One thing I noticed about this place is how nice and attentive every single person is at this store (Santiago, Emily and the other two ladies, didn't get their name, comes to mind.) I came in, very frustrated, with a sim card issue on my Galaxy s4. I ended up getting an upgrade with zero money down and my trade-in covered the taxes. Even though it took over an hour, I had no problem waiting. They were all so personable and helpful. Emily even offered me water and in between waiting we all joked around with each other. I have been a customer of yours for years. My account is set up on autopay, and I have never had a single late payment or payment issue. During all the years I lived in Florida, I also never had any problems with your company. Recently, I moved to Chicago and upgraded my phone. At your store on State Street in Downtown Chicago, I was offered a $60 privacy screen protector, which I agreed to purchase. I have only had the screen protector replaced once, and for approximately two months now, I have been walking around with my phone screen completely damaged, cracked, and looking absolutely terrible. And I sincerely hope that the original screen of my phone has not been damaged in the process. What frustrates me the most, however, is the complete lack of care and customer service at the State Street location. The service is extremely slow, and when I am finally helped, I always receive the exact same answer: "We don't have the screen protector in the store. We'll have it next week." The following week, I get the same answer. The week after that, the exact same answer again. Eventually, one of the employees asked for all of my information and my address so they could ship the screen protector directly to my home. And to this day, I have received absolutely nothing. Meanwhile, I am still walking around with a severely damaged phone screen and a screen protector that should have been replaced months ago. How much longer is this going to continue? I am reaching my limit. If you are unable to resolve such a simple issue, I will pursue my legal rights and will also seriously consider switching to another carrier. Because, at this point, you are simply not delivering what you promised to provide to your customer. And let me make one thing very clear: if my phone's original screen has been damaged as a result of this situation, you will also be held responsible for the corresponding costs. I am completely fed up with this level of disregard and disrespect. I want my privacy screen protector issue resolved TODAY, or I want my money refunded, along with reasonable compensation for the time, inconvenience, and frustration this situation has caused me. Otherwise, I will take the appropriate legal action against your company. I have always been an exemplary customer. I pay on time, I keep my account on autopay, and I consistently fulfill all of my obligations. The absolute minimum I expect from a company of your size is respect, accountability, and for you to actually deliver what you sell to your customers. Tmobile has a great service for a great deal. The best part for me is that on most airlines Tmobile has free internet during flight! I came in on a Friday and the store was pretty busy. I was helped by Dominique to add a line to an account and trade for a new device. She was very calm and patient while we went through all the steps and downloaded all my data from my old phone to the new one. A couple customers came in while I was being helped that were a bit rude, and Dominique and the entire staff handled them with grace and professionalism. I went in to this Tmobile store with my husband to jump to an iPhone 15pro after we paid current our bill. We were undecided if we wanted to jump or not at that moment. My husband changed his mind and said he want to see how much he'd get approved for and if the color white was in stock because he wanted to jump.The representative Luis, had told him no he wasn't going to check and refused us service, because he was undecided at first. When my husband said could he get a receipt for the phone bill he paid for he waived him off. Don't go to this store unless you want to be disrespected where you spend your hard earned money. Please train employees at 36 S State Street, Chicago. I needed help canceling my account on Saturday, 11/11/2023, about 1:30 pm. The store manager didn't know how to cancel a government-affiliated account. That's understandable. But I suggested to the manager to call someone to assist two times. He did not do anything when I requested that he call for support both times. I then had to call T-Mobile customer service myself, while standing in a T-Mobile store with 5 store representatives. Not one of them assisted or came up with a plan to assist. Instead, they were on their phones or talking (since no other customers were in the store), while I waited for 40 min for a T-Mobile phone rep to help me. I'm not happy that the manager didn't take the initiative to support a customer with an account that was more than 15+ years old. I was upset to see that the manager or its employees were not proactive in supporting a customer who was standing in the store. I was disappointed that 5 young minds could not come up with a solution to a relatively easy procedure - canceling an account. Of course, when a representative finally answered the T-Mobile customer line after 40 minutes, the person explained that someone in the store could have personally helped me. Someone just needed to call support. An extra step needed to be done, but no one in the store did it for me, nor cared to help me. This was especially disappointing when I've been to this store on other occasions and representatives have gained access to the account. This experience was disheartening because I've seen the store representatives have direct access to support when they call, which tells me that my request could have been resolved sooner and I could have left the store in a much happier state. Instead, I left thinking that canceling my account was the best decision, and I hope never to acquire T-Mobile services again. read more

