It's Tuesday... Along with having errands in this area thought it would be the perfect location and hop that they have the item that's featured this week. Yes this is in regarding the item they offered and it was Sunglasses with eclipse lenses how cool is that! With the upcoming partial eclipse on April 8th this will certainly come in handy and now am excited to get up early to hopefully get a good view of it. This Kahala Mall location was actually the initial place that I got my first smartphone after a recommendation from a friend and used to be located on the outside upper level which now is relocated inside near CPK. Without fail I get an instant greet upon entering regardless if they're helping someone knowing that you're acknowledged is comforting though assuming was asked if I was here for the sunglasses which I was and was quickly on my way. In the past when they didn't have the item they were so nice to find out for me where might still have it which is typical service I always get at T-Mobile and which is why I'm still with since day one. I finally decided to upgrade my old iPhone. I was trading in my old phone and was surprised by the amount for the trade. There was an issue with my phone. The screen had a line so it was considered defective and ineligible for a traded-in. But because I had the protection plan I was able to take advantage of an exchange that would be considered eligible for the trade-in. So I had to wait till they received the new replacement for my old phone. The replacement came in on the next day. So I returned to the store but because of the weather and power outages there was delay in their opening. I was helped by Bryan initially who walked me through the process. Payton is amazing!! I've had to return multiple times throughout the week because I upgraded my plan, added a line onto it, purchased an apple watch, and upgraded my iPhone. The first 3 times I was there during the week, I had members of their team attempt to help me, but to no avail. The gentleman seemed nice and helpful, but T-Mobile stated I was refused my upgraded iPhone. The female tried to assist me another time. She talked a lot about everything under the sun, but didn't help much at all. I got her twice, still no resolution. Although I was frustrated, I figured my fourth time that week would be the charm. "Go for it," she was told, "see what you can get from them." She told him that we've been longtime customers, to which he said again, "go for it!" Is this how TMobile wants to treat its customers?" Kahala Mall is such a convenient location with lots of parking, all interior air conditioned mall - and this T-Mobile location is big, bright and clean! Met with a young gentleman named Mordecai who was extremely knowledgeable and helped me with my "old eyes" as I needed to convert from my Android to a brand new iPhone. He helped me get a new number and waited patiently as I went through over a hundred numbers to pick one that would work for me and another for my husband. Patience and understanding with young people for us older folks are so hard to find nowadays. No stars ....My friend and I returned to this Kahala branch to replace the screen for iwatch3 which was purchased and protective screen put on by their own associate. From the gecko, my friend watch CHRIS state to us that they don't carry the protective screen anymore, didn't try to check me in...but completely shunned me. I moved towards Naomi and asked about my watch which offered to check me in but walked away, didn't check me in, then stated it's going to take a long-g-g time with only two people ahead of me? Really?? As if they don't want to deal with any customer who comes in with a problem. But with that, T-Mobile has the reputation of selling products and all about making a buck, but not service you. I became upset and got into it with Chris who present he can fix it when they no longer carry it?! We had a problem with Chris last time. They don't want to deal with any problems and gave my associate problems last time.. My friend could not believe Chris talked to Naomi about us negatively. I'm not a Karen. I purchased this item and a new iwatch3. As a customer, the protective screen doesn't stick after 2 months . They are not supportative of customers....no class and in front of other customers. All I did was leave him home alone for half an hour or so, and when I came back he sadly showed me his broken phone. Of course he asked, "can we fix it?" but just looking at the phone I already knew the answer was NO. So i hopped online to the T-mobile website, and wouldn't you know, I was able to set up the last appointment of the night at Kahala mall. We went for food, and then made our way to the store in the mall. Amber was great! Because I had looked online ahead of time, she didn't need to sell us anything, we knew what to get for Hub's replacement phone. She told us about T-moblevision and the plans they have to offer, but we were just there for the phone. She saw my phone and asked if I was interested in an upgrade, and while I would love it, it's just not the time for it. Amber was helpful, and she set his phone up and got us out of there within less than an hour. He's happy with his phone, and i'm happy for the ottercase protecting the phone. read more

I went to T-Mobile this past weekend to get some help with our account. We were trying to renew our discount. I work for the State so I'm the one getting everyone the discount. So my mom sent me the email form and told me to fill it out. I tried filling it out but it wouldn't submit. It kept saying that it didn't recognize my account. We were on a deadline to turn this form in so we could get the discount, so since I was at Kahala Mall, I just stopped in. It was ridiculous. I think I should've just called customer service and got a faster response. We went in there and they asked for my name to write on the wait list. There weren't that many people waiting but every worker was helping someone. I'm not sure what everyone else's issue was but it was sure taking a long time. My sister was with us and then she had to go to the dentist for an appointment so she left. She walked to the building by Kahala McDonald's from T-Mobile. We were there so long waiting that my sister finished her dentist appointment. They serviced me for two minutes. I explained my problem and she told me I had to put my mom's number as the account number instead of mine. They should have a fast pass line or something for people with easy questions just for accounts. Kind of crazy to wait that long for just a quick answer. read more

