THIS PLACE IS NO LONGER RUN BY STEVE! I havent been here in about nearly 10 yrs but a broken screen…read morehad me looking to go back to the Steve I knew who fixed 2 other phones of mine. When I got there, Steve's iphone repair was no more, not even in the same suite and replaced by another business called Cherry Hill Iphone Repair. Anyone who has been to Steve knows he was a 30 something yr old white guy who used to work for Apple. The men who will tell u they are "Steve" now are clearly Arabic/Middle Eastern. Now, not to say these guys couldnt do a job but everyone knows how solid and reputable Steve was and that it was worth the trip and $$ to spend knowing your phone would basicallly be back to brand new. When I stopped by looking for Steve, the men there give very vague answers as to where Steve is, even if u call their number. Sometimes they'll say by they are Steve, then they'll tell you he's not not here right now and even will say he sold the business a couple years ago. I was very hesitant bc these guys were asking for over $120 to fix an iphone 12 screen and were clearly luring customers off of a reputation that isnt theres with zero promise of the same quality work. I didnt like they were lying and claiming to be someone they weren't. It was all very scammy. I tried to budge on the price but the guy there whoever he was refused. I had a friend call and see if Steve was there still and the guy on phone told him the repair would be $110. Clearly they are liars and no one should take anything they tell you as the truth. Aftermarket repairs are all a toss up, but Steve was a gem. Idk who these guys are, dont trust them .

I contacted the owner and clearly explained BEFORE the service call that I had an older Apple Mac desktop and that, following changes to Microsoft 365, I could no longer use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Outlook. Knowing that I had a Mac and knowing the nature of the problem, the owner scheduled a technician to come to my office at $110 per hour, plus a $49 service-call fee and travel expenses. The technician spent more than two hours attempting to fix the problem before admitting that he was not sufficiently familiar with Mac computers to resolve it. My computer then had to be taken back to their service center so that someone else could work on it. What I find particularly unacceptable is that the owner subsequently acknowledged to me that he should have sent a technician who specialized in Macs. That is exactly the issue. I disclosed from the beginning that this was a Mac. The company--not the customer--decided which technician to send. I do not believe a customer should be expected to pay for a technician who admittedly did not have the expertise required for the computer he was sent to service. An experienced Mac technician should also have been able to determine relatively quickly whether my older Mac and operating system were compatible with the current version of Microsoft 365. Instead, I incurred hours of charges without the original problem being resolved. Before writing this review, I contacted the owner directly and gave him an opportunity to resolve the matter. I asked that the service charges be refunded, less the cost of the wireless mouse I purchased and kept. He refused. What makes this especially disappointing is that I was a repeat customer. I would have continued using Marlton Computer Services in the future had the owner simply taken responsibility for sending a technician who was not qualified to handle the Mac issue. A good business relationship isn't defined by whether a mistake is ever made; it's defined by how the business responds when the mistake is brought to its attention. Businesses make mistakes. Good businesses acknowledge them, make things right, and preserve the customer's trust. In this situation, the owner acknowledged that a Mac-qualified technician should have been sent, yet still expected me to pay for the time spent by the technician who lacked that expertise. In my opinion, that is poor customer service and a very shortsighted way to treat a repeat customer. The company has now lost a customer who had used them several times in the past--not because a mistake was made, but because of the way the owner chose to handle that mistake. Based on my experience, I will not use Marlton Computer Services again and cannot recommend them to others.

uBreakiFix by Asurion -- what an absolute joke of a business…read more Made an online appointment Sunday night, got a confirmation text immediately, then ANOTHER confirmation Monday morning for my appointment on 5/18/2026. I drive over there only to find the place CLOSED. The best part? The door literally says OPEN. Then there's one sign saying they're "closing at 3pm due to staff shortage," and another sign taped to the outside saying "closed due to staffing shortage, have a blessed day." Maybe instead of sending automated confirmation texts, you should notify customers that nobody is actually there to work. Wasting people's time like this is beyond incompetent. Total clown show run by morons who apparently can't figure out how to update their appointment system or communicate with customers.
