This wasn't some general nationwide promotion; it was a targeted offer specifically for long-term customers like me. When I went to the Menifee store to use this offer, the rep flat-out denied its existence. He incorrectly told me I had to add a line (which customer service confirmed was NOT true). Frustrated, I left without trading in. Fast forward to this week -- I called T-Mobile again, and they reassured me that my plan is eligible and the offer still applies. The rep even stayed on the phone while I placed the order through the app for in-store pickup. I picked up the new phone, activated it at home, and returned later to drop off my old iPhone 14 Pro (which had a cracked screen -- irrelevant, since the promotion was for any condition). Here's where it gets shady: The store employee changed my trade-in promotion without telling me. Even though the updates said it could take up to five days, they were able to get everything fixed and working in about an hour, while it was updating, they were there with me waiting, making it comfortable. I've been with T-Mobile for a long, LONG time. Thankfully, I've rarely ever had to come in to this store for service on my phone. The one time I did about a year ago, it was a hot mess. They used to have you check in at the height of the covid lockdown, then wait in your car until you got a text telling you to come in. Now it seems they do that only when they are super busy. I didn't have the greatest service when I went in to have them fix my phone issue. This review is based more on the T-Mobile Tuesday freebie pick ups. I come in because of the convenience and am usually in the area. This morning I went in about 10 minutes after they opened thinking I could grab the freebie and be on my way. I walk in at 9:10am and stood at the door for about a good 5 minutes before the lady who was helping a couple finished up with them. She then said she could help me as the couple walked out. There was another couple being helped by a guy, who had his back turned because he was using the computer on the back wall. They had 2 employees there at the time, 2 couples who were being helped and no one acknowledged me at all. I guess that little doorbell ring that goes off when you walk in serves no purpose. Most other locations will acknowledge and greet you even when they're super busy. It's called good customer service but it doesn't exist here, unfortunately. When I finally had her attention, I asked if they had the bags. She had to go look for them, so she went to the back and took about another 5 minutes. Then she comes out with 2 of them, because by then there were 2 others who came in after me. She handed one to me, as she was on her phone, talking to her manager (I assumed, since she was saying how she had to look for them and how you had to click on it in the app, etc.). She did not check to verify that I redeemed the offer on my phone. IF I was a shady person, I could have easily went back later or to another location to get another if I hadn't redeemed the offer on the app. Lucky for them, I am NOT shady. They really need to train the employees at this location to be more professional and customer service oriented. I'd recommend the location in Temecula, by Urbane Cafe on Winchester. My boys Jay, Eloy, and Juan know what's up!! Idk if they still work there, but I left them a glowing review. Go there instead! I'd suggest having an employee at or near the door to keep track of customers coming in for service and those who are just picking up the freebies. You'll likely have to flag someone down or just walk up to an employee to let them know you're there. Two stars for the freebies that I can actually get here and for the nice face lift the store got recently. =/ Hope they can improve. read more

I have been dealing with not receiving a replacement phone for nearly a full month. I paid for a replacement phone and it never got delivered to my house. A claim was filed and I've been going through T-mobile's insurance Asurant. Julie has been the only one to show she actually cares about getting me a replacement phone. 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to return the next day. This was due to them sticking to safety procedures. Not a fault of there's but a slight inconvenience to me. I have a business T-Mobile account for phones and Sprint Spark mobile hotspot for traveling data. Our old box was failing and we had a newer device but it needed the SIM card replaced as it was two different sizes. I arrived before opening a d there was one person ahead of me. They check you in outside. Social distancing was requested as well as mask. They permit only 10 people in the store at a time. I worked with Fausto. He was very helpful and patient as we worked through some multiple account issues and a charge we were unaware of. Fausto worked diligently to resolve all issues and I left the store with all my issues and needs addressed. I know this store has gotten some bad reviews for customer service but from what I experienced as well as saw and heard, it might be some agitated customers. Not too many review stores like these so it's usually those with a bad experience that reviews and those with good service go about their day. The $400.00 rebates they offered me 10 weeks ago never came, after 6 phone calls, and 14 representatives later, they tell me that it's not approved yet and they need another 10 weeks. The last representative was so disrespectful, argumentative, Filipino off shore third party support, I had to call back again and again again, then I had another first with another Filipino after asking for the US escalations department. After yet another 45 minutes on hold, they told me I'd have to call back to call back to speak to an American, another several calls later, more Filipinos, it's still unresolved. Avoid at all costs, Sneaky sales reps that take advantage of customers. Then refuse to fix what they did telling me 'call 611'. Telling you one price but selling you something for double the price and NEVER showing us any documents to sign. I thought it was weird but haven't been inside a T-Mobile since they used computers. Maybe they don't have enough visibility on those tiny iPads. The entire time I was there and they were refusing to help I was texting t-Mobile customer service who actually fixed everything. Gave me the credit, canceled the line and put in a report about the location. I wanted to believe it was all an honest mistake but after the Manager tried coming at us rude and realized she was in the wrong she wouldn't make eye contact anymore. Our app said we had an upgrade available, so we went in last week. Caesar told us we could upgrade, but we would have to pay the taxes on the new phones +$85. He said if we waited a few more days the $85 would be waved. Then we go there for the second time and talk to Caesar. Now, we have to wait until my new bill generates on my app. When the bill generated we went back a third time today and talked to someone else. We told him what we were told. He said, we could upgrade today, but my bill would go up $52 each month, along with paying the taxes on the new phones. He said we had to wait another year to keep the same payment. 