In the midst of that, the act manager Tarek Rida overheard we owned a business and told us about Verizon business and how it would "save us money" switching to a business account. Tarek added 2 extra lines to our account without our knowledge that we have been paying for months. After talking with customer service, (which I have all phone calls recorded) they stated this is fraud and he's been doing this. They said they could refund us credits from the amount we have been paying over the months but first had to go back to the store to have Tarek remove the lines and note in the account we may be refunded. This is because our account had been switched to a business account by him and only he could access to change things that customer service could not do. Went up to the store multiple times he wasn't there. Finally yesterday my husband went up again and Tarek was there. He said "he couldn't remove the lines" ?!! I went up today to have our account switched back to a regular account rather than business because it's been nothing but issues. Tarek got very hostile with me, said "I'm not doing that and I'm not helping you" and got up and walked away. He created fraud activity and refused to fix it. The police were called the the store today and a report against him has been made along with the fraud department with Verizon against him. Also have contacted my attorney and will be taking this matter against him farther. For any future Verizon customers avoid this location but especially Tarek Rida at all costs!! Also check your bills, do not fall for any scams in store when they tell you they can save you money, and never just hand over your devices to them. He added lines and an app on my children's iPads without us knowing and they've been receiving spam texts and calls and inappropriate messages ever since. We still are having trouble getting these lines removed and switching back to a regular consumer account from business.

However, the process and time you will spend there is 1 Star. We have been at this location 4 times in the last two years. Each time we are there 2-4 hours. We go during the week days when they are less busy, but even when there are only one or two customers before us, it is still a minimum of an hour wait. We have bought two new phones, traded in another phone and had them help us with a new glass cover on the 4 occasions. They are slow, not organized in any way, and I'm not sure why we keep going back except that we have been Verizon customers for years and this is our easiest access location. They also said I would be receiving a $200 bill credit and a few accessories with a promotion they were having plus I was switching from a competitor. I thought awesome these people are being so helpful! Well the told me how much my phone was going to cost with the contract and we were good to go. There were several times they said something that I didn't understand and I asked them to clarify and they did. They mentioned the edge program and I told them that I did not want to do that and wanted to do contract. I told them that several times and they confirmed that they weren't. I pay for the price they gave me for the contracted phone and sign the contract, which they told me was a 2-year contract. I find out two months later that it was all a lie. I check my bill and I am getting billed monthly for the device, which is edge and they told me that wasn't what they were doing. I call Verizon customer service and they have no record of me paying for my phone, yet I have a credit card statement that says otherwise. I went back and looked and they charged me for all of my "free" accessories to make it look like I was paying for my two year contract phone price and slipped the edge plan in very VERY subtly because I was very adamant that I did not want edge. I do not recommend going to this store unless you want to get ripped off and lied too. I have NEVER had this problem before and have always believed what a company told me. The store employee told me it would only be a $20 monthly line fee added to my account. In reality they charged me $40 a month and put me under a two year contract like I was purchasing the phone. When I realized this I went back to the store, they said they would correct the mistake. The employee never corrected the mistake and after going back to the store month after month for several months it only got corrected when I had to upgrade to a new phone with a two-year contract because the old phone was no longer working correctly. When asked to speak to the manager they told me that he was fired and expected me to except that as a reasonable answer, I then had to ask for the regional managers contact information which they reluctantly gave me. I was never credited for the over charges that were made to my account! Do not go to this store!
