Today, I needed to separate my phone line off of a current contract as my mother had died in November 2020. I was told by online customer service that I needed to go into a store in order to do so. I had to pay for an Uber to the store, as I am an epileptic and cannot currently drive. I walked into the store where the customer service representative, Joselyn, was clearly preoccupied with her partner and/or child. Once she finally noticed me, she came over and asked how she could help. Once I explained the situation, she said "oh I can't do that here - you need to call the phone number." I explained that I was specifically told by Customer Service that I needed to come into the store to separate the line off of the contract, and she immediately got an attitude, saying "well I don't know, I can't help you, I don't have the right permissions. I'm the only one here. You need to call the number." When I asked for said number, she started rattling it off - I stopped her and asked if she had a business card or piece of paper. She replied "uh, no - but you could always try googling it" in a very condescending tone. Her lack of interest in actually helping me, unwillingness to discuss my situation, and with her shitty attitude made for a really shitty experience. I paid for a round trip with Uber for absolutely nothing. After I left and called the number, I spent 30 minutes on the phone with a service representative who had such a heavy accent that I could barely understand him. After going back and forth, with him pushing me to pay off my current device, he then informed me that he could not complete my request and then transferred me to another department, where I was further put on hold. Since T-Mobile has taken over Sprint, the customer service has gone to absolute shit. I am now shopping around for plans with other carriers. read more

This store can be great or horrible depending on who is working, which is a shame considering how much the network has improved recently. Yesterday, I walked in to resolve an issue with my account and someone, somewhere said "hi." I answered and looked around to find the customer service rep. The only person that made eye contact with me was a slob, so I determined that was a customer. The woman leaning against the register counter, a pretty brunette in glasses, couldn't be bothered to look up from her white iPhone, deeply engrossed in text messaging. She gave me a curt and dismissive response to a simple question, not taking her attention from her text messaging for a moment. C'mon: this is a customer service job, and a front line representation of a company's brand. Put away the f-ing phone for a moment and do your f-ing job. Nobody is pretty enough to get away with this kind of gross incompetence. I've heard T-Mobile's customer service is lacking, but this is ridiculous. A box of doorknobs on a moving dolly would better serve the customers' needs than this brunette bespectacled bozo. The next day I came in and was helped by a very polite guy that addressed the same exact issue I had brought up to the pretty donut the day before. He had me out the door in less than 10 minutes. Stopped in today 11/16/2014 and saw a girl by the name Aleesha. Worst possible customer service I have ever seen at a cellphone store. I asked about the 4 line promotion and the most efficient way to transfer my lines from Verizon. She immediately stated that she would need to do a credit check on me so that I can buy the phones. I told her that I had 4 phones wit Verizon. She asked if they were activated on Verizon and I answered yes. She did not ask what kind of phones they were. She immediately stated that my phones will not work with T-mobile and that I would have to purchase new ones. I asked her if she was positive of that. She stated 100% because Verizon is CDMA and Tmobile is GSM. Her response to my question was a total fraud. I have Note ii's which are compatible with CDMA or GSM. I have actually witnessed my phone running on the Tmobile network at a franchise store out of town. I stopped in this store because it is close to my home and I am about ready to transfer. My point. Don't take anyone's word from this store. If they give you a similar song and dance where you actually purchased phones where your old ones would have worked I would go in and demand my money back. read more

I went to this store last night around 8:30 pm and two women were not helpful at all. The two women could't even say welcome or tell you about any promo's going on in the store.The only thing they wanted to do was get ready to close the store up with still a half hour left till closing.I would never shop at this store the two women need training in customer service...no joke. read more
