But solely for Alex who was patient with our lack of knowledge with the fast paced technology, kindhearted, informative about our old phones, and what to expect from our new phones, how they will interact when pairing with Apple Watches and very talented in other areas . I walked into the store today, it was packed with people, I was greeted and told of my problem with iPhone 12 Pro not working or booting up, I said it could be be the battery? I was passed of to several different people and finally was able to get a knowledgeable technician but he was working with several other people and technical staff constantly asking him other question. After the diagnostic tests, it was determined the motherboard was faulty and would cost $400-600.00 for the repair but it might be other aspect, he never checked the actual battery which was what I was asking about. I told him, I just got this iPhone 12 Pro from Amazon several days ago. This technical support person said he sent me an email but when I checked my backup iPhone 5+, (I was upgrading to Apple 12 Pro) email was never sent and he was only interested in selling the newest iPhone 17 and i felt like this support was not enough for me, because he was constantly working with everyone else but me. I was observing other Apple customers who had purchased new devices and these iPhones were experiencing the same problems I had with iPhone 12 Pro. Not a happy customer service experience. I know from Apple newest IOS 26 release has caused major issues which was on my new IPhone 12Pro which could be why it never worked to begin with and battery was never mentioned to me if it was working or not. I contacted Amazon and returning the defective Apple 12 Pro. Luckily, my old iPhone 8 + is still working but I had to get a new SIM card at T Mobile. Why is Apple constantly updating their IOS with terrible updates which are causing me and many others issue? I cannot update past 16 IOS and the IOS 17 updates are on most of my Apps which is terrible. I had to backup my iPhone 5 + via ICloud. website because I can't get into Apple Store, or many other app. read more

I haven't bought anything from this Apple store yet but I visited recently in January 2023 to get service done on my Macbook Air. I rate this Apple store 5/5 for customer service and a quick turnaround for fixing my MAC. BACK STORY -- My 2017 Macbook Air kept randomly shutting down even with the power on and even with the battery charged. I also saw a "service" prompt in my battery settings MACBOOK REPAIRS -- I originally took my MAC, bought for me as a gift in 2018, to MicroCenter, an Apple Authorized Retailer, but service was okay and I didn't fully understand the process as it wasn't explained to me well. After doing my research online, I went to this Apple store to get assistance. I took my Macbook to Apple (Crocker Park Mall location in Westlake), where they ran a diagnostic test for free to make sure that indeed my battery was dieing. The very nice Apple representative, a male, ordered a new battery which was actually already in stock that Saturday evening. I got a phone call and email the next morning, on a Sunday, stating that my MAC was ready to pickup. I arrived and picked up my laptop. The battery cost $129 and I was not charged for the new battery to be installed. After taxes, I paid about $150. I'm happy that I only had to wait for about 8 hours to pick up my laptop (I dropped it off on a Saturday evening at 8:30pm and it was ready by 10am the next day. NOTE -- Prices on repairs to your Macbook will vary depending on the year your Macbook was made and the type of battery needed. You may also have to wait longer for a battery to be ordered based on the type of battery needed. Overall, this review is only 4/5 because I haven't bought anything from this particular store yet. My reviews tend to show the overall experience so I will update this review once I buy a product from this store. Walked into this place 1:30 on a Sunday afternoon and the store was absolutely packed. I actually didn't walk in. I was greeted on the sidewalk by someone that wanted to know what I wanted to go into the store for. I explained my many dilemmas with an update that went from 18.3 to 26.0 in one day and he said let me see if I can get you in. at that point, I was assuming he was gonna send me to the genius bar only to be greeted outside the store on the sidewalk again by another person and I explained my dilemma to him and he said well I can't roll back the update that you just had and I went from 18.3 to 26?? Everything that was light or white now became black and clear. None of the apps are working none of my settings stayed and every single text I sent to everyone in the last 15 months was back on my phone and I spent five hours deleting them all ----that's just your settings. We have no control over updates and I was fluffed off without ever entering the store. My installed Norton no longer works on this phone either. This is only my second visit to the Apple Store in Crocker Park. The last time was pretty simple. I walked in. It was empty, looked at what I wanted to see and left ---this time? Not so much I never even was allowed to go into the store, did I look like a terrorist?? This treatment of me on Sunday was unacceptable and I will never return to this Apple Store. I was advised by some IT people I met that evening for dinner to go to the Eton store, which is fine if it wasn't 26 miles away. My 10 month nightmare started here. Took my iMac to this store for a repair. Well (3) logic boards later - over a period of 6 months; Apple told me they would replace my computer. Again, after 