I went to this store earlier with my new iPhone and asked the guy to transfer my things over for me. He said I can do it on my pHone now and I specially asked if "even if I don't have my stuff backed up on iclouds? No iTunes needs? And he said he yes don't need them. I come home to "set up" my phone and NOTHING transferred. He lied to me......I don't even have a laptop at home to transfer anything. Don't remember the dude's name but he lied and I'm really annoyed at the moment because now I have to go back and have them do it. ANNOYING. Edit: so the new phones do have a phone to phone transfer...I just didn't think that my brand new 11 didn't not have the latest software upgrade. (This might be my first 1 star review on yelp EVER) Summary of experience: Micah (One of the sales associates) was very kind, and the rest of the staff were nice too. Our major complaint is with T-mobile polices? (Or maybe it's the manager of this locations polices?) We were nickel and dimed!! l DO NOT recommend T-Mobile as a service! There was a $25 activation fee for our SIM card, $15 per month insurance (optional), additional $15 per month features that they push, definitely tried to upsell us with all the expensive accessories you can usually buy for half off of Amazon, it's a $20 fee to use the warranty on a defective item (WTF?), another $50 restocking fee if you return something WITHIN their 14 day return policy (and this is PER PHONE), and to activate two lines it's $120 per month for the service itself, don't forget taxes and other fees as well. Sure you get free Netflix with them and dumb taco time tacos on Tuesdays .... this means nothing to me. I thought I had done my due diligence researching different cell phone companies... Sprint has absolutely terrible service, Verizon is the most expensive, I've been with AT&T for about 15 years and I have absolutely loved them but when I called multiple times to try to see if they wanted to keep my business, they offered no help (UNTIL The day I called requesting my account number and pin to change services ... also WTF). The other service I looked into for a long time was MetroPCS. The only reason I chose T-Mobile was because they seemed to have affordable prices, and I was going to be able to get an upgraded phone which was the only reason I was switching out of AT&T. I picked T-Mobile for their trade in deal... I could trade in my iPhone 6 S for $600 and only have to pay 400 for an iPhone X. But again... T-Mobile is tricky!!! They still charge me as if I'm paying the full price of the phone and take the $600 credit and credit it out over the course of 24 months so as to make you stay with them for two years!!! SHADY! They said there is no such thing as contracts anymore you can cancel at any time but then you are losing the trade in $ and have to pay for you phone out in full! So after my husband and I did all of this purchasing 13 days ago... And decided we didn't want to stay with T-Mobile... They told us our only option was to pay $100 in restocking fees to return both of our phones and then we can get our money back... But that would mean literally throwing $100 down the drain.... I just don't even know what to say... so many fees. This company has tons of money and yet here they are nickel and diming us. After a crappy experience at the University Village location, I made a drive up to this location to redeem the T-Mobile Tuesday lunchbox offer. There were three employees in the store, and all of them were busy assisting other customers. I roamed around the store, took a look at the display phones, and then made my way back to the front of the store and waited for assistance. A gentleman was wrapping up the conversation with a customer, but the customer kept trying to talk to him. I could tell that he wanted to assist me, but he couldn't get out of the conversation with that customer. I didn't want to interrupt, so I patiently waited, but I appreciated him making eye contact and acknowledging me. After not being able to break free from the customer, the associate says, "real quick. I just want to check in with her in case she has a quick question." It made me smile, and I told him that I was just there for the T-Mobile Tuesday offer. He sincerely apologized for the wait and kindly led me over to the lunchboxes. My friend couldn't make it out, but he was on FaceTime with me and asked if he could redeem the offer as well if he showed his code. The employee was kind enough to let my friend get one and made the experience an amazing one! I wish I had gotten his name, but he was working the front of the store at around 7:55 PM on 08/24. There's always a wait. Weather you come Monday afternoon or the weekend. Plan to wait at least 30 min before they help you. Staff is unprofessional and easily gets distracted. They'll talk to each other while they're helping you and sometimes they'll disappear while helping you and never come back. Avoid this location. read more

