The full fix was going to take days cause they'd have to gut the whole phone and on the phone this was never mentioned. I was told that because i also had a battery put in (which was aftermarket and had information smudged off of it in two places i noticed) that i would only be refunded $140 of $180. Sure you put in a new battery, but i cant really use it..i'm sending it to insurance (Which will cost me $200 deductible ). so i can have i truly fixed phone. I wish i could give a better review, but they weren't going to help me until i gave a negative one (initial offer was only %15 another 139 charge). And i'm still out $40 and right back where i was before. The initial person looking at my phone apparently thought the bend in the phone wouldn't effect another screen as it had the last. The actual technician seemed very knowledgeable. All in all unfortunate, but a huge hassle.

Absolutely pathetic with the work they do. I went to get the top screen of my 2ds xl replaced,…read morewhich was the only thing that was broken, only to get it back with a cracked bottom and top shell, dust/dirty bits that are inside the stop screen, and the bottom touchscreen's touch not even working! I brought it back to them to get the bottom screen fixed, and after I got it, while it senses taps, the touches are never in the right place, even with me calibrating it multiple times. Absolute waste of money. Their student discount, is abysmal, and the service is just so bad. More things are broken getting my device back, than what was originally needing to be repaired. I recommend looking at another repair shop and staying away from this one as much as possible. Spend your money on a better service, and for those who actually deserve it.

The people at the smartphone plus can't tell if your watch is an authentic apple watch. Becareful sending anything in through the mail because if you get it back it might not be the same. I sent him proof of purchase and he still went on talking about it not being authentic. Who knows what they did with my watch? Im about stop by somewhere they can check out my watch to see if they removed anything. Also, i had them examine the Air Pods and the manager said it was a fake because of the buttons. Wtf are you smoking? Just check to see if the noise cancellimg function works. These people working there should pay whatever they qoute you especially when they are receiving exactly what they are told they are buying. I shouldnt have to think about what if they think its fake and then they send back a fake one.

The process to get help in the first place takes forever as they only hold 2 employees ready to assist at a time so you will be waiting there for awhile if more than 2 customers are there. Started great, ended with filing complaints with the FCC and Iowa AG…read more Signing up was a great experience. So was the install. Didn't have cause to contact them until the internet speed was slow...like 4 download and 6 upload...yes, that is correct, the upload was faster than download. In the country, I have few options. Was tired of dealing with it and I could tell their customer service model had changed. Have since gone with Starlink. I cancelled with Centurylink using their app about a week before the end of the billing period and it showed me a prorated amount. I was waiting for the online amount to adjust. It didn't. Called customer service and was surprised to get someone domestically. She said my cancellation order didn't go through but that she could see I tried to cancel using the app...didn't have an explanation on why it didn't go through. Told me the prorated amount. I asked about paying the final bill and was told I'd receive a paper bill in the mail. Waiting for that paper bill, I received a "courtesy" email with an amount due that was more than the prorated amount. Using Chat, I chatted with non-domestic customer service reps and discovered they charged me a late fee. Long story short, and after chatting with a supervisor, they will not remove the late fee. Why would I have paid the full amount when I was told it would be prorated and a paper bill was forthcoming? Not my fault (now my problem) their billing system would not update the amount due to reflect the prorated amount and they would have had to refund the overpayment...and probably good luck there...more time and effort on my part. I paid the bill, minus the $18.00 late fee and filed my complaints. Not sure what happened to them, but steer clear!

I am done with Century Link internet service…read more Consumers are better off with dial up, if it even still exists! I must say, of all utility service providers I have had -- and I have lived in several countries, in numerous cities -- I have never had a more frustrating and disappointing experience. In a nutshell, during the entire time I was with Century Link it has been one missed opportunity after another to satisfy my simple requests, with irrelevant and often wrong information provided to me, incorrect and unscheduled appointments made without my authorization, absurd wait times on their customer service lines, disconnections after waiting 40 minutes, and simply put, awful internet service. I ordered 60 Mbps, and on average it was about 5 to 10 Mbps! I did not get what I was offered when I signed up, never even came close to what the services were promised and wasted time and became extremely frustrated with ill-conceived and repetitive solutions from artificial 'intelligence' recorded Century Link customer service lines. Conservatively, in the aggregate, I have spent over 20 hours over two months dealing with Century Link since installation. Not only was it highly stressful, most importantly, extremely distracting from work. This is not how any company should run their business. Oh, and during this entire time, even though I requested from Century Link through email a simple phone call and scheduled appointment over a 6.5 week period on numerous occasions, I never received either. I never spoke to one single person. It's no wonder the reviews for their service are 1 star at best. I wish i had seen these first.
