I tried to open an account with the company owned store on Spartanburg Highway. My credit history is perfect. I had put a freeze on my accounts with the three credit reporting agencies and tried lifting the freezes during my time in the store. I had emails from each verifying the lifts but TMobile's corporate credit offices somehow locked on to the freeze and wouldn't let go. That's too bad. I was hoping to try their 5G home internet service but their sales and customer service is not local and apparently unable to work with people on a one on one basis. I found out that the lift I put on my accounts weren't long enough in duration so I placed another lift (or thaw, for one of the agencies - their term for a temporary lift) of longer duration. T-Mobile was still locked on the freeze and apparent the computer decided I was trying to game the system. The local sales guy (Jay) was great, did all he could to help but ... Too bad. I'd really like to find an alternative to internet via cable. read more

I had a horrible experience at this store! It turns out that this is a franchise, not owned by T-Mobile! I was switching from Verizon, and was trading in a iPhone for a $830 promotion. The store agent somehow screwed up the order, and didn't apply the promotion. T-Mobile Customer Service said I would have to return the new phone which had a $30 screen protector on it, pay a $50 restocking fee, and buy another, identical phone with the promo entered correctly! No way! It turns out the store agent had messed up other Customers. Even though he clearly remembered my transaction, he walked into the store and quit! This is the same day I picked up me new phone. I called the T-Mobile Store Manager on Patton St in Asheville, a store owned by T-Mobile, who was super nice and wanted to try to help! I think we got this all worked out. Took the whole day! My advice is ONLY deal with a store that is owned by T-Mobile! What a horrible OnBoarding experience! read more

It was the worst experience ever. Two weeks ago I came in and I upgraded from an iPhone X to an iPhone 14. I have had nothing but issues with it. I came back in to the store, after three hours ( they were on the phone to tech support) I get told it's a sprint issue and they cannot help me. Unbelievable. The assistant manager was awful. read more

We stopped in here needing to upgrade our phones right before Christmas. The store was absolutely packed, and addressing the former review, this is a new store that is actually a T-Mobile store, though it's located next to one that is a subsidiary (a little confusing). Anyhow, we worked with Jay and he was nothing short of amazing. He helped us switch over and set up our new phones while also helping other employees troubleshoot issues. There were some technical difficulties causing everything to go a little slow, but throughout he kept his humor, kindness, and helpfulness. If you're needing help with your T-Mobile plan, or looking to switch over, I highly recommend you call or stop by and ask for Jay-he knows his stuff and will take great care of you! read more