I ran into the store 30 minutes before they close but Vinh was so patient and helped me for over 2 hours, successfully switching all of my 5 lines from Verizon that was giving me and my husband major headaches for last 2 days. I was with Verizon Business for last 2 years, switching from T Mobile because of the cost but I wasted so much time on customer service every time I needed to make changes or fix some problems. The employees at T Mobile Kahala are always well-trained and they make everything simple and fast. It took a long time to transfer my numbers because of Verizon Business's complicated system but Vinh was so helpful and made it happen. The store hours was till 8pm but he stayed there till it at 9:30pm and kept smiling. The supervisor Chris also had to stay longer but he was happy to help him and I'm so thankful they fixed my phone issues. Hope the head office will see this review. They are great representatives. Hands-down best service I've received at a phone carrier. Brian helped me throughout the whole day when I told him I wanted to upgrade my phone and switch from Verizon to T-Mobile. I was in and out throughout the day, going back and forth from home and the Verizon store to get the necessary info, and he helped me for at least an hour and a half, trying to figure everything out for me. I'm usually terrified of getting anything related to my phone done, because I've had really bad experiences with my time being wasted or paying more than I needed, but this was the most seamless process I've had, and we successfully got everything we needed to, done. read more

I went to this location twice to cancel a line. The first time they told me to just call customer service. I spent HOURS trying to get this simple thing done. Calling, put on hold, or waiting for a call back. Every time I got on the phone with an actual person, the call dropped! The rep even asked me if they could call me back at my number if the call was dropped, but never did. I went to the store again and they told me again that I had to do it by calling 611. Now I am feeling like if I'm not there for them to make a sale, they don't wanna waste their time to help me. T-Mobile is a waste of time and money. If they don't respect my time and money I'm gonna visit Verizon. When the location was upstairs the staff was always more than helpful to help me with phone issues instead of telling me to call 611 and talk to someone in a call center with a heavy accent. read more

Upon being a new customer with T-Mobile I had issues with my phone that were not there prior to switching cell phone companies. on two different occasions I contacted their customer service on the phone. After the fiasco I had at TMobile on Monday at the Market City location, I came to the Kahala Mall store. I was assisted by Christian and Jay who went above and beyond. They got me setup with the phone I wanted, and even called customer care to setup a custom phone number for free. The rep at MC kept telling me that I'd have to do that myself and it would cost $17, and that the phone I wanted was not in stock anywhere except Pearl Highlands. Even though new T-Mobile locations have sprung up everywhere, I still go to this one out of a sense of nostalgia as a longtime T-Mobile customer. I specifically look for one worker there who's a semi part timer. I believe his name is Brennan. Asian dude, big guy, but he provides REALLY good service, is highly knowledgeable about the products and can talk about specs and details of those products, including things that most other folks tend not to talk about (power usage, modding, etc.) The rest of the staff are mostly fly-by-night types that stay there for a few months or a year and disappear so I don't remember them that much, but Brennan gives great service so I still come back to this location even though there are locations nearer to where I live. I'm giving it a four since I don't often get to meet him and the rest of the staff are decent, but Brennan really knows his stuff. If you can get him to help you you're set. read more

Tmobile has by far always has helped me either in store or on the phone. I received my iPhone 6 way before the estimated date, I was stoked!! I was also promised a big credit for my trade in iPhone 5s, and pleased to add that I got about $250 + credit toward my phone bill. I'm paid thru November:) I recommend tmobile all the way! No annual contracts, easy payments and they allow split payments if need be as well. I've been with tmobile on a family plan for years prior and on my own for my second year now and service is always top notch!!! I was pressured into buying a new phone as T-mobile said my IPhone 8 would soon be obsolete because of the new 5G system. So I chose a 13, but they didn't really have the one I wanted so I ended getting the smaller blue one. Not my first choice. There was a promotion that also gave you a pair of earbuds, but of course the salesboy, Ramsay, said that they're out of it and need to order. He said he would call me about it. I left. Never heard back from Ramsay, if I did I would have gone in. Consequently, I ended up calling to ask about the ear buds and where were they? Ramsay said because I left, he couldn't order them. Total bull! He said he would order them and call me. He never apologized and tried to put the blame on me for his complete incompetence! Ramsay is the worst.
