The staff were extremely helpful in suggesting which brand/quality of paint to choose, which finish, and how many gallons to buy for our space. We needed supplies too and got a good overview as to why there was such a range of prices for things like brushes. As I said we're novices and probably could have been sold pretty much anything, but it was clear that the staff were being straightforward and just giving solid, honest advice. I thought the prices were reasonable, considering we went pretty high quality and were able to take advantage of a sale going on. The finished paint job looks great, too.

Other store people are helpful and knowledgeable and knew a brand I didn't know the name of and was looking for (The Ordinary--great skincare brand and very cheap, hard to find except at Ulta). Very well stocked store with great brands. This Ulta doubles as like a drugstore almost because of the drugstore makeup brands it carries (Milano, NYX, Loreal, Elf, Essence, etc). Also has a clearance section which was unexpected. Because of vaccines many store clerks aren't wearing masks at Indian Mound mall, but Ulta clerks still are. Displays and makeup testing is available but only with clerk assistance. Recommended.

Zanesville certainly falls short when it comes to shopping options and this was very needed. The store is pristine. Everything is well organized and items are pretty easy to find. Different brands are clearly marked and I really like the layout. It was pretty much split down the middle, makeup on one side and hair/body on the other, with the service bar in the very middle. The best part... no one bothered me. I was free to shop around without a hundred different employees asking me if I needed anything. My mom and I were both shocked. AND when we actually needed help, it was so easy to find someone and they were SO nice and helpful. Another thing I love about Ulta, they still do samples. They also often have free gifts when you purchase Ulta brand items as a rewards member. Definitely a win for the makeup lovers in the area.

I took a pair of dress shoes in for minor repairs and a shine, however, since a new pair is marginally more than repairing the old one, the gentleman actually just showed me what to do and gave me a quick shoeshine class since my shoes were "of very good quality" but just needed some care so I can wear them for a bit longer. They offer more than basic shoe repair so, even if you don't need actual shoe repair or if you are passing through on I-70, go support this local business in anyway you can.