Poor Customer Service at T-mobile store at 36 S State St Chicago, IL 60603 I went in the store to switch from prepaid $40 plan to regular individual plan to prepare for my international travel. I looked on line before I go, so I know Magenta is the one I need. But a middle aged male representative in the store told me Magenta does not include international call service and I can only apply to their Max plan. I showed their price and plan details I found online, he said it is discounted service only for people who has social security number, and will do background check, etc.. I told him I understand and I used to be an regular plan client. But he kept going on enhancing that I need a social security number and background check, which I told him again that I have it and I already know that. I asked him how can I keep my account balance, he said he doesn't know, he can not do anything about it. Then he suggested me to call online service. Then I tried last time to see if anything he can do. I asked if he can call for me since I was at the store with my ID and SSN, and my call only go directly to prepaid service while I need to contact the regular plan representative. I want to preface this by saying that this isn't about this particular store, or its employees, but about T-Mobile the company. I tried out their home internet deal because I was sick of Xfinity & AT&T being horrible service providers. Turns out they are no better. The signal was spotty at best. On average I had to reboot the system every couple of days just to get it to connect; but even then is had latency issues. Further, after having signed up and giving them my credit card for the autopay (to ensure the discounted price) I was never given access to my account. I tried to set it up online, but it wouldn't work. It never recognized my email to login. I had to call customer service 3 times. 3 times I assured that everything was setup, and yet I could not ever log into the account. I was told that I had access via the T-Mobile home internet app, but the app is severally limited because you can't see any account details. Also, per the initial signup deal I was given instructions to go online to receive a gift card that would act as a one month credit. But since I can't log in to my account, I can't actually ever set that up to receive it. Yeah, that doesn't seem shady. So after the 3rd phone call when they still couldn't straighten anything out I cancelled it all. Of course they claimed they deleted the card information on file, but I am doubtful that's true or that they won't try to charge me. But it's not like they'll care about this horrible customer service at all. They'll just ignore it like they do so many other customer service complaints, cause that's just how it works. read more

Where to I start? First let me begin my saying I have lived in Anderson for 58 year and I have owned a business in Andersonville for 12 years. I have been a loyal customer of Tmobile for 13 years. On March 9th I went in to get a screen replacement and ask about the new internet service. The first thing when I walked there was no one in the store. 3 employees emerged from the backroom and there was a distinct odor of pot in the air. I didn't even care that much about that but the way I was treated was unacceptable. It would take to long to explain. I left and called corporate which asked me to go back in the store nothing was resolved. I have PTSD it was to stressful. I talked for a total of an hour to corporate. I went today to get the screen protector replaced and they were out so I called 611 she asked to go and the manager Vanessa who the employee was from yesterday she proceeded to tell me off in front of the customers...all I asked was his name...she said they refuse my business and would call the police...all I asked was his name. Fortunately the 611 operator heard whole thing. Waiting to hear back. Then I am canceling Tmobile for good because of these complete morons Vanessa isn't managed material. I went back when I lost my phone. I happened upon Edgar, again. This guy, best cell phone guy ever. In the midst of stores that just want to bilk you out of money, Edgar explained all my options for buying a new phone since I wasn't eligible for a full upgrade. The staff at this location are AMAZING! I went to T-mobile today because I was having terrible issues trying to transfer my pictures from my old phone to my new phone. My phone repeatedly cut off while sales associate Jonathan tried to transfer my pictures to my new phone. Jonathan continued to work diligently to get all my pictures transferred to my new phone. As Jonathan fixed my phone I observed sales associate Hector was very professional and friendly to each customer that came in while I was there. My sales associate Christina was knowledgeable and friendly. She not only upgraded my phone, but saw that I was paying too much for my service and changed my plan, and spent time on the phone with customer care to refund my account on a service I was being overcharged for. Got above average service from Kenni today--I visited to change my sim card and ended up replacing a cracked screen cover as well. Kenni was able to find in the system that I was entitled to the replacement case for free-- and despite the non-sale, they tediously replaced my screen cover (rather than simply handing it to me and saying have a nice day), and went the extra mile by cleaning my phone case. Just terrible. Went in on the weekend to switch a line from family plan to its own plan. Walked in with the account holder. Apparently they can't provide basic services in store. You have to call customer service and be put on hold forever. The employee was ignorant of policy and tried to get us to pay a $200 fee when the tmobile people on the phone said there was no fee. Spent over 5 hours trying to figure it out. Have to go back tomorrow to try again! Was transferred all over the place back and forth, just trying to switch a line. Worst service ever. Why cant they do anything in store? Why am I on hold for an hour to talk to tmobile WHILE I AM IN THE STORE?! Employee said they close at 6 when they really close at 5. Told me to call after 5 to check on the status of things (we finally left the store). Security answered on the fourth call, told me that they were closed. I recently switched from Sprint to T-Mobile and am, so far, very happy with the switch. I went into the store on South State street and they impressed me right off the bat by honoring a corporate discount that would normally need to be handled via the internet. I set up a new line of service and activated my new cell in less than 30 minutes. There was a question about whether my salesperson had selected the correct plan, but he couldn't answer it for me right then - he promised to call me with an update the next day before 3pm and, gasp, HE DID. Overall, very good customer service in the store and after the sale. I have also been very pleased with their 1-800 support and internet support. I'm glad that I made the switch. read more

This lady right here is the real definition of customer service. I have been having a problem with my Iphone 4 for about a good 8 months (NO JOKE), and I have to keep on changing my Sim cards because of those silly unlocking/jailbreak problem. I finally get the hang of it today, and Christina and the employee who work here are really helpful and patient with my iphone errands. On top of that, she even offered a free Sim card change for me (FYI, those Sim card cost $25 each, how do I know? because I have to freaking change it three times due to the iphone unlock problem). At the same time, a friend of mine want to register for a new number, and she were having difficulties in doing this with other T-Mobile store. We went there to get her registration going, and she can finally use her new number within an hour or so. Talk about a quick and great customer service! Kudos to Christina and this store! read more

I understand he was working on Xmas Eve, so I tried being extra nice to him. He was short and I felt rushed. I am the least tech savvy person and ended up asking him a ton of questions that he didn't answer. He was unable to transfer all my information from my old phone into the new. And then... he finally cracked a smile and said, "someone might be calling you to ask about my service. My name is XXX XXXXX.
