THIS IS A ZERO STAR REVIEW: I've been with T-Mobile since August of 2014. I won't give you a lifelong story here but in the beginning it was an absolute nightmare. They stole $700 and more from my bank account without my consent and it was one thing after another. Things were straightened out and I stayed with them. In February 2022 I called the headquarters and Norman agreed to leave one month's worth of credit in my account and get the outstanding money that I had in my account would be sent to me. Why can't this be simple hence a check. It took quite some time and eventually a credit card in my name was sent to me by a company called North Lane. What an absolute nightmare this company is. 3 days straight I attempted to create an account and log in on a cell phone. Every customer rep that I spoke to said wait until I get onto a desktop computer and I'll be able to log in. On day 4, I attempted this without any success whatsoever. I gave up! Now I have to wait up to 3 weeks to get a live check sent to me. Why couldn't this have been done to begin with? read more

T-Mobile is a great co !!!! This store is horrible and there is a guy named nick who is the most disrespectful person I've ever met. My wife and I own our phones and we were trying to upgrade to the new iPhone 15's and this guy tried to tell me that I was going to owe $500 at the point of sale and then my bill was going to be almost $300 a month from 140 so I called customer care and they told me those numbers were BS, and that I should go back in and have him look at the notes they went through and explained everything that way my wife and I could get our phones and go home not only did he refuse to open up the notes or my account when I finally pressured him into doing it, he lied to me and told me there was no notes I had to go home Customer care again. Get the same numbers. I did from customer care before and have my phone shipped to my house. I have never dealt with somebody who did not wanna make a sale that bad in my life. I can't tell whether he's the worlds worst employee or if he was trying to gouge me as much Money as he could get for his commission, I'm not gonna speak ill of the other people in the building. I don't know. I didn't have interactions with them, but that guy Nick is worthless. He should not be working for T-Mobile or any sales for that matter, he doesn't know what he's talking about. He tries to overcharge you, he gives T-Mobile a really bad rap I've been a customer with T-Mobile for years. I got my wife to come over for AT&T because I think T-Mobile is that great if I ever had to deal with Nick or anybody like Nick, I would never touch T-Mobile. Shame on u nick !!!!!!! read more

Although this store has a small footprint and is typically quite busy, the staff is knowledgeable, well-trained and eager to serve their well-earned customer base. I read quite a few negative reviews about T-Mobile as a company and about the customer service this location provides. I have been using T-mobile for 15 years, and my personal experience has been very different. SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION: I have come in here only several times over the course of 1.5 decades to get a new phone or have my questions answered. Each time, I was helped by a different person, but they have always been knowledgable and helpful. This time, I went in to ask if I should switch to a newer plan and if I should keep the insurance on my iPhone phone. The rep answered all of my questions thoroughly, which I allowed me to make an informed decision on those two issues. Thanks to his advice, I decided to stay with the old plan and walked out of the store with a $16 less on my monthly bill by dropping the insurance on the device. Because I didn't buy anything this time (in fact, T-mobile lost some money because I dropped the insurance), this rep did not make any commission but he was pleasant from the moment I walked in until I left the store. T-MOBILE: T-Mobile fits my life style and my personality very well. I travel overseas several times a year. As I long as I am ok with the (painfully) slow internet speed, my plan gives me unlimited text and internet. Phone calls are only 25 cents per minute. I've traveled to a tiny town in Tuscany, which you can't even find on maps. I was able to use internet (most of the time). I've traveled to Bucharest (Romania) and enjoyed unlimited text and internet. The best part is that, other than the 25 cent per minute for phone calls, everything is included in my plan. I don't have to worry about being slapped with a huge bill after an international trip. I'm sure I can save money by switching to a different company, I would not trade this worry-free plan for anything as I travel overseas all the time. Finally, when it comes to their global coverage, they are very explicit about it on their webpage. Also, as soon as you arrive at your destination, you will receive a text from T-Mobile, informing you of what's included for free and what is not. I don't know if T-Mobile is for everyone, but it has served me very well. Customer service here at this location and on the phone has always been great. I look forward to upgrading my phone about a much as some people look forward to having a tooth pulled. It's just plain painful! Alas, it's a necessary task every once in awhile, which is why I found myself at the magenta-infused T-Mo store on Bakerview on a recent rainy afternoon. I was warmly greeted by Ryan at the front counter, who showed me live and in person the phone I'd been ogling online - the Samsung Galaxy S7. He showed me the differences between the S7 and the S7 Edge, and since I'm a confessed phone-dropper we both agreed the plain ol' S7 was probably the safer choice. Since I was in a bit of a hurry, trying to fit in a new phone between two business meetings, Ryan quickly transferred all of the info from my old phone to my new phone. T-Mo charges just twenty bucks for this service and I gotta say, it's probably in my Top 5 for best $20 I've ever spent! I left a few minutes later with my new phone loaded and ready to go with all of my apps, contacts, music, and even my old photos transferred over to it with pretty much zero effort on my part. Talk about taking the pain out of getting a new cell phone. While my info was transferring I talked to Ryan and his co-workers about the local beer scene - these are just some super cool guys! I've been a T-Mo customer for 15+ years and have always been happy and impressed with their service and coverage. Went in having an issue with a phone I bought less than two months ago,phone would freeze,tell me I'm not connected to service (I was)unresponsive while playing games and wouldn't let me log on to work app.Service guy took phone did a couple of things then said 'it sounds like an app problem ' that's why people buy better phones, shoving my phone back to me. Apparently my phone problem was less important than the group of 3 that just came in, commission? Frustrated, I went home . I thought about restarting it, rebooting did the trick! I've had T-Mobile prepaid before but now with a Verizon plan that would be very expensive to add Canada service on to it I switch back to T-Mobile because their Canada was in only $5 to add on. In August T-Mobile was offering a new plan postpaid and no contract and with a free second line , a buy one get one free phone offer which the plan included International Canada Mexico and other International for an add-on for Travellers. I was told this new phone the G6 has much better antenna and I would have improved reception at my home which was in a challenging location for cell towers. It wasn't any better I needed the cellspot add-on to get better service through the Wi-Fi. The cellspot did help but I was hoping to be able to use the phone as a hotspot and not need to have the home internet service, so that part was a no-go. When I was looking at my charges online I noticed they were charging me $50 for the second line which I had added my daughter on to and it was supposed to be free. After 6 weeks I did get the rebate MasterCard for the free G6 phone and then a call to customer service to take off the erroneous charge for the second line and we seem to be good now. But overall the T-Mobile experience could use lots of improvements. read more

