The configuration of the store has changed. The service and professionalism has changed and IMPROVED! A nice young man took my name, told me there were 5 customers ahead and then checked regularly to update me about how much longer my wait would be. And then DUSTIN called my name. What a GEM. Polite, knowledgeable, patient, professional. He was a delight to talk with and explained things so clearly. We bought my hubby a new FLIP PHONE--ok he's a dinosaur--but it's what he wanted! In Verizon stores of the past, you were pretty much treated like an intrusion and there was NO order regarding who was next. This visit completely changed my perception. I no longer DREAD going to Verizon. In fact, if all their employees are as thorough as Dustin, I'll look forward to visiting! Just left the Verizon store on Four Seasons Blvd this afternoon 5-31-23. Met at door by a Verizon staff member. He said it will be just a min and someone will help me. He then ask what I was there for? I said I switched from Verizon 6 months ago to T-Mobile and their service has deteriorated to worse than ever. I need to see what Verizon was offering to come back? I waited and waited and waited. Customers left and the Verizon staff kept disappearing to the back. I saw new people coming in and asking about new service. They were helped immediately! I had the misfortune of dealing with the manager today over what was a pretty simple issue. This guy had zero interest in helping me, he wouldn't even address the issue. I ended up driving to the Arden store. The manager there fixed the issue in 10 minutes. It's unbelievable who can become a manager these days! read more

I was diddling around about getting a new iphone, same place I got my last one. But an upcoming trip and the new 13's camera upgrade made me flip my switch. My sales associate was the manager at the Smoky Park Hwy location, across from the Avl Outlets. He was super attentive and patient, and made the decision make sense for me, with no pressure. Bad experience today and Yelp rejecting my first attempt to post here doesn't help. OK I'll try and convey my disgust more gently this time. On my yearly visit from NYC to my 86 yr old mother here I found that her "senior discount" Verizon wireless bill was $44.78 for a month wherein she used 66 talk minutes and received 23 texts total. Are you kidding me? I was with her in this store a few years back when we got her that $25/month senior plan (that was not advertised btw - we had to ask). Apparently that's gone with no notifications sent to her. The guy at the door looked at the bill and pointed out a $12/month protection plan on the bill for her cheap old flip phone. She never asked for or agreed to that, it was somehow 'slipped in'. Making matters worse, the guy told us the store had no internet today, we'd have to go online ourselves to resolve things. No good, no good. Back at her house I called the 800 number and was able to remove the $12 charge but was informed there were no senior plans. Again, no good. Tomorrow we are going to other carriers to look at plans and dump Verizon for good - not only for her but for my 88 yr old stepfather who is also paying a ludicrous price for his monthly flip phone. All I see here is unethical and predatory behavior and that's not a stretch. read more

This is the worst customer service. I went in 10 days ago to obtain a new phone cans spoke with Kyle who said my phone was still good. My 11 pro max wasn't keeping a charge and had a cracked screen so ordered the screen and from Amazon ordered the battery case. Now this took 2 different trips to Verizon cause first I was informed they had them and when I was in the store told they didn't have them. Now being told that I have the new phone but gave mixed messages on regarding if they could transfer the data or not but referred me to Simply Mac in Asheville. Called Simply Mac and spoke with TL who stated they could not do the transfer but if I couldn't follow the directions I needed to go to Greenville about 45 minutes away. Where do I start. Me and my grandparents just needed a transfer pin. We were transferring to a different company and they wouldn't help us at all. The 2 ladies at the front were extremely rude to us And they don't even work for Verizon!!! Who hires "greeters" that don't know anything about their company!! They then had to make my mother leave work to come down here and open our account. And I understand it's a security thing. But on top of it the man who helped us rushed us and kept asking "when is your mom going to be here" like I am sorry my mother had to leave work to deal with this. And they didn't even try to give us a deal or do anything for us to stay. Long story short I will never be doing business at this Verizon again. read more

I am going back to the store today to speak to a manager in person. I can't believe I left yesterday thinking I was helped! The employee that "helped" me is very lazy. I went in for 2 reasons- to have my new phone checked out since I dropped it and to inquire about sending old one back for credit. He didn't even look at phone for scratch. Just said if working it's fine. I was worried about camera lens and he said didn't get it so it's okay. The return label he so graciously gave me has his name and address as the sender! He didn't even ask if I returned phone to factory settings. I also think that he could have sent back for me. He did try to take my paperwork that was in the box. read more

I had a 12:00 appointment. I was standing on line in the hot sun for over 45 minutes, with many elderly people. No one asked if someone had an appointment, or checked on the people in the hot sun. The bouncer at the front door sat on his ass inside not moving. What are they paying him for? Finally my time came for service. I needed my iphone serviced. The service rep said "we don't touch old phones during Covid" REALLY!!!! I thought that was what a service rep at Verizon did! Just service phones. AWFUL!!!! read more

We usually drive to the Verizon store in Arden for new equipment or service, the one in Hendersonville is populated with folks who know nothing and help even less. Hard to imagine how they could be so out of touch. read more

There are two employees here who are knowledgeable and helpful: Michael and Carlos. I have personal experience with two others who are awful. I can't speak to the abilities of the rest of them. Verizon in general does not care about customers and it shows in the way they train store reps. read more

My rating is- 0 Do not go to this Verizon the most incompetent employees that I have every laid my eyes on. They switch my phone and didn't transfer anything to it. They were suppose to mirror my phone and didn't they wipe all my information on my device. They gave me a factory settings phone after waiting for hours this is ridiculous. Excellent service and almost no wait compared with other verizon locations in the area. The sales associate we worked with (William) spent a great deal of time helping us select the best phone for our needs. He even helped us set up auto bill pay right in the store. Most pleasant customer service experience I've ever had at a cell phone store by far. read more