This T-mobile has hands down the best atmosphere and customer service I have ever experienced whilst shopping for a new phone. I had a iPhone XR that was almost unable to charge, then walked out with an insured iPhone 15 pro. They upgraded my plan and kept everything reasonably priced. I was with my dad who also upgraded to a Samsung 24 ultra and my mom got a Samsung 24 plus. The employee I first met kind of pushed us off cause he was busy, the second employee we worked with was nice and the process was about an hour. She was friendly and gave us all the information we needed. They played good music too. This is the first review I have ever written, it's also the first new Phone I have ever had. This is hands down the worst T-Mobile I've ever been to. Stood there for 20 minutes and not one of the THREE sales associate acknowledged me. Granted, they were with customers.. but really not even a "Hi, we'll be with you in a minute?" Icing on the cake is one of the sales associate walked over to where I was standing to grab his key and didn't even acknowledge or assured me that I was next in line. All he said was, "excuse me, just grabbing my key." Like what? Am I in the twilight zone? Did I inherit invisibility? Someone pinch me. I'm only adding a star (making it 2) because when I finally got helped, Jose was swift and fixed my issue (phone was not connecting to the T-Mobile server). This is terrible customer service. I went in to change my plan from AT&T to T-Mobile because I was sick of AT&T after 10 years and ready to go back to T-Mobile. I joined with my boyfriends plan and we upgraded our phones. I tried to pay for the phones at the time and they said no no no we have a payment plan that is zero interest and you can just pay for the phone on the bill. OK cool sounds good why would I pay a bunch of money upfront when I could just have zero interest and pay for the phone overtime turns out they added it on a bunch of stuff, like one of the phones was a lease. They just fucking lied and they are the reason that no one likes cell phone providers. read more

I had a *to put it lightly* horrible experience at another location setting up my account. Justin listened to all my feedback and took direct action to resolve what he could. He reviewed my account in detail, and even found another error that had previously gone unnoticed. He has also taken initiative to liaise with the other, troublesome store location's management so I don't have to. Thank you for going far above & beyond to right this wrong. Horrible service. Was told do I want to compare my options as if my business meant nothing to them. Well I guess I better check out my options then...thanks for the push out because I'm paying $150 a month and the service doesnt even work in my house. I live in Shoreline on the top floor. I have 5 towers within 2 mile of me. I talked on the phone to 4 people taking about 3 hours to be sent to the store w wrong information so I wasted another hour and in the end I still have shitty service. Then on top of wasting all my time and phone not working the manager and assistant manager treat me bad. I dont want apologies. I want to be credited for my wasted time and have the problem fixed. I spent half my day off trying to figure out why my phone service doesnt work..and it's still not working.smh read more

My boyfriend and I came in last Saturday to get a new phone since my last one broke. We were help by Robel who was great! He informed us of their current Bogo deal, which we took advantage of for our business. This bad review isn't because of him, but the other employees. Things were going fine until around 7:30, the other employees started being very rude. A couple of times when Robel asked for assistance, they would just complain and ignore him. The male employee even said (with us sitting right there) "we have families to go home to" and "just tell them to come back tomorrow". Seriously? Even if you want to kick us out, there are plenty of nicer ways to say it instead of yelling across the room. We were already committed to our new phone plan and just had to finish up. I had checked the closing time that day on Yelp before heading there and it said they close at 9 pm not 7:30. Even if the time is incorrect, you never yell across the store about how you want to go home so customers should leave. Worst customer service I've experienced in a while. I've worked in the service industry for 10 years so I know what it's like to be anxious about closing but was never that rude. Management needs to step up and retrain some of their people. read more

They both helped out with paying part of a bill and they both help me order an accessory that I wanted. If you're planning on visiting the Shoreline Washington area. And you're a T-Mobile customer. A person named Gavin let another person behind us go in front he kept apologizing for that. Than put the phones case on wrong and the phone glitched literally when we were there. This location has the worst customer service ever. The staff is always very rude and is never helpful. If you have a question about anything pertaining to your bill they will tell you "i dont know, call customer service". There was one instance where the manager told me i could add a mobile hot spot to my ridiculiusly overpriced family plan for no addition to my monthly bill, when I returned the following day to set it up he told me it would raise my bill by $50 and he had no knowledge of the conversation I had with him the day before and was very rude to me, he even called me a liar. I would highly reccomend going to any tmobile location besides this one. I went there with my daughter in law, she had a message that her phone was over the plan minutes. She had been told by the phone reps the wrong info. We went to the Tmobile store and talked with them, the clerk figured what was needed. The young man Christopher Amador went out of his way to helps my daughter in law. He researched a plan that they could transfer to that eliminate the overage and give them more minutes. He went beyond what would be expected and gave 110% customer service. read more