I have a pre-paid basic cell phone and clearly am not worth the employee's time. First, I walked in and there were two employees, each helping a customer. I made eye contact, and neither greeted me or said they would help me soon. So I waited. A family came in after me, and the male employee helped them when he was done with the customer he was assisting when I walked in. So I wanted some more. When he was done, and I was standing there, he didn't even ask if he could help me, so I walked up to him and said I had some questions. My first question was if he could test my SIM card to see if it was still good after I had a liquid spill on my phone and ruin it. He said he couldn't, but he could look at it. I said it looked fine, and showed him, and he said if it looks fine, it's fine. Fine. Then I walked over to some non-smartphones and said I had some questions. I said the phone I looked at online mentioned voice dialing, but I couldn't find it in the menu and wanted to verify it had voice dialing. He told me basic phones don't have it (not true, as I had one with it, and later figured out the one I was asking about had it) and I should "just get a smartphone because they all have it." I told him I didn't want a smartphone, and wanted to see if the phone I was interested in had voice dialing. At this point, he told me that they didn't really know anything about the basic phones, they just know about the smartphones. He started pressing buttons on the phone and decided it must not have voice dialing. I asked if he had the manual for the phone and he said no, that I could GO HOME and look it up online. What?! I asked him to look it up online and he told me he couldn't. At this point, I gave up with him and messed around with the phone and found the voice command options on the menu. I told him I found that menu and he said, "Oh, then it has voice dial." Finally, I had another question about the quality of T-Mobile refurbished phones, so went to ask the girl who was working. While she did answer my question, she never stopped cleaning up and rearranging the displays to just look at me and act like she was interested in helping me. An entirely disappointing experience and it was pretty clear that I was of no interest to them. read more

What a waste of my time and money. Even if it was my error in not checking, I thought T-Mobile would treat there long term customers much better than "taking them for a ride". Wow, Darren is Amazing! After speaking with customer care at this morning, my mother went in store to pick up her new phone. She literally walked in at 7:50 p.m. thinking this would be a fast transaction. Unfortunately, Darren informed her that there was a bit of an issue with my account while trying to add her new phone. Darren stayed on the phone with me while I called customer care to sort out the situation, staying past closing time to help out my mom because he didn't want her stuck with no phone. Worse customer service in this store! I went to this store to upgrade my phone on a Saturday afternoon, not one other customer was in the store at the time. There were two store managers and one sale reps at the time, more staff than customers! I was going to order the phone online, but decided I wanted to get the phone ASAP. The price to upgrade in the store was different than the online priced, so I questioned why there was a difference in price. The manager asked how much the price was online, then told me that the price difference was because they were going to help me do the upgrade. Requested they could give me the same price, I was told NO. I stood there a little stunned that they were not willing to help me. I said so I guess I have to order it online, and the manager's response was I guess so to get that price. read more

I worked with an employee named Matt. He was knowledgeable, helpful and quite impatient with me. Incompetent staff. Hearing them call themselves experts is laughable. They took a week and hours of my life wasted on the phone to tell me, finally, my account was fixed and everything was all set. The SAME DAY they stole $1265 out of my bank account, unauthorized. I am fuming. I can't pay the rest of my bills. Then T-Mobile proceeded to also take out our normal bill so we have no money to buy food and pay bills until these idiots fix this. I have NO faith in this company. They say they take care of something and you find out they just made it 100 times worse. Horrible and I regret giving them our business. It's only been two months and it's been nothing but headaches and stress. Even after all of this, still NOTHING is fixed. Useless staff, horrible customer service, and a generally terrible company. I just switched to T-Mobile from Verizon and after this horrible customer service I want to switch back.
