It's very concerning that I see almost the exact same experience I had at this store in another review. Do not sign up for any service or complete any sale at this store. Apparently it's store policy to deceptively sign you up for additional lines, and you'll be paying a higher plan bill as a result. I went in to replace a broken phone. I left with a new phone and a higher plan. It was my understanding that the higher cost was a payment plan for the new phone. Nope. I was originally paying $45/month for my plan. The sales rep signed me up for a second line, and a new plan that is $122 month. The phone is "free" for the second line. My bill increased $77 a month. The phone cost was $800. So after ~10 months I expected the phone to be nearly paid off. Nope. That $77/month was for the new service the store sales rep signed me up for without explaining what they were doing. And after almost a year of payments, there is still over $400 left on the cost of the phone as part of a 24 month agreement. So let's do that math. That extra $77 a month for 24 months for this new phone plan is $1,848. The phone outright cost $800. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income. I do not have a spare $1,000 to gift to T-Mobile. I recommend everyone who experienced this to file an FCC complaint against T-Mobile and this specific store. read more

I had been a TMO subscriber for 10 years when my wife and son decided to go to the Valley Stream store to add a third line to our plan and get our son his first phone. They were bamboozled and lied to by a slick sales person who somehow signed them up for not one but three extra lines and gave them a "free" phone that we later got a bill for $799 for. When we went back to the store to the complain about being lied to and sold a bill of goods, they made us wait forever and then closed the store. Eventually, my wife had to go back to the store 3x to get them to remove the unwanted lines and provide a more affordable non-free phone. They are a bunch of nasty liars who don't care about you at all at this store. Don't shop here. And, don't use TMO, because this is their idea of customer service. read more

Let me begin with this I will never in my life deal with T-Mobile ever again. It's a Money hungry and company and they do not care about their customers!! I regret regret being with T-Mobile. And I'm going to post my story every single day until my phone is finally unsuspended. Two weeks ago my phone was stolen, so I did what's only right. I reported my phone stolen. Four days after that, I retrieved my phone back. So I went to the T-Mobile store and I unsuspended my phone. The insurance company decided to not only suspend my phone again ( even though I told them I found my phone ) and I had to wait 2 to 3 business days. That's what I've been told for the past two weeks that I have to wait 2 to 3 business days for them to un suspend my phone. and then they proceeded to send me a new phone which I didn't authorize. So I had to hunt for a phone that I did not authorize to send back so they can unsuspended my phone.. Now we're on week two finally the phone is sent back. Do you think after all of that my phone can be unsuspended absolutely not now I have to wait another 24 to 48 hours for them to un suspend my phone because that has nothing to do with the insurance company for some strange reason that was told to me. I've been going back-and-forth with supervisors with T-Mobile customer service and nobody seems to help me.!!! After the 24 to 48 hours after two weeks of this, they still can't unsuspended my phone. Finally, I go into the T-mobile store after two weeks. The customer service people told the associate in the store and said my phone is suspended again. And I have to wait another 2 to 3 business days. I'm done with T-Mobile. I will never deal with this company ever again! They do not believe on helping nobody! I missed out on work. I haven't spoke to my family. I live in New York by myself. I don't have no other phone to use. Now I'm going on the third week of having my phone being suspended. I do not recommend this company. This company is a Money hungry company and they do not care for their customers. And I'm going to post my story every single day until my phone is unsuspended. They're so fast too, suspend your phone yes for safety purposes, but can't un suspend it. Never again will I deal with this company ever ever!!!! read more

Horrible service. Store did not open until 11:05AM. I waited 15 minutes with my daughter in the food court for the rep to be rude. I came in for a screen protector under warranty and he stated the system was down and couldn't process the claim - the solution required me to purchase a new protector out of pocket. They was no apology or empathy form the rep. I would never recommend this location. read more

every product I've bought from there has an issue that they refuse to fix. they rob you and then turn around and disrespect you. I went there to hey a simple issue fixed in a brand new phone I purchased from them. I was thrown out the store by an oversized dummy. who referred to me as a nigha... he also did this infront of my children and it's funny because he was an immigrant. the bad experience and disrespect from the staff towards myself and my children wasn't enough he had to racially disrespect me as well. when I called corporate tmobile they did nothing. .. this is the world we are living in with no respect for people. especially the children.Rene was the person in charge and he was so disrespectful and it's not the first time but this was the extreme for anyone will never be going back there and I'm in the process and ending all businesses with T-Mobile. for someone with 5 T-Mobile devices some respect was needed... even if I didn't have a T-Mobile account this is not how u treat people read more

