oh there is a small crack on your phone I cannot give you the exchange... I was like seriously! Sadly didn't we didn't even see the small crack on the edge of the phone. So after alll that time....we left with no phone. She didn't even advise us on our next steps or what options we had....nothing! I'm not one to complain EVER but my world revolves around customer service and I don't wish bad experiences like these to anyone. ----THIS REVIEW MIGHT SAVE YOUR LIFE---- Come to this T-Mobile if you are a sick sadist. This T-Mobile gave me an experience comparable to that of a horror movie. As in all horror movies things start off pretty nice, went to T-mobile during the holiday season, gifts were handed out to all the kid's, spent nearly $3,000 on 4 new note 5's and an i phone 6, plus a slew of overpriced accessories. Later that night I realized my phone was a factory defect after running numerous software tests and a factory reset. So we decided to return to T-Mobile the next day and exchange the phone. After waiting in a 30 min line to be serviced I then show the sales associates the error message and explained to them the steps I took to troubleshoot this problem. Neither sales associate had ever seen this problem ( Do they not own google? ). Apparently they were not trained or did not have the authority to help me replace the defect phone that they sold me. So I was told the manager would be starting his shift in three hours and I would have to return then for anything to be done. We came back to the T-Mobile 3 hours later, waited in line again for another 30 min only to find out that the manager was not in. He was busy managing 5 other T-Mobiles in the local area. But the clerk did not tell us this, in fact he told a bold face lie and said the manager would be back in 5 minutes when we asked to speak with him directly. so we waited... and waited... So another 30 minutes goes by and the manager finally comes in dressed in street clothes with his lunch. He headed straight for the back room, casually ate lunch for another 15 minutes then emerged from the back room with an attitude. I guess it's not easy running 5 T-mobiles in Glendale filled with teen's. An older gentleman in our group had reached his boiling point and demanded the manager give us a replacement phone . Without hesitation the manager tosses the phone on the counter and says he's not going to help us and that we are going to have to leave the store... At this point I had to ask him, " We were told you would be back in three hours, what happened to that ?" he replied, "It's none of your business". I then told him I was going to write a yelp review about this incident and this must have set him off. because "Your going to have to leave MY store" turned into "LETS TAKE THIS OUTSIDE" . I kid you not, this greasy haired 25 year old gym rat T-mobile manager took off his headset, puffed out his chest and tried to start a fight with a 60 year old man with a heart condition and a bum shoulder in front of his T-Mobile over a stupid phone. I think he must have been showing off for his friends/employee's inside. Every employee in T-Mobile witnessed the altercation yet none of them tried to come and stop the manager or even help the manager as he ran outside to fight a customer outnumbered, I guess they knew this manager had a violent history. Luckily I was able to separate the two and diffuse any further violence. After the dust settled no charges were filed on either side, but a formal complaint has been submitted to the corporate side of T-Mobile requesting this manager be terminated. Now I'm stuck with a phone that still reads " Camera fail ". For trying to break up a fight I was in turn banned from T-Mobile by the same manager. Does threatening to yelp someone who is giving you terrible service really give them the right to threaten you with physical violence? WORST T-MOBILE IN AZ, I have never seen anything like this I am actually sick to my stomach recalling this incident. I like T-Mobile but you are better off avoiding most T-Mobiles in Glendale, just drive twenty minutes in any direction and you can find something better. #What ever happened to customer service? read more

I went to this store with my wife and 2 daughters. We were in the store for over 30 minutes and no one acknowledged us. Granted the 3 poeple working there were with customers but, how long does it take to acknowledge customers? The staff is rude, especially Stephanie the girl with a piece of wire in her nostrils and the district supervisor doesn't care for their customers as well. They refused to take my cell spot return even though I had the printed instructions from T Mobile with me. I asked to talk to a supervisor but was refused. When their ONE plan came out which was unlimited Data I signed up for it. Now I was using Walmart family plan that's powered by T-Mobile so I thought why not jump for an unlimited plan , I use my phone for business. I can't remember what cost was something like $70 a month. That changed but they started giving me a limited on the unlimited data which was the reason I started an account with them. I have to give a big thanks and shoutout to Frank H. I made the stupid mistake of dropping my phone in some water and subsequently needed a replacement. When I arrived, Frank was immediately kind, professional and totally understanding. One of the things that I really appreciated is that he didn't try to push anything on me, even while knowing that I absolutely needed a new phone. We discussed a range of options, and he went out of his way to try to find me a solid deal. He went above and beyond, however, by his understanding and working around my own schedule. Because I came in on Mother's Day, I had some family obligations and wasn't able to stick around to finish the purchase and setup. He told me to come back at my convenience and that he would have everything ready for me. When I showed up again a couple hours later, he was eager and ready to continue where we left off without issue. I really cannot say enough about how much he helped me out today. Two weeks ago, I bought one of their glass protectors for my new iPhone 12. They placed it on and told me that there's a return policy of 14 days and the product is covered by a warranty and I can come in at any time to replace it for a new one-- this warranty was explained to me as being part of my purchase and *not* something I needed to add on. Well, it started bubbling up soon after and eventually peeled off. I went in to a few different stores that were closer my work and one of them said that the store I bought it from would be able to help me out since this store didn't give nor offer me a receipt at purchase and because this specific store is also part of a franchise rather than an actual T-Mobile location-- or something along those lines. Two other stores said they could help and replace with no hassle, but that they didn't have the glass protector that fits my phone. So, I decided to come back here and explained the situation to them. While I waited for them to figure out what they were doing, they tried selling me an "upgrade" on my brand new phone- offering me an iPhone 11, despite me telling them moments before that I had just purchased the 12- which was in their hands at that exact moment. They were persistent in having me buy something while taking a long time trying to pull up my account. Eventually, they told me I needed a protection plan that costed $18 a month (which is way more than Apple's $8 a month plan) for them to do anything for me and that the 14 day policy and the warranty I was told about at purchase was incorrect. Poor customer service. Nobody seems to know what to do unless it's to sell you something you don't need. Avoid this location. read more

So I call this store and speak to garret and ask if they have series 2 AirPods in stock and he tells me yes, we have series 1 in stock and 1 more left of the series 2 so I rush over my gps says 13min away I get there ask for them the lady w the pigtails says yes garret says he will go get them in the back comes out 30 seconds later to say "we don't have any" so I said I literally just called less than 20min ago and you said you do and the girl says "we actually just sold the last one yesterday" I look at garret & said why did you tell me you had some if you didn't and he starts stuttering and said "we just sold the series 2 20 minutes ago" so what is it yesterday or 20 minutes ago?! You can tell he was lying and full of shit!!! I am a customer of over 6 + years and never had an issue like this until I come across this liar!!!
