Cedric and Jane were very helpful, personable and not salesy at all. They patiently explained whatever phone and plan options I inquired about. I was really able to appreciate the exceptional customer service at Rockstar when Jason, the owner, immediately stepped in to assist when a minor hiccup on the carrier's end occurred. Jason informed me of the process, which was beyond my comprehension, and resolved it even after it extended past normal store hours. He even gave me his personal phone number to keep me in the loop. That kind of customer service is rare in my opinion. I highly recommend Jason and his staff. To sum it up, I love my new phone and my plan is $25 per month. Can't beat it!!!!

When I arrived desperate to fix it, because I am on vacation with no access to my personal information without a phone, I plugged it into one of their display Macs to try to update it. The staff understandably questioned what I was doing and initially wouldn't help because I didn't have an appointment. I explained that I was traveling, had no access to my banking, flight info, or navigation apps, and needed immediate help if possible. I couldn't go a day in a city I don't live in without a phone. They then kindly took my phone to the back. I do appreciate them doing this, and trying to fit me in. But after waiting over an hour with no update, I finally asked them what the status was of my phone. I was told it was a logic board issue and that I would need to buy a new phone or pay hundreds in repairs. My phone, which had been turning on for short periods before, is now completely unusable and stuck in recovery mode after whatever the staff did to it in the back. Now it is not turning on at all. It never did this before it was handled by the staff Now my phone is completely unusable, stuck in recovery mode and not turning on at all, which it was not like that before. This left me stranded without access to critical apps and information while on vacation. I understand hardware issues can happen, but the lack of clear solutions or support and leaving me without a working phone was extremely frustrating and stressful. On Thursday the same week, I was waiting for an uber and sitting on the curb and dropped the phone again. It was about a 3 inch fall at most and the screen had a very large shatter at the bottom and immediately went to half black screen with colored lines. I figured they must have a warranty, so I took it back Friday only to find him, shaking his head, and saying there was nothing he could do. Since I have had that phone 4 years, dropped it before from much further and it had not cracked until I took it there the first time, I can only assume that it was the cheapest possible screen. I only reflected on them not offering a warranty after going to Geek Squad where they were shocked and mentioned that all repair shops offer some sort of warranty.