All associates appeared to be assisting customers as I walked in but I was promptly attended to by one I hadn't noticed. His name is Joe. Joe took his time with me and was very kind as he understood how upset I was with my phone being in ICU and the hospital (Samsung at Best Buy) not giving me the help I needed for my baby. He honoured the note on my Tmobile account from their head office and I was on my way in no time. There was a slight hiccup when a group of customer walked in and rudely interrupted our transaction. They were a bit hostile but Joe handle the situation like a champ. **Fist bump to him** I had to return when yet again problems from T-Mobile's update caused my device to have a stroke. Joe again was the man. I'll come to this branch if I ever need assistance again even though there's a branch closer to me. Sidenote: I went to the closer branch before coming here and there was nothing they could do smh. Four stars for Joe! The End. read more

Hi Folks, Welcome to the"New" T-Mobile on the 2nd floor of the Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream, NY. For several months this store had been under renovations. As a result the whole store was reduced to just a small kiosk, and was placed in the middle of the floor of the Mall. I was initially attracted to the friendliness of the staff, as they were nice enough to interact with me and answer my questions. I actually was deciding to move away from T-Mobile as a result of some harsh words from a "corporate manager" at a different location. WHAAT !! Jim ? Yes, I had been a T-Mobile customer for over 5 years. I have 5 handsets and spend over $400+ a month, (EVERY month). I thought I was a good customer. But... Following some horrific comments from THAT corporate manager (in a different location) ... I FROZE all my "JOD" upgrades and peripheral spending, the purchasing of ANY new items and I did not patronize any brick-and-mortar T-Mobile locations for over 6 months. Despite contact with corporate I never received any apology. I was truly ready to leave. Today, I decided to see if the renovations had been completed at that "other" T-Mobile store with those friendly employees. After years of a business relationship, I wanted to give T-Mobile one more chance. Walking inside this big, bright, beautiful new corporate location, I was immediately impressed. I was greeted with all smiles right away by their friendly, and helpful employees. That makes the money spring right out of my pocket. Cool! I was helped by 2 employees, The Manager, Yoly and Mobile Expert Jenny. They were wonderfully patient listening to my previous experience. Wow, they made apologizes for that other managers terrible words. Even though they had nothing to do with that incident in another store miles away. I was quite impressed by this professionalism. Then they really raised the bar and answered all of my questions, "some quite technical". Their technical expertises were wonderfully perfect. I felt like a valued customer once again. Great !! I reward professionalism with my purchases... I'll take THAT.. that..THAT..and this! Here's the credit card. I was so pleased with my brand new Note 10 plus which just came out the other day. My technical experts explained every little thing about my new phone. They went out of their way to find the "LAST"case that would fit this handset they had in stock. Suggested the new Samsung buds. So nice and Sleek they come in a little mini case which acts as a charger too. The sound quality was incredible, I thought my stereo was on and had to check it. I love small discrete earpieces especially effective in my security profession. They were so cool in the mini charging case. Wearing them, I felt like James Bond. My T-Mobile experts transferred all of my my apps and pictures and helped me reinitialize them all. They hooked up the new earbuds and gave me some additional advice to enrich my enjoyment experiences. I thought I was Mr T-Mobile, but they told me some new cool stuff that I didn't even know. And to top it off, I got a T-Mobile hat on the house. (Wifey will certainly steal this) Yes T-Mobile, I was tickled pink! Soo happy, pampered and treated like a respected, valued customer. Yesss ! Almost not fair! Treat me good and I'll spend a lot of money. So why not 5 stars here then? Unfortunately, I wasn't eligible for the buy one get one free on the handset and I did not receive any discounts even though I spent quite a bit of money. Teaches me to buy more online where there are discounts. Now That I Found a T-Mobile that I can feel confident with, I'll probably be back with my other 4 units to jump them all up to the newer models. But again my rush to do it is tempered by the not being eligible for any discounts. Now instead upgrading my other handsets immediately, I have to look around for my best price options. Avoid this place at cost, there are better ones in the mall. I am not from the US I bought a line at the airport it's prepaid but I wanted to change it since my new phone uses an esim, at the store they ask me for the name of my current company and dismissed me, I tried to explain myself, then ask for a new phone case and inquired about the price, again ignored by the 2 ladies working there I guess if you are not purchasing above $500 you will be ignored, ended up buying a line with verizone, staff was amazing there read more

Their phones are overpriced. You can buy the same kind of phones elsewhere for less. As a long-time T-mobile customer, I went there to get a new phone. They tried to charge me the price of the phone plus $20 extra for linking this new device to my account. I asked why I was being charged extra and was told it was because I never had a device linked to my account. I showed them my existing T-mobile phone, but it did not matter. I had gone to this store to purchase a phone for my girlfriend for Christmas. The cashier said I couldn't purchase a phone unless I knew a PIN for a prepaid account, or if my name was on the plan if it was a plan. So I left without the phone that I was trying to buy with straight out cash. I sent my girlfriends sister to buy the phone and she accidentally got the s6 instead of the s6 edge. I went two days later with my girlfriend to make the exchange and they want to charge a 50$ re-stocking fee. That is ridiculous for a phone I paid 600 dollars for, and need to pay 150 more to switch to the correct one. And on top of that.... $50. I'm glad I'm a Verizon customer. read more
