He informed the police officer, who was also at the store earlier that day that the item was in working condition. However, he made many excuses and claimed that the item was "fuzzy" and that he couldn't refund us the total $190 for services. He also said that he would arrange a money order payment through the police department, which they do not do. We took the item home, but it behaved the same as when we gave it to him a year ago. While I am uncertain about the likelihood of him making the payment, based on experience, I am hopeful he will fulfill his commitment. If he fails, we may consider exploring legal options and contacting the Better Business Bureau to seek a resolution. I even brought this man old electronics gear that I thought he would be interested in as a gift months ago. Seeing how he treated us as if we were criminals today is a joke. The police even acknowledged this to us even though their hands were tied, and they couldn't do anything because it was a civil matter. It is advisable to exercise caution when conducting business with the said individual. He takes your money and gives you excuses for why he isn't fixing your stuff.

The length process was undoubtedly shown. After patiently waiting after being told it would be an hour, turned into three hours later, I got my phone back only for the bottom left corner of the screen protector to be crinkled and wrinkled with a nail print indentation.... Like what? It was visible and yet the sloppy work was given to me past the counter. Smh. I brought it up and the tech that came from the back was not too pleased that I asked for it to be done again. As they didn't have a screen protector in stock, they made a file in the system that I needed the work to be done and they mentioned either the following Tuesday or Wednesday they will get a shipment and they would call me. I called Tuesday and they said no stock came and that once the screen protector comes in, the system will notify my work order in which they would call me. Come Sunday, I called and they said they had it in stock. Smh. I came, told a two hour labor turned three and half hours and finally got my new screen protector properly installed with no sign of scratches, crinkles, wrinkles or tampered. As a bi-coastal business owner, I was looking to open a second mailbox at this location since my existing UPS Store mailbox is in another state. I've maintained a small mailbox for over 5 years with no issue, so I'm very familiar with what size actually fits my needs. I came in to rent a small mailbox for 6 months, which is more than sufficient. However, I was told by the owner, Joshua Steele, that because I am a business, I am not allowed to rent a small box and must instead purchase a medium box. When I asked where this policy was documented or communicated, I was told it was not in writing--it's simply his policy. That directly contradicts the idea of "supporting small businesses." Supporting small businesses means allowing customers to choose services based on their actual needs--not requiring them to purchase a higher-priced option simply because they identify as a business. What's more concerning is the inconsistency: * Personal customers are allowed to choose the mailbox size that fits their needs * Business customers are not given that same choice That's not about capacity or logistics--it's an arbitrary rule that increases cost without adding value. A fair and reasonable approach would be to require an upgrade only if a customer's mail volume exceeds the box size. Instead, this policy forces small business owners to pay more upfront, regardless of actual usage. If the goal is truly to support small businesses, the policies should reflect that--not contradict it. I'll be taking my business to a location that actually aligns its service with that promise.