4 long months and 4 computers later to replace my original one - because they kept sending me a computer with the wrong specs. One would think a Three Trillion dollar company would have their act together. Nope! I was told to talk to a tier 2 tech- they would help me speed up the process. Wrong! After speaking to so many I lost count. And yes, I still got the run around. Apples " so called" tier 2 techs never return your calls or follow up with emails when they say they will. I will be contacting an attorney about a class action lawsuit regarding my iPhone 12 that crashed during an update in which the sales rep at the store made it clear that it's out of warranty, and it wasn't designed to last more than 24 months. My wife made an appointment and went there in the morning to see what was wrong with your phone and they refused to fix a thing that has been repaired before. The phone has never ever been repaired. I was forced to drive from Columbus, Indiana to Westlake, Ohio to address the store And I was upset rightfully so that they accused me wife of something she didn't do. As long as I make a reservation, ahead of time, for the Genius Bar, whether online or by phone, & if you say "Talk to John" you'll always get a live human, since the idiotic automated help gets confused by this. You may also use gethuman.com to get the phone number, and talk to a customer service rep for this store, as well as almost every company available, plus it states the waiting time for the available rep. The store waiting time, I've incurred, is usually 1 hour, but there are many stores & restaurants within walking distance, so there's more than enough to occupy my time, while I'm waiting. Also, there's ample parking garages, that make it easier to get closer to the store. read more

I had a terrible experience at the store this week. After explaining my issue over the phone I was advised to book a Genius Bar appt. I drove in a blizzard over an hour and the tech took less than 5 mins with my device. She literally plugged it in and said oh it's not working. Yup. Duh. I'd also tried that. Then today the manager called me at 9:30am to discuss my disappointment with the service. She left a message and told me to call back. But when I tried the automated system said the store didn't open until 10am. So I called back after 10. The system claims the store is still closed. Why call me when it's impossible for me to return the call? Why ask me to drive in when you intend not to offer any help? I've never found a store that has zero interest in my business. Avoid this store at all costs! The employees are rude, unprofessional, childish and have no idea as to their store policies or what they are doing. The could care less about your time and to top it off they are untrustworthy as well as unethical. They will tell you anything ( whether it be the truth or not) to make a sale. If you need service on your Apple product my suggestion would be to do yourself a favor to go to a Best Buy store and deal with the Geek Squad who are authorized to do Apple service and repairs. Why do I love this apple store? Well, it's actually farther away from me than the one in Legacy Village, but it takes a lot less time for me to get there. That's enough to make me swoon. I was immediately reminded as soon as I walked into the apple store that this is the mecca of technological bliss, helpfulness, understanding and funtionality. I was helped straight away and was given a brand new iPhone even though my warranty was expired by 40-some days. No questions asked. Seriously? No arguing? No questions? No accusations of dropping, drowning or mistreating my iPhone? None. And honestly, I still have my first ibook G4 laptop stored away in mint condition. I take care of my apple products. Always have. I'm not one to toss around my iPhone. I had the most helpful, nerdy and fun convo with the gents at the genius bar and they just so happen to be huge Yelp app fans. Bravo to Apple Crocker Park! My parents and I stopped into the Apple Store this afternoon to look at and purchase a new iPhone for my mother. I was dreading this because my 93 year old father was with us and he has dementia, isn't very mobile and isn't always very patient these days. The first thing I did when we walked into the store was ask for a low chair where my father could sit while my mother and I shopped. I was certain this was going to be a problem, but to my surprise, they immediately sent someone to retrieve a chair and bring it up front by the iPhone section where we were shopping. Our sales person (Matt? or Max?) seemed to be very understanding of our situation and periodically even engaged with my father as he sat near us. It was fantastic having him as our sales person and he did an excellent job of explaining things to my non-technical mother. He even had a better recommendation for which phone to purchase than the one we had already chosen. What I had expected to be a dreadful experience turned out to be an exceptional one. On our way home after grabbing a quick bite to eat, my father even commented on what a great day he was having. Thank you for accommodating our request to make my father comfortable. Not good tonight at the Apple Store in Cleveland. My mother was looking for quick advice on syncing her iMessages between her iPad and iPhone. Simple 5 minute question. The scheduler at the door said Will is free and would be happy to help her. Will was less than happy and told her to come back tomorrow because he was unwilling to ever hear her question with less than 30 minutes before store closing. Never mind the store was nearly empty.