3 different stories each time! Because of Caesar reassuring us, we bought new cases and new screen protecters. Now I wasted the money on the new phone gear, along with wasting gas having to go back 3 times. Very poor communication! If I would have been told the correct information the first time, things would have been alot better. I really had a horrible experience at this location, I walked in and normally your greeted but the crew at the initial cash registered snubbed me and greeted the customer that entered after me. The saving Grace that made me stay was Carlos, this man was awesome and very attentive to my needs as a customer unlike the other 8 that were literally on there phones. I recommend that he becomes the store manager or regional manager of training to teach the staff to never act as the rest of that crew did, it will hurt business. Walked into this location because it was the closest to our house. Looking to add another line for one our kids. All associates were busy and acknowledged me when I walk in and said they would put me on the list, but never did. When they started finishing up with customers, they started calling people that were on the tablet list. When all names on the tablet list was cleared, the next available associate just looked at a customer who was sitting on the couch and said, I can help you. She had come into the store after me. I was standing and looking at phones. So I walked out. This happen to me before at this location but didn't think much of it. Maybe they should have a paper and pen list available when they are all busy serving customers or verbally ask who was next? Not a big fan of this location. The location on Winchester and Benton is much more professional in my opinion. I rather drive a few more minutes then come back to this location. read more

If this store had the proper training, they'd be great! The manager is really sweet and makes sure to check in with every customer there to make sure they're being helped. However, none of the employees, including the manager seem to be trained on certain things outside of customer service. We went twice. The first time, the employee that helped us had to ask multiple other employees multiple times what to do when upgrading our phones. Mine in particular couldn't be upgraded due to their system not working and they couldn't figure out why. They submitted a ticket to T Mobile and told me to come back in 3-5 days. I then went to another store right after that and they figured it out right away and were able to ship a new phone out to me within 2 days. I decided to go back to the Haun location to set my new phone up, but we ended up being there almost 3 hours because they couldn't figure out how to properly switch over my phone and had to do that process twice. I was kicked out of the store and experienced HORRIBLE customer service! I was there to upgrade 3 phones, there was a waiting list I waited 1 hour and 39 minutes! There was a sign stating there can only be 10 people inside (including employees). I was watching from my vehicle, I saw a gentleman walk in and he was glancing around for about 20 minutes (there was a total of 5 people inside the store) because I had already waited 1 hour and 39 minutes and there were only 5 people in the store (including employees) I decided to get off of my car and take a look at the phones (Since I was following the rules on the sign that was placed at the front door). I walked inside and one of the associates greeted me and asked if I had already signed in. I answered and said yes I signed in already and I told him I was going to glance at the phones. That associate did not tell me anything at all (he let me look at the phones). I then hear a male say "Ma'am you need to go outside unless you have been called in" I explained I was just going to take a quick look at the phones. He started to get loud with me and continued to say "Ma'am you need to go outside" I asked why? Once again he said "Ma'am you need to go outside" I insisted on knowing why! He came out and pulled two open doors from where he was sitting (He literally flew both doors open & the doors even hit his hip, because he was so aggressive & angry about a simple question) he speed-walked to me aggressively & gave me the excuse of "Its 1 customer per associate & I need you to step out" I saw his name tag and I asked Eddie where does it say that? I explained to him the sign on the door specifically says & I quote "We are maintaining social distancing. Thank you for your cooperation. ONLY 10 PEOPLE ALLOWED IN-STORE AT A TIME (Including Employees) I explained to Eddie "Nowhere does it say "Its 1 customer per associate" and Eddie responded yelling aggressively with "That's for a different reason!!" I questioned why it was okay for the other gentlemen to wait inside if no one was assisting him & Eddie answered by saying he's next in line. I told him but you're contradicting yourself because regardless if he is next in line no associate is assisting him. He just ignored everything I was calmly asking him and kept yelling at me telling me "Ma'am you need to step outside" I simply wanted an explanation as to why if their Corporate sign said otherwise! As I explained to him there was only a total of 6 people in the store! I was following the Corporate sign! He threatened me by saying he was going to call the cops and I asked for what!!! What am I doing wrong! I guess simply because I was not following Eddies rules! I told him it was fine I would call the cops myself if he wanted me to, I got on the phone with the police. Eddie then Contradicts himself once again by telling me here's a chair you can sit on and wait (Inside) after he asked me numerous times to step outside! The minute I got on the line with a police operator Eddie told his co-worker "You know what take her off of the waiting list we are not going to assist or service her" I asked why? Eddie replied with because we are not! You can now leave the store because we are not going to help you! Not even his co-worker got involved! Why? Because he knew Eddie "The Manager" was wrong that is why his co-worker did not get involved! I told him I am going to leave the store not because you're telling me to but because I don't need to deal with this!
