Actual rating is zero stars!! I need to stop going to this location with the hopes of their service changing! This is the second time I went in here looking to purchase some equipment (first time was a few years ago). My previous visit they told me that I should've called T-Mobile customer service first...so that is what I did in order to expedite the process and I could just pick up the equipment immediately. But this go around it was the opposite...the sales rep provided horrible customer service! One of those workers that looks like he just started working there, but ASSUMES he knows it all. I wish I got his name! As I am explaining to him what I am looking for and what I did with the T-Mobile corporate customer service, which they entered notes on my account in the system. He just did not want to listen completely to what I was saying and tried to continuously cut me off by saying they didn't have the equipment. He then said, I should've called them first and setup everything in the store. I mentioned, why do I have to call if your website shows you have several in stock. Keep in mind...this is an equipment NOT a highly demand phone we're talking about here...that's flying off the shelves! So, you're telling me that your multi-billion dollar employer's website and database is wrong and you want me to believe you?? C'mon man have an ounce of customer service skills in your being to verify!! He didn't even want to look up my information in the system and/or look for the equipment in their system or physically check their stock room. I truly believe he was upset because I called corporate customer service line instead generating a new line in their store which affects our commission. Additionally, he failed to acknowledge that both the corporate customer service rep and I saw it displayed in their system which identified the equipment is in stock at this location. He continued to argue that the system is wrong...WITHOUT any verification, either in the system or physically checking. So I walked out and called another corporate location 15 minutes down the road which the system showed had it in stock. I went to the T mobile store at Hammonton Nj 01/02/24 with my daughter. I wish I could have given the manager a 0 . I went because you have been using T mobile for long time , we are on the magenta plan and we were due to free upgrades on ours phones. At this time I only wanted to charge my daughter's phone , this guys wouldn't stop talking, trying to tell me I could have gotten a free phone during the holidays but now they had another special. They will give me 2 Tablets with internet ( which I didn't want ) so they will add a line and then 830 for my phone... to make the story short he tried anyway possible to convince me that the phone was actually free even though my bill was going up. When he couldn't convince me he followed to tried to make me feel stupid with the argument " I already explained this to you many different ways so I guess we can help " I walked out of the store and called the 611 from my phone, in fact this guys was trying to add a line to my account and charge my whole plan. The sweetest lady helped me out , I ordered a phone for my daughter for free that came the next day and envelope with a return label to send the old phone back on the mail. The only good thing I good out of this beside talking to this nice woman on the phone was to teach my daughter a lesson about not letting talked to her into doing things that don't sound right, and to never let anyone make her feel stupid. If something doesn't sound right, take a second to think and check before you take a decision. I don't know who trained this guy? And he seemed to be telling the other what to do? Expect nothing less than stellar customer service and professionalism when you walk into this location. Every single person that works here is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and very willing to help you get what you need without trying to upsell or talk you into services or components that you don't really need. I have a T-Mobile store about 5 minutes from my house, but I will drive the extra 20 minutes to go to this store EVERY TIME. These folks are just that good. This place rocks! After a long and arduous battle just to try to get a screen protector put on in another store, I decided to drive 5 more minutes and get it done here! I'm a disabled veteran and have mobility issues with my fingers and literally can't put it on myself. Well, I was informed by the manager how the other store was privately owned and some of them just aren't good with customer service. Well this is my tmobile store from now on.
